  3. We lost not only Horton, but also Steele last season! How much as a team need to prepare for how many injuries! If you assume all worst case, you need to sign 6 all stars pitchers. You can’t build a team with that mind set of what ifs!
    Jed is doing a great job building a good and deep roster ! Just you can’t ask him to cover every possible bad scenario !! Like what if PCA Busch all regress ? What if Boyd can sustain, what if Shota is on the downward path? What if Horton pitch too many innings, what if Steele not back to his pre injury form, what if Taillon back to his old, what if injury happen to Swanson Nico Suzuki ….. you can always find what ifs ! But that’s not what you should think and put priority on when you construct a team! You build depth to cover injuries, but not try to cover for every possible injuries if you understand what I am saying!
