WILD Kyrie Irving Trade Report Has Emerged…

Wild Kyrie Irving trade rumors have emerged that really puts things into perspective and shows just how difficult a trade could really become. The Dallas Mavericks have found some success lately as they were on a three-game win streak until they saw the Oklahoma City Thunder, but then they did beat the Houston Rockets showing that they can bounce back from a pretty rough loss. And even though we don’t play the Brooklyn Nets until Friday, that should also be a scheduled win. So, it’s safe to say that the Dallas Mavericks are learning how to win with their current roster, which leaves a lot of Mavericks fans thinking that we shouldn’t trade anybody. No reason for a rebuild or to blow it up. It’s working. Just wait till Kyrie Irving returns. Well, speaking of Kyrie Irving, it seems like there are some rumors floating around that certain teams are eyeing a trade for Kyrie Irving, showing that even though he is injured and rehabbing his torn ACL, he still holds value. And on top of that, contenders are looking at Kyrie Irving. So, in this video, we’re going to take a look at the reports surrounding Kyrie Irving. Who wants to trade for him? What would we want in return? But also, why does one trade start a chain reaction that the Dallas Mavericks may not be able to control? But how’s it going everybody? My name is Marcel Martin. This is Mavericks Digest, bringing you the latest news on everything Mavericks related. And before we get started with today’s video, we’re currently sitting at 23,573 subscribers. But the Dallas Mavericks have had a pretty interesting season so far. And even though it started off pretty bad, things have been looking pretty good. We were on a three-game win streak. We did lose to the Thunder, but we bounced back in a big win against the Houston Rockets where Brandon Williams was looking absolutely amazing. Overall, the Dallas Mavericks are figuring out how to play well with each other. The team is jelling. You have players like Ryan Nimhard who makes everybody around him better. You have Cooper Flag who is learning to be more aggressive and learning how to take over when the team needs him to. And on top of that, we have Anthony Davis who is healthy still, although he did have a pretty scary knee injury against the Thunder, but that didn’t cause him to miss time. I thought he was going to miss the Rockets game, but he did look very good in that game as well. And we do have some time until our next game, so hopefully the wins do continue. But that does not stop the rumors floating around. It doesn’t stop fans speculating on who’s going to stay, who’s going to go, what direction should the Dallas Mavericks take. And on this channel, we have talked heavily about the direction of this team. Either you do try to compete or you do try to rebuild. You really can’t do both. And if I want to just bring up this old report that we’ve already talked about a few weeks ago, Tim McMahon had said that Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving uh trading AD is a real possibility. I would even say likelihood this season. Trading Kyrie is not something that’s on the Mavericks priority list or is just straight up not something that they’re interested in doing right now, which is rightfully so. We’ve also seen other reports that the Dallas Mavericks do want to build the team more so around Kyrie Irving as well as Cooper Flag. Some people pointed out that it’s kind of odd that you have two players on opposite ends of their timeline of their career spectrum really. You have a rookie in Cooper Flag, then you have a veteran in Kyrie Irving who probably wants to win now and maybe not want to sit around for rebuild. It’s a very odd situation for the Dallas Mavericks. You do have young players, you do have vets, you have players with value, but the one thing we don’t have is draft capital. For the next four years after this upcoming draft, we do not control any of our first round picks. As a matter of fact, in 2028, we owe a swap with the Oklahoma City Thunder. So, in 2027, if we’re a bad team again, the Thunder could get a very good pick while we’re left with the 29th pick of the draft. But a few other things that we definitely want to take a look at right here. It was reported the other day that the Minnesota Timberwolves are interested in trading or I’m sorry are interested in Kyrie Irving. Now take it with a grain of salt because you see who it is. Scoop B, the man who also said that Kevin Durant wanted to come to Dallas until Kyrie Irving got injured. We all know that Scoop B is a wonderful source. But if we want to take this at face value, it would kind of make sense. Anthony Davis is an amazing player. A few years ago when we made it to the finals, they were trying to herald him as the next Michael Jordan. going a little bit too far, but to be fair, he is a very good player. You could argue he could be one day the face of the league, and he has been making some really good playoff runs, just falling short every single year. The team does seem to work, but could be lacking a real facilitator and a a point guard that can take away some of those dudes from Anthony Davis. So, maybe Kyrie Irving is exactly what the Minnesota Timber need. The problem is the Dallas Mavericks don’t want to trade Kyrie Irving. It’s we’ve seen many reports about it. We’ve seen how Kyrie Irving means a lot to this organization, means a lot to the city. He means a lot to Cooper Flag. And the last thing I want to do is take anything away from Cooper Flag. However, if I’m the GM and the Timberwolves are knocking on my door, blowing my phone up for Kyrie Irving, you best believe I want a King’s ransom, but I’m not going to ask for too much, but you definitely want to get something in return. It’ll be completely different if the Dallas Mavericks were shopping and injured Kyrie Irving. You may not get that many returns. But if a team is coming to you for one of your injured stars, then you can kind of set your price to whatever it is knowing that they’re trying to win somewhat soon, just like how the Mavs want to win now. The Timberwolves are more equipped to win now. And if Kyrie Irving takes him over the edge, then let’s get to the table and see what we can talk about. So, if you want to take a look at this, oh, here we go. This horrible trade that I tried to cook up that failed. The Dallas Mavericks would send Kyrie Irving to the Timberwolves and in return we will get Julius Randall, Rob Dillingham, the 2026 first round pick and the 2028 first round pick. The two picks kind of fix the lack of draft capital that you have. Rob Dillingham as a young point guard. You could put him alongside Brandon I’m sorry, Brandon Brandon Williams as well as Ryan Nimhard. That could be your three point guard rotation. You trade away D’Angel Russell, you trade away Jaden Hardy, any other point guards. Let Dante Exom just go in the wind come summertime. And then you take on Julius Randle solely for the fact because of salary. And the reason why I showed you this failed trade idea is because there’s not many trades that would work sending Kyrie Irving to the Timberwolves and getting anything of substantial return back. You almost would trade him for absolutely nothing. With the new aprons in the NBA, a lot of teams are struggling to make any real changes. The Dallas Mavericks went into the season with what they thought was their roster for the future, meaning they had 15 players on the roster already. With our three uh two-way players as well, as well as being hardcapped at the second apron, we don’t have the flexibility to trade big big pieces like a Kyrie Irving who’s making $36 million over three years. Or you have Anthony Davis on a big $54 million a year contract as well. I’m sorry, Kyrie’s making 36 million a year, not for three years. He’s making $36 million every year for three years. You have Aliyah Davis on a $54 million contract as well for four or five years. And things get very, very tricky when you try to make things work, which would result in if the Dallas Mavericks were to make any trades of Anthony Davis or Kyrie Irving. That is a signal of a fullon rebuild. Especially with Anthony Davis on a $54 million salary, you are going to be requiring to get many players back or a player you may not want, but they’re just overpaid. You may not get the draft capital back, but to make it work, you would have to then do trades with other teams. Another reason why this trade doesn’t work other than the salary, not well, the salary does match, but it’s the fact that we would be taking on an extra player. We don’t have the roster space to do a one for two trade. The the Timber Rules also don’t really have anybody that makes exactly $36 million as the Dallas Mavericks don’t really have a lot of relief in the salary cap area. There’s another player that a lot of Mavericks fans would want is Jade McDaniels. He’s Anthony Edwards right-hand man. One of the best role players on that team. Always comes up big for them. But there’s a problem there as well. The Timber don’t want to move Jay McDaniels at all. A report came out earlier this year showing that both Anthony Edwards and Jay McDaniels are considered untouchable in trade talks. And even over the summer when the Kevin Durant sweep stakes was just going across entire league. Everybody was trying to see if they could get KD. The Timberwolves are making Jay McDaniels untouchable in Kevin Durant talks. So, that right there shows you that we are going to be handcuffed. Come the trade deadline. We may not make a single move until the off seasonason, which in all reality would be the smart thing to do. Whether you want to tweak the roster to try to be competitive for next year, or if you want to go in a full-on rebuild, the best course of action should be over the summer. That way, you could get some players salary expiring. You free up some some cap space to make these trades. You free up some roster spots. One of the reasons why we haven’t signed Ryan Nhard is because we’re at 15 players. Thank you, Dante X and Nico Harrison. So, the Dallas Mavericks are in a very weird situation. If the Timberwolves are serious about trading for Kyrie Irving, unfortunately, it wouldn’t be until next summer or if we’re ready to make multiple trades with multiple teams and really just blow things up. But one of the main reasons why you don’t trade Kyrie Irving, other than the fact that a lot of fans love him here, he wants to be here, is Cooper Flag. We got this report just a few weeks ago saying that Kyrie Irving has turned into Cooper Flag’s personal coach. If you are to build for Cooper Flag, if you are to build around Cooper Flag for the future, you don’t want to take away players that can help him. And if Kyrie Irving helps Cooper Flag, even when Kyrie Irving isn’t playing, why would you trade him away? Why would you take away from Cooper Flag instead of giving him what he needs? And if Cooper Flag needs Kyrie Irving, even when he’s not healthy, just as a coach in the gym, and then eventually as someone on the floor, then you keep Kyrie Irving. You keep him for Cooper Flag. Overall, you have the number one pick and you get Cooper Flag. You need to build for Cooper Flag. And if you got to keep Kyrie, then you keep him. Let me know what you think in the comment section down below. Do you think that we should trade Kyrie Irving? Do you think we should keep Kyrie Irving? Would you want Julius Randle, Rob Dillingham, and some picks? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment section down below. We can have a conversation about it. But that’s all I got for you guys today. Thank you for watching the video. Make sure to check out our Twitter and Discord links in the description below. And as always, y’all take care, drink water, and take your medicine. I’ve been sick with the flu. I’m finally feeling better. I’m a little bit congested. Please be safe. Wash your hands. Drink water. Take your medicine. Peace.

  1. Ky loves Dallas. You don't trade him unless he requests a trade to a title contender.
Even if AD and Ky were to be traded, it's not a full on, blow-up the team, rebuild. We still have plenty of really good pieces around Coop. Gaff ( great contract ) , PJ ( great contract ), Max ( 3-D stud ) , Lively if he can ever stay healthy. Nembhard and BHigh PG duo. Plus the players and more importantly the salary cap room for FA's from trading AD and Ky.

  2. SMH Bro this 2 timeline thing from certain fans is stupid propaganda. What do you mean you cant do both? Why NOT? Of course you can rebuild and compete if not, answer this. In 98 the Spurs drafted their new face, Tim Duncan! in 97 D Robinson has a season ending injury. How come the Spurs didnt just trade D.Robinson, then state we cant do both compete and rebuild? They retooled came back and won the 99 NBA Championship. Then continued to draft players and won the 2003 nba Championship. Continued to draft players and won the 05 & 07 championship. Thats literally competing and rebuilding at the same time! They didnt need to trade David Robinson because of some fictitious "2 timeline" crap

  3. Mark Cuban traded the entire championship team after they won a championship.
    He hired Nico,
He let him fire Casey Smith
    He let him alienate Luka
He sold the team to casino gamblers
    He let them trade Luka
I have a no confidence vote in Cuban
    He has no limits

  4. They’re trying to stop our championship. They could do that by trading Kyrie. I hope he likes us as much as we like him. I like how he was chipping at Kobe Bryant when he first got out of high school about how he was better than Kobe. That’s some confidence right there. He’s a throwback to Kobe. And Kobe is my favorite basketball player just a little bit more than Michael Jordan and Klay Thompson. So I hope he stays because I’m a big fan. And I really wanna win this season and I think we can devastate the world with this team.

  5. You definitely lost all shame and will push any report that you know is BS just to post a crap video for views. Look around at all other reputable channels, podcast ect that cover the Mavs and care about their reputation and viewers and you'll see that none of them are making content around this stuff that everyone knows is fake.

But i guess you do you and be the National Inquirer of Mavs coverage. I guess someone has to be bottom of the barrel.
