I know special teams sometimes get taken for granted, but there’s just something about having a kicker who gives you absolutely no doubt every single time. I’m not holding my breath or biting my nails in clutch time. The same way y’all see a TD and essentially count it as 7 because you aren’t paying attention to the PAT, that’s how I feel about field goals within 50 yards with Dicker the Kicker! Automatic

Kaeding walked so Dicker could run
Zero drama kicker.
Dude is clutch!
None of his kicks last night were even in question, straight down the effing middle.
Between him and 10, we got got some stone cold psychos to lead this team for a game winning drive.
That’s my Walter Payton man of the year 🥲
It still feels odd to not be nervous and in doubt about a game when it is all on the kicker to win or lose it. i’m barely remembering the stress that I felt for the few years before Dicker every time there was an opportunity for a game tying or winning field goal when I would be questioning the decisions to not go for it on forth and anything unless we were at the 25 or closer. Even Nate who I thought was great during the regular season didn’t inspire the confidence that I have now when we bring the field goal unit out. Now I’m questioning the coaches anytime I see us getting ready to punt on our side of the field. It’s such a good feeling.
Gotta give props to JK Scott, too. He has received some bad snaps but always places the ball perfectly.
St. Dicker the Kicker…
Stone cold and dependable
