Orlando Magic get good news in Franz Wagner’s diagnosis #franzwagner #orlandomagic

This is Philip Rossman Wright, the host of Locked on Magic and the Orlando Magic received the best possible news they could, the absolute best news they could get from this injury to Fran Vager. If you missed it on Sunday, Fran Vagner left the game with apparent left knee injury, a left leg injury after his leg got trapped under him going up for a fast break aloop. The prognosis is in and Fran Vagner suffered a high left ankle sprain. According to the magic and MRI showed no structural damage to the knee, no further, at least was being reported, no further strains, no further ligament damage, no no uh no bone bruise. A high ankle sprain is a serious injury and and Fron is going to be on the shelf for a little bit. Uh the the typical prognosis for a high ankle sprain is 2 to four weeks. I would probably put him on the on the back end of that. So, we won’t see him again until early January perhaps. But still incredible luck for the Orlando Magic to be without their to not have to suffer or deal with a major major major injury to one of their star players. The Magic successfully held the boat steady going seven and three with Paulo Beno out for three weeks with a strained groin. They’ll have to do the same going up against a little bit of a still difficult schedule. They’ll do their NBA Cup games this week against the Miami Heat, then the New York Nixon or Toronto Raptors and then maybe an NBA Cup final. Um, and then they go out west to play Denver, Utah, Portland, and Golden State, I believe, or maybe Sacramento. Sacramento maybe later. I don’t I don’t have the schedule. I memorize that far out. And then they get a lot of time at home, and frankly, one of the softer parts of their schedule. So, from a team perspective, the Magic are in very, very good shape to continue picking up steam, continuing to build, especially as Paulo Ben Caro gets comfortable being back in the lineup after three weeks out and probably on the ball a little bit more. Still, the bottom line is this. Fran Vagner is still on track to play in the Berlin game in January. I know that’s very very important to him. That is 6 weeks from now. Um and so he should be at least coming closer to return if he’s on the far on the long end of this um for that game. I’m sure that is a goal for him as well as Movagner who should be back as well in the very very near future. Bottom line, very very good news for the Orlando Magic today. They lucked out. They got exactly what they wanted and exactly what they wanted to hear and now they just have to wait for France to respond to treatment and get back on the floor in the next four, five, six weeks.

The Orlando Magic got the best possible news today with Franz Wagner’s diagnosis.
