According to MoneyPuck, Sorokin is the 2nd best goalie in the league right now, including in GSAx and WAR, behind only Logan Thompson of the Capitals.

He had a slow start but seems to be shaping back nicely into form

This is a well deserved acknowledgment of the man’s talents and accomplishments.
He’s been putting in the hard work with his new trainer and it shows, of course having a hall of fame goaltender as your teams head coach must be helpful too.
