Heat. Heat. N. Heat. Heat. They say 1967 was the last time we danced. Hoisting silver, hearts and trains. Since then, fate’s played a wicked game. But we wear the crest. We chant the name. Clear the track. Here comes Shack. Ellis and Keon going to take you back. I’m Horton fade nor the tragic Lenny McDonald trade. Paul Henderson with game goals. I’ve got 50 while Steve Thomas reloads. Sila lit the night with 10 turnb fired five from the back end. Clark through thunder. Gilmore spun gold. Sundance stood tall. Brave and bold. Cooja claw saves from the jaws of defeat. Salmon’s epic rushes pure relief. Rhymer cried. We cried too. Matthews came and hopefelt new. Mono weaves now. Lander flies. Riley’s rushing electrifies which is gone. We wish him well. Nine steps up. Time will tell. Johnny T still going strong. Maybe this year things won’t go wrong. We’ve seen the ghost. We felt the pain. But every April we rise again. Son of a I’m a fan when bre’s high stick. went unseen. When Montreal crushed our playoff dream, when Boston came back from 4-1 down, we wore the blue, we bought the frown. Son of a I’m a Leaf fan. Through balance, chaos, through sun and tears, through decades of drought, through wasted years. But loyalty, that’s our brand. We stand, we chant, we clap our hands, we bleed the white, we wear the blue, we dream of what we’re born to do. Raise that cup parade the street. Make believes our hearts still beat. So kill the music, strike the cord. This ain’t just hockey, it’s folklore. From Carlson’s grin to legends past leaf forever built to last. Son of a piss. I’m a leaf fan. And when fate knocks us out again, we’ll sing this verse. We feel the pain. Because every year we play the game. As we fans, we all like to thank Joe B for all the calls he made. Maybe this year he’ll call a cup as league fans. You know, we’ll never give up. We’ll never give up. Never give up. Never give up. Let’s win. Let’s go. Let’s win that. What’s up, hockey fans? Oh my god, there is more pregame still coming up. That is craziness. This uh this prime stuff is uh is wicked, let me tell you. Absolutely insane. All right, players are on the ice. Braden Point, they got the camera on him. He’s making his return into the lineup for the Lightning. He always seems to have the Leafs number. One of the better players for the Lightning. There’s showing a shot of Victor Hedman now of our Toronto Maple Leafs captain Austin Matthews. Come on, Maddie. Time to get some points tonight. And we’re ready for the faceoff. Easton Cowan on the ice. John Tavvaris and Willie Knander will get us started on the ice tonight. Ah, that’s a good one. There you go. Sounds good. The godfather friend of Rocky 9804 handle that. Now that they’ve switched to these handles here, faceoff is won by the Leafs. Oel sends it down the ice and Emil Leberg picks it up for the Lightning. Tries to clear it out and it hits Ken in the equipment. Luckily, it was in like the chest area or the arm. Man, that looked like it was close to being another Brian Bard type play. Remember that? That that man, geez, that was a sad moment in uh in Leafs history. Here is uh here’s the puck being played up the boards by John Tavvaris. It’s picked up by the Lightning. And here comes Yanni Gourd. Gourd drops it back to reset for the Lightning into their own end. He’ll go back behind Johansson, the goalie. Moser with the puck, sends it up to his left side for a streaking Cooerov. Cooerov back on the ice for the first time in a while. And they’ll go offside as Austin Matthews grabs the puck and flips it up to the referee, the linesman toh get us back going as they show the camera on Dennis Hilde. What a job Dennis Hildabby has done for the Leafs coming in uh so far. I mean, he’s played he’s played great. Being a rookie, I think he’s done real well. Made 33 saves in each of his last three starts. Can’t complain about that. Here’s a pass into the zone by Austin Matthews. He turns now. Doi chases. Doi back against the boards against Moser. Moser comes out with the puck. The Lightning will break free in across the blue line. Number 71, Anthony Cerelli. Celli sends it up the ice and it’s intercepted there by the Leafs and shot all the way down for an icing. The Leafs with the icing and now we’ll have a faceoff back in the Leafs defensive end. All right, let’s get this thing uh refreshed for those stats there so we can pull those stats up. I should probably get my uh my NHL stats up, too. There it is. Boom. Always just defaults to the last game. No, no, no, no. Wait a minute. Properties. Come on now. There it is. Boom. All right, we’re in business there with the stats up and the Lightning with a little bit of pressure here. 1810 left in the first period, but Nick Wall is there to take it away and send it up the boards to Matthew N. Nise can’t quite get it cleared. It’ll drop back to Morgan Riley and he’ll skate forward with some clean ice ahead of him. He’ll dump it in for the Leafs to chase, but the Lightning will send the puck up into the middle for Braden Point to cross into the Leafs defensive end. Now Oel grabs the puck in the corner, sends it over to Bobby McMahon. McMahon lifts a long pass looking for a streaking Dakota Joshua, but it is intercepted there by the Lightning. And a good chance out in front as it’s set in front by number 22 Oliver Bjorkstrand. And no shot can be gotten by the uh by the Lightning player there as the Leafs will break it up. Lorent and Lton out in the ice with Dakota Joshua. OEL nice defensive play out in front and now Dakota Joshua will get it out of the zone. He sends it to the right for Lton. He’ll send it in further for the line change and the buds will go off for the line change. All right, here come the Lightning. Twoonone opportunity set back and what a save by Hillby. The puck is still loose as uh John Tavvaris and a couple who’s that 37 Yanni Gourd going after it. Looked like maybe Hildy had the puck covered and made a great save though on a twoon-one chance there by the Lightning as Mermis lost his stick. Man, oh man. And Homeberg gets it across and what a chance there Jurgensen with Jurgensson’s with with the chance there for the Lightning. Couple of these new names here. I’m not not used to these names for the uh for the Lightning. 1644 left in the first period. We are underway. Thank you all for being here. Please hit that like button if you have not done so yet. This will be your friendly reminder. And oh, there it is. Richard Fer with the super chat. My man, thank you for the amazing support, Richard. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. So much appreciated, my man. You are the bomb, Richard. All right, here is the Leafs sending it in on Johansson. He’ll play it back behind the net. Turns it right over though to Yarn Crook and he tries to pass over to Lton. now sent out in front and there’s a save made by Johansson number 31 of the Lightning. Scott Lton looking dangerous so far tonight. Liking what I’m seeing out of this fourth line here with Cali Arnrook, Lton, and Lorent. All right, so we’ll have a faceoff coming up here. Leafs, one of their strong points. And this one is won by the Lightning as of course I had to talk about it, right? But the Leafs turn it back over. Riley at the point misplays it. And now the Lightning will streak forward. Here’s Brendan. Braden Point. Point sends it out to Radish. Radish tries to return past the point, but it’s intercepted there by the Leafs. Here’s Willie Knander. Circles back around the faceoff circle and sends it forward to Tavaris. Tavvaris shot blocked. Nice block there by number 90 JJ Moser of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Here comes Moser across the blue line and into the Leaf zone. Homeberg with the puck for the Lightning as the Lightning make the change. And now we’ll come into the zone. Here’s a shot right in on Hill toy. Rebound out in front. Shot. How is this puck not gone in the net gets behind Hillby, but it’s cleared off the line and sent forward looking for Matthew Ny. Will it be icing? It is as nice didn’t get a uh get a stick to it. But a great play by Stcher to clear it off of the line and the Lightning are getting close, man. Oh man. Support Mike. If you can like, subscribe, and chat. Love it. Richard, thank you my man. Thank you so much for your amazing support here on the channel and getting everybody going. I love it. We are rocking and rolling tonight. Leafs and the Lightning tied at zero just a couple minutes in. There it is. Now we got the chatbot working. I love it. All right. Come on now. There’s Brian Burns in the house with the super chat as well. Thank you, Brian Burns. Much appreciated for the support. I love it. Let’s get that super chat train rolling tonight. Love it. Love it. Love it. All right, here come the Leafs now. Matthew NY looking out in front and it’s taken away by Radish and the Lightning. Long pass forward gets deflected by the Lightning and all the way down to the Leaf’s End. Sent in front there for the Lightning. Here’s a chance. Shot saved by Hildabby. Man, this guy is playing tonight. Here’s another shot by Cooerov from the side from the right side and it’s saved again. Another pass in the middle. Hildabby gets a piece of it. Leafs. Can they clear? Here’s McCabe right in front of the net. McCabe sends it up the boards and Austin Matthews just chips it over and will stretch the pass down into the Leafs end for a slight line change. But looks like the Lightning are going to catch the Leafs and the extra pass by Jake Gensel. And that could have been one nothing Lightning. Oh man, there you go. Focus on playbyplay if you play by play if you can. Doing fine. Audio and video is good. Thank you, Richard. Much appreciated. Here is Nick Wah coming into the offensive end for the Leafs. Sends it back to the point for Benois. Benois shot goes wide. Pass back. There’s Ben Wisa. Shoots again into the glove of Johansson. And at least another shot there for the Leafs as the shots are 7-3 for the Lightning so far in this one. Chris Pard in the house. Go Leafs. Go. Great to see you, Chris. Love it. Turn up the radio. I need some music. Give me some more. I love it. I wish we could turn up the radio, Mr. Robboto. Wish we could. Big jam roll. 36 likes. is 36 likes short 100%. Let’s go. Hit that like button. We really, really do appreciate it. We’re up at 108,000. Just insane how it’s rolling. But I I got to got to keep that sub counter off of there for right now. I just can’t. Uh we’re we’re rolling. We’re kicking back up. We’re starting to pick a few more back up. But that World Series dip was crazy. Crazy. Where’s the eyeballs? Let’s go with the eyeballs in the chat. Love it. There’s Gerald from England. Let’s go. Guaranteed shutout night, man. I hope so, Steph. I hope so. That would be something. All right, here we go. Leafs going to be playing some defense here is what it looks like cuz man, Lightning are uh Lightning are playing well. Let us know how you think the uh how you think the Leafs are playing. How’s the uh Leafs start tonight? Are they flying just okay? Is it a slow start or wakeup call needed? We’ve got 35% have voted flying, 26% just okay, 25% wakeup call needed. And uh I’m I’m at just okay only because it’s 000. But we are really close to that wakeup call needed. Uh because let me tell you, the Lightning are getting some great chances here. But Hildabby has played extremely extremely well. The World Series hangover. You know it, man. You know it. You know it. All right. Leafs with a shot and it’s saved by Johansson off the faceoff and we’ll do it again. Shots are eight to four. Leafs have been doubled up. Hey Angus, what’s up man? Good to see you Angus. Here’s Riley as the Leafs win another faceoff. tries to get the puck down behind the goal to Tavvaris and he is successful but Yanni Gourd breaks it up for the Lightning and now will send it out into the neutral zone. Leafs take the puck back in their own end. Morgan Riley sends it forward and will it be icing? No. Tvaris just beats the play, but the Lightning get to the puck first. The Lightning skate the puck up the ice, drop it into the Leaf zone, and that’s where it’ll be turned back over to the Maple Leafs. Here comes Eastston Cowan down the left side. He’ll dump it, chase it himself, and then continue the pass around. Now gets it into the middle behind the net and it’s taken back by the Lightning. Here comes Yanni Gourd across the blue line. His shot into the chest of Hilde and then he skates right into Hildy and McCabe is not having any part of that. He says, “Co Oh, young man.” Grabbed him by the back of the neck and gave him a little push. Gave him a little push down to the ground there. says, “Son, you’re not going to you’re not going to do that to my goalie. Not here. Not today.” I love it. I love it. There’s their showing on Prime. They’re showing some of East Cowan’s highlights, man. Oh, man. East Cowan. Love that guy. Got to send him a uh got to get him back on the show here for sure now that he’s on the big the big squad, right? All right. So, uh, coaches talking there to Tavvaris Cowan and Knander as they hit the bench. 1228 left this season. Easton Cowan’s got eight points, three goals, and five assists in 20 games. Not bad for your first 20 games in the NHL. He’s getting there. All right, here comes a pass out front for the Lightning. It’s shot back from the point and another save there by Hildabby. Love it. Love it. Love it. Let’s go, boys. Let’s go. Let’s get a goal here. Who do we think’s going to break the uh break the deadlock for the Leafs? I’m going with Matthew Ny. I’m thinking Matthew N is going to get the first goal for the Leafs. That’s right, Richard. You are spot on. The Buds fight for each other. Absolutely they do. They uh McMahon was not dealing with any of that over there. Neither was McCabe. I love it. Here’s the faceoff. and Stetcher launches it up the ice, but it’s picked up at the blue line by the Lightning. And uh then McCabe hits from behind and takes the puck away and sends it up the ice looking for McMahon, but it is over his stick and the Lightning take it back. Here’s Cooerov. Sends it to the far side now. Back to the middle. Ooh, no shot got off there. But Brandon Hegel, who’s been on fire for the Lightning, he is getting close to breaking one here. We don’t need that. Let’s raise up that faceoff percentage. Hey, get it up as high as it can go, Andrew. 100%. Go Leafs. Go Richard. Let’s get that chant going as there’s another shot from the far left side and it goes wide of our goalie Hildabby and the Leafs will send it up the ice and try and get something going on the attack. Here is Lorent. Lorent plays it around the boards and Lton will pick it up back at the point. Sends it back looking for Lorent. And now the Lightning have it. Number 20 Nick Paul with the puck for the Lightning. He sends it up the ice and streaks towards the goal. He gets a stick on the pass in front, but it goes just wide. Go Leafs. Go. I love it. Here we go. Come on, buds. We got to turn this around. Let’s get a good chance and uh start turning this around here. Seems like the Lightning have had good possession and good pressure over the last few minutes as Paul passes it further back to the point and the shot is saved by Hildabby. The 10th shot of the evening for the Lightning. Man, oh man, these guys are uh these guys are lighting it up even though they haven’t given the 10th shot yet. I don’t know how that isn’t called a shot, but we’ll see. We’ll see. 000 in this one. 10:34. We are halfway through the first period and uh the Leafs and the Lightning getting chirpy again. Couple players getting uh getting some words into each other. We might have ourselves a fight here in a few minutes. Uh is what I’m what I’m seeing. You know it, Richard. You know it, man. Best community on the internet. So great to see everybody again. Speaking of that, Nick, how you doing? Nick Bezanon, great to see you. All right, here’s Oel and uh is that now going there? Couple. We got just the Lightning player going to the box or are they going to send a leaf, too? So, Jack Finley and Oel were having some words. And then looks like uh Finley just comes up and grabs Oel as he’s skating to the bench. So, looks like our Leafs are going to be on the power play. And here we go. I love it. Let’s go. Let’s get a goal right here. And oh man, look at that. He’s bleeding. Is this four? punched him in the mouth. Now he’s bleeding. Unsportsmanlike conduct for Jack Finley. A minor two-minute minor as now they’re explaining it to Cooper, the head coach for the Lightning. 85th minute. Bzansen. Nick Bzansen. I’m never going to remember that, but thank you. Appreciate it. Hope I got it right this time. Hopefully. Here’s a shot from the point. And it’s blocked by the Lightning. Willie Knander will go back to grab it. Pass it up to Morgan Riley who builds speed coming up through his own end. Now he sends it back to Willie Knander. Knander passes the blue line, lifts it up to Ny. Ny sends it across the boards over for John Tvarez. He gets just a piece of it and it goes out to the center ice where the Lightning will clear the puck as Riley goes back to get it behind Hilde. Riley, good pressure there by Yanni Gourd and Willie Knander to the right side for Tvaris. Tvaris sends it back behind the net. The Leafs cannot get anything set up at the moment. Riley cannot hold the puck in at the point and they will have to reset. Shots now 11 to4 for the Lightning. The Leafs on the power play and they come in the zone offside. Dude, this power play is looking ugly right now. Looking ugly. Jeeez Louise. Big jam. The E is silent. Most people get frazzled with the Z. Yeah. I mean, do you with my last name, dude? It’s awful. Yeah. Where is Lisa? Hey, there’s uh there’s Mark Dagel. How you doing, Mark? Cheers, my man. Good to see you, Mark. Miss anything important? Nothing yet. Nothing yet. 11 to four of the shots for the Lightning. And uh it is a bit of a slow start, says Andrew there. Agreed. Agreed. Um yeah, where is Lisa? Where is Lisa? Glad to be back here. Go Leafs go. Glad Glad to have you back, Nick. Glad to have you back. All right, here is the Leafs with the about 30 seconds left in the power play. Eastston Cowan at the point. Sends it back to Oliver Ecan Larson. His shot from the point is gloved by Johansson and then drops it but covers it back up for the faceoff. So Oel drawing that penalty keeping the puck in at the point. A great shot. Almost got the deflection. Nick Wah almost had it there right before uh the goalie got his glove to it. 20 points in 28 games played this season for OAL. Uh he’s on pace for his career high, which is crazy. You want to talk about a resurgence? That man is playing unbelievable right now. Uh I don’t expect him to keep this uh keep this this pace going, but you never know. Maybe he will. All right, Leafs bringing it back up the ice. Here’s Oel with it at the point. Sends it over to the left side for Doi. Doi cross ice for Cowan. Cowan back to Oel. Now back to Doi. Doi right in front. Back to Cowan. His shot saved. What a save by Johansson. Man, that was an unbelievable chance there for the Leafs. But Johansson making the save. Man, what a great save there by Johansson. Yes, Hildabby is a positive wall. Hillbe is playing great. And uh man oh man, thank goodness for him because uh yeah, we need we need a Leaf’s goal or a fight. Let’s go, Richard. Yes, that that would be beautiful. I would love to see a fight right now or a Leaf’s goal. I’ll take either one. But uh man, man, something to get us going. I need a coffee. I am yawning. I need a coffee and that will be my that’ll be my intermission uh treat for sure. But uh stats so far faceoff circle Leafs doing all right. A little bit little bit little bit better than uh 50% but not as good as they usually are over 60 with John Tvaris usually is just rocking and rolling. But uh my channel for hometown hockey. Good to see you Jason Robertson. Thank you so much for being here. Go Leafs, go. We need a goal here. We need a goal, buds. It’s time for our Leafs to start getting some shots on net. I’m sick of being doubled up on shots on goal. Every single game, it seems like that is the case. All right, here we go. What’s up, Mr. Mike? Jose Dwarte. Good to see you, Jose. Living the dream, man. Living the dream. Busy day today. Got lots of stuff taken care of at work. Got the kids to sports. TSI Allison’s picking them up and uh just, you know, living it up, man. H having a great day. We’ve got True over on SOP Soccer uh doing the uh live stream over on uh on Sons of a Pitch Soccer for EFC. We’ll have to put the link out for that as well. Where’s that uh got to get that link going. Nope, not that one. Share, copy link. There we go. All right. So, that link there is the uh link to my other channel there. Oh, who is Oh, someone else is you and Joe using Joe Bowen’s commentary on their channel. Who’s that? Jose, who’s that? I know Connor was uh was doing the games, but he uh he ended up having to uh had something happened with the PWHL and the Scepters there the other day. But uh let me know what uh what you man. Yep. You support Sons of a Pitch. He’s a member there, Richard. Appreciate it. Skywalking in the house. What’s up, Skywalking? How you doing, man? Good to see you. Good to see you. All right, here come the uh Lightning into the zone. Radish up the point and the save made by Hilde and he will hold on. We’ll have another face off with 802 left in the first. Man, Hildabby looking good. Looking good. Frozen fruit cocktail will wake you up. There you go. There you go. Not much. How about you? Living the dream, man. Living the dream. Yeah. slow start at uh the flying is in the lead in the poll, but uh I think uh just okay or possibly wakeup call needed is is I’m leaning more towards wakeup call needed. Um we got to get some more shots on goal. We’re we’re right now we shouldn’t be in this game. Hillbe has made a bunch of great saves and uh there’s another save off of the faceoff. Um just keep on adding the shots the shots on goal, man. Oh man. Go Leafs. Go. Go Leafs. Go. The Leafs with possession of the puck. Here is Nick Wah trying to get it out of the defensive end. And it’s kept back in by the Lightning. Celli at the point. And now the Leafs finally get it up and over to Scott Lton. Lton hits up for Lorent. Lorent looks back to Scott Lton and he can’t get it back to him as the Lightning will skate out with the puck. Here comes number 38 Brandon Hegel. Got to keep an eye on him. He’s been hot lately for the Lightning. Their leading scorer with uh with Cooerov and point out of the lineup. And here’s Dastius Dastius. I don’t even know how to say that guy’s name. My pronunciations are not good. I will just uh I will admit that right off the bat that is my one of my uh well not one of my strong points. All right, here is Eastston Cowan chasing it down getting to the puck here in his own corner. Sends it back to Riley. Riley over to Tvarz and Tovarz tries to find Knander but is picked off by the Lightning and they get another great chance. Another shot there by Holberg and that’s saved by Hildy. Tvaris with it now. goes behind the net trying to get the puck out of the zone. Sends it over to Oel and Oel will look back to Morgan Riley. Riley back to Oel. Oel sends it up the ice and it’s not on the stick of Robertson as he can’t hold on to it and the Lightning will break it into the zone. Bjorkstrand with some pressure and the Leafs will send it down the ice. Liilberg with the pickup for the Lightning. Sends it over to Borkstrand. Borkstrand takes a couple hits from Dakota Joshua and McMahon. And now the puck goes down into the Leafs offensive end. The Lightning send it all the way down. This will be icing and Benois goes back to touchup. And with 551 left, the Leafs will have a faceoff in the offensive end. Chris Tanv was on the ice this morning. So that’s a good sign. He was skating looking good in the uh the highlight that they’re showing showing him up in the box there. So that will be a welcomed addition back to uh back to the team. My goodness. CK, what? Guys, I just had my second kid. Well, congratulations. Congratulations, CK. The the game is totally different now, buddy. Totally different. Let’s go. Goal for Na. Please, says Dr. Dri. Great to see you, Dr. Dri. Here’s Max Doi. Sends it down the ice and chases it, but Radish is going to get there first for the Lightning. Radish takes it to the right side, looks forward, and finds number 38. Brandon Hegel. Hegel brings it into the zone on the right side. He lays it back to the point. Shot saved by Hildy. Another one. This guy is just killing it. There you go. Richard says, “Congratulations to CK.” I love it. Here is Cooerov and Stcher. Stcher breaks it up, pushes it into the corner, and now Stetcher will come out with it. There’s another super chat from the man, the myth, the legend, Richard Fer. Thank you, sir, for the amazing support. My goodness, these super chats, guys, they’re so important. They keep us going. That’s what it’s about. That’s really keeping us going right now. Cheers to all of you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All right, here we go. 49 likes on the stream as well, says CK. We’re right there. Who’s going to be number 50? Don’t wait. Don’t wait. Just do it now. It’s a lot It’s a lot easier to just just take care of it and hit it. Hit it right now. All right, here we go. Lton in the corner. Sends it around. Mermis keeps it in at the far side. Lton behind the net. Puck skips around there, but Lton can’t get a great shot off. Here come the Lightning. 401 left in the first period. It’s been a slightly edged period to the Lightning. They’ve had the better chances. Here’s another shot from the point. And now here comes Lorent. He’ll send it up the boards and go off for a change. Here’s Cowan. Cowan sends it up to Tvaris. Tvaris drops it back to East Cowan. Sends it into the middle. Blocked. Riley scores. What a silly play, but it’s a goal. Mike St. Jean, you got it. Number 44, Morgan Riley with the goal and the Leafs are up one- nothing. Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. Right when I was saying that the Lightning had the edge, the Leafs get the puck and let’s go. Yes. Woo! Woo! Let’s go. Good evening to you, Jonathan Scott. Great to see you. Love it. Love it. Love it. Super chat challenge. Blue wrenches. Let’s see how many more super chats we’re going to get tonight. Look at that super chat by Richard. And we’ve got a goal almost instantaneously. I love it with the bell. Let’s go. Time to have some fun here. Leafs get the lead on a silly little play here, but somehow the puck falls back to Riley and he gets it home and we are up one- nothing even though we’re being doubled up in shots. 15 to8. What the heck? Six more says Robboto to get that uh to get that uh prediction right. There you go. Oh, I got to put my prediction in the chat. So, uh what’ I say? 5 to3 was my uh prediction. Right. Was it 5-3? Yeah, 5-3. Or was it 52? It was 53. Pretty sure it was 5-3. I’m going to go 5-3 Leafs. Here’s a chance now for the Lightning sending it down on net, but it just goes wide and the Lightning will have to reset back out at center ice. Now broken up by Tavvarz. Tavvarz sends it in on net. Willie Knander chases. He’s going after the puck and a couple Lightning players trying to free the puck up from the boards, but it’s picked back up by Dakota Joshua. Joshua on the near side boards, lifts it behind the net and it’s broken up there by the Lightning. Now sent into the middle and here comes Gourd. Gourd sends it out but kept in by Stetcher. He does not let the puck cross the blue line and the Leafs will have another chance. Here’s Nick Wah behind the net with speed. Sends back to the point for Ster. His shot goes in off the pad of Johansson and Nick Wall almost had a rebound. But now here’s the pass from the point out to the far side circle and it’s saved and will go out of play for a whistle. The Leafs with the one nothing lead. The goal from the defense. Morgan Riley getting the goal. Let’s go. Go Leafs. Go Richard. I love it. Guaranteed shutout night. Mr. Robboto says, “Yep, I’m down with that.” I would love a shout out tonight. So far so good for Mr. Dennis Hilderby, who is uh playing great tonight. Playing awesome. The Leafs being doubled up. Almost almost doubled up. My math’s not that bad, but uh we’ve got 15 to eight. Johnny is not happy. John is loud right now, but uh man. All right, so how’s everybody feeling tonight? What are we drinking? Let us know in the chat what you’re drinking. Let us know where you’re watching from. Let us know where you’re watching from. Uh all over the world. We’ve got uh we’ve got people hanging out with us. Let us know in the chat. And uh hit that like button, share this link out, do all those fun YouTube things. And uh let’s go. Let’s go. All right. Just a uh another note here. Uh help support the channel by uh clicking on this link that I’m sending out here in the uh in the chat. That is our soccer channel, Sons of a Pitch Soccer Central. That is actually where the YouTube dream started. And uh SOP True is live playing Champs. He is 9 and0 in Champs. That is absolutely insane. So get on it, click that link, and go say what’s up to True during the intermission that we’re going to need need everybody in here to head over to that one during intermission because uh True needs everybody cheering him on to get that 15-0 champs rank one. He is 9-0 up 6-4 in the 85th minute right now. I got True on this TV. I got the Leafs on this TV. It’s just awesome. So, thank you for supporting G6 Entertainment and uh Toronto Sports Insider is much much appreciated. Canadian Club Water and Cubes. Nice. Richard Fer, I’m about to have some Blackberry Crown and Dr. Pepper here in uh in a little bit, but coffee first. Got to have some coffee cuz I’m I’m ready for the coffee. All right, Leafs picking up the puck in their own end. Oel sends it forward to NY. denies his pass up for Matthews. Goes a little too far, but now it finds the stick of Austin Matthews. Back to the point for Oel. His shot saved by Johansson and sent back all the way down to the Leafs end as Oel will move the puck forward. Sends it up to NY, but it’s broken up there by the Hurricane. The Hurricanes, the Lightning, Anthony Cerelli breaking it up. And there you go. True is 10 and0 now. I love it. True. Keep up the good work, man. All right, we’ve got uh number 24. Who’s number 24 for the Lightning? He’s not even listed on the roster that I’m working with here. What is this business, man? All right, here is Lorent and then Scott Lton putting some pressure there. You know it. You know it. Here’s Yarn Crook. Yarn Crook passes up to Lorent. Now back. Here’s Stetcher. Stcher over to McCabe. McCabe and the Leafs getting ready to rush for the last 50 seconds of the first period. sends it up and Moser breaks it up for the Lightning. Jack Finley lifts the puck out to center ice and a chance there for the Lightning. Good shot by number 22 Borkstrand, but it is another save from Hilderby. And uh now Eastston Kellen will send it in and it goes right on to Johansson who loses the puck momentarily but after the whistle was blown and we will have another break in the action. All right, so they’re showing the uh gate five live there at Scotia Bank Arena. Who do they got there for the uh the prime the prime broadcast tonight? All right, here comes the faceoff. 25 seconds left. All right, Eastston Cowan sends it in to the Leafs end and they’ll go off for the change. Radish behind the net for the Lightning looking for one last uh one last push. Radish sends it forward and that will go too far but won’t be icing. It’s set back out in front but broken up there by the Leafs. And that’ll do it for the first Crown Royal off the shelves. Oh yeah. Ah, okay. Is it up there in Canada? They taking it off the shelves. Isn’t Isn’t Crown Royal Canadian? What the hell? Where’s it? Where’s the uh Where’s it distilled out of? Where are they? Oh, yeah. Imported by the Roy the Crown Royal Company, New York, New York. Interesting. Product of Canada. Wait, what? So, product of Canada, but nah. Come on now. I don’t I don’t get it. I don’t get it. All right. Here we go. Like, join, share, and subscribe. Mention in your other channels, and support any way you can. You know it. I don’t know if you remember me, but hi, it’s Isaac. I do remember you, Isaac. I remember almost everybody in the chat. That is just uh one thing I just am good at. But uh man, great to see you, Isaac. And uh let’s go. We’ve got the uh the intermission here coming up. I need to make a coffee. Um so I’ll probably make a coffee and a cocktail. That’ll be interesting. Um, but make sure to go check out True Playing Champs over on SOP right now. Head over there for intermission. Make sure you say a chat in there. Say hi to uh say hi to True. Make sure you just light up that YouTube chat. Let’s go say what’s up to him. Get him distracted. He looks like he’s in a good game right now at 10 and0 with uh with a with a good team. All right, I’ll be back with that drink. Cheers everybody. Time for some waterfall and some zen. And we’ll see you in a few minutes. Thanks for watching Toronto Sports Insider. It is intermission. Going to leave you with some peace and tranquility of nature. Much better than that background music, eh? Thanks for watching Toronto Sports Insider. It is intermission. Going to leave you with some peace and tranquility of nature. Much better than that background music. Eh, thanks for watching Toronto Sports Insider. It is intermission. Gonna leave you with some peace and tranquility of nature. Much better than that background music. Eh. Thanks for watching Toronto Sports Insider. It is intermission. Going to leave you with some peace and train. Whoa. No goal. It’s intermission. It’s intermission. Man, that uh that little 30 uh clip there. Jeez. Change the score. Yeah. What the heck? Why? What is this? Change the scoreboard. You’re not kidding. Why? Why is Yahoo not showing up? But the other one is. What is this business? One. It should be one- nothing Leafs. Maybe we’ll try refreshing it. See? Nope. It’s just not They’re not Yahoo is just uh not giving any love. All right, so we got the coffee ready to go from our nice little Montana mug. All right, change the scoreboard. Thank you. Thank you. I’ll try. I’ll try. I’ll I’ll message Yahoo and try and get him to change the uh scoreboard. But man, what a uh what a start for the Leafs. Not Not a great start at all. um ends up that they’re 50/50 in the faceoff circle, which is very unlike the Maple Leafs. Um but overall just wasn’t a great period of hockey right until the end uh when they broke free and got that that one goal. Um, but man, I mean, just not you look at the shots again. We were getting doubled up right there again up until the end of the period, which is when Morgan Riley broke and broke that lucky little chance there and skated around and put the puck in behind the goalie Johansson. U, outside of that, it was all Tampa Bay Lightning from from my perspective. Uh, the Leafs were getting just uh were getting beat up, but hey, they’re uh they’re up one- nothing, and that’s how it goes sometimes. That’s how the game goes sometimes. So, uh, you got to love it. You got to love it. It’s, uh, it’s it’s a lot like soccer to me. I like that. Like soccer sometimes you’re the team that’s not supposed to win wins. It’s how it works. But usually in hockey it doesn’t work out like that because there’s more scoring than you get in uh in soccer. But uh overall the the Lightning tonight looking looking strong with their new additions back to their lineup in Braden Point and Nikita Cucherov. Two guys who have burned the Leafs many many times. All right, let’s see. Let’s put a different uh put a different poll up here. Sarah. Oh, these Oh, these lights. Dad, what? Yeah, they’re bright, huh? Can I have my phone at mental health? Avery, talk to your mother. I already did. She said, “Talk to your father.” Oh, well, maybe. I hate to turn Will you turn that off for me? The heater there. Thanks. And then, yeah, that’s fine, I guess, for a little bit. Just don’t tell Tom. It’s plugged in on my nightstand. All right, let’s change the poll here. What needs to change in the second period for the Leafs? Because this uh got a different poll for each period here. Um the second More for check line changes, better defense, or more urgency. All right, there you go. Mr. Robboto says, “Much better on the nerves when I can’t see.” Hey, yeah, it uh it it probably it’d be a lot a lot easier on the nerves that way, man. Oh, man. All right, Steph, take it easy, my man. We’ll see you soon. Have a good one. Thanks for being here, chatting it up, dude. And uh hope you and the fam are doing great. Cheers, buddy. Waza, let’s go. Let’s go. Time to uh time to get it going here for the Leafs in the second period. Time to build on that uh build on that one- nothing start, even though uh good old uh scoring summary is showing up there for the uh the Yahoo, but not not the score change at the top. All right, so we’ll just uh for now, we’ll just take that off because It’s not uh it’s not showing up right. All right, so one- nothing buds at the end of the first period. They got about uh 30 seconds or so till the players get back out on the ice for the second period. Should be uh a solid second period for our Leafs. They’ve been turning around. They on that dip. We are just getting crushed in the second period and they’re starting to get a little bit better in the second and uh trying to turn that stat around. Hopefully we turn it around even more this time and uh get a few goals, two or three goals in this second period and uh just put this game to bed early. That would be nice. That would be nice. Um yeah, roll a doobie, Mr. Mr. Robboto. I would love I would love that. Yes. There. Say say no to drugs, kids. Say no to drugs. But that’s not that’s not Hey, marijuana is legal now, right? So, what what’s the uh what’s it for most people, right? For most people. So, there’s that. I don’t know if we can uh I don’t know if we can consider that. I actually just had a homegrown gummy um when I was upstairs making the coffee. So, cheers to the uh the gummy. Should is this sinks out to around 40 milligrams actually. So, it should be an interesting second period. Let’s go. Oh, man. So, so far in the poll there, we’ve got more urgency 38% and more forch check 31%. All right, I love it. Getting uh getting some ideas from the chat and the poll. All right. Come on. I’m sick of these commercials. I wanted this game back underway. I am excited to get this going. We’re up to 61 likes on the stream. 61. Let’s go. Time to get break. We’re breaking 100 easy tonight. Easy tonight. All right. All right. Let’s uh let’s try the uh No, I don’t know if I want to do that one. Yeah. All right. So, we’re still waiting on this second period to start back up. The Leafs, they still haven’t updated the uh the score on Yahoo. I I cannot even believe it. Um but we’ll show you here on this one. Um, look at this. So, they’ve got the scoring summary there as you can see. Um, right there. Scoring summary 000 1626 Morgan Riley from Eastston and John. Why is it showing you zero? Why? I don’t get it. I don’t get it. Help me understand. and Leafs Nation, help me understand why they would do this. Um, man, oh man. All right, pull that back to the side there. Scroll up to the goalie stats where we had it and we are back underway. Scotia Bank Arena shots 1511. Leafs get us started here. Can they get the first shot on goal? Sends it up the ice. Eastston Cowan chasing, but it’s picked up by the Lightning. Here’s Yanni Gourd. Gourd sends it to the far side for Holberg. Homeberg tries to return the pass into the middle. It goes just wide of the net and intercepted in the slot by Willie Knander. He will just lay it slightly down towards the goalie. Will it go for icing? No. But the Leafs go off for a change. I don’t know why the goalie was holding his arm up like he wanted the light the icing call. He must not have been able to see it. But uh here comes the lightning. Dashius with the puck. Sends it forward to the right side and Radish will look for the shot. He goes across the ice to Celli and it’s broken up by the Buds. Nice play there by Matthew N putting some pressure on JJ Moser. And here come the Leafs. Austin Matthews tries to get his shot off. He does. gets a second shot off as well. Both pad saves by Johansson. Here comes Moser and the Lightning breaking it up out of the off at the defensive end. Here’s Cvelli. Shot saved by Hillby with 1835 to go in the second period. Anthony Cerelli. Nice shot there. And uh man, what a uh what a play there. Homeberg got a great chance out into the middle and uh man just laid it right to the side of the net for Gurgensson’s and he could not put it home. But Matthews getting two pad saves out of Johansson almost. We just needed to get it up a little bit and would have been through. Man, why is this score not updating? Still showing 00 over there. That’s crazy. All right, I got to get the scoreboard up here. So, what we’re going to do is we’re going to do this AI score. There it is. All right, one nothing Leafs. We’ll leave it like this until uh the score updates for me over here where I can see it. All right, here comes Nick Paul for the Lightning. He sends it over to the left side. broken up there by Dakota Joshua. Joshua for the Leafs sends it far side for Nick Benois. Simone Benois over to Nick Wah. Wah crosses the blue line and there’s four white shirts as Finley goes back to get it. Sends it up the the ice to Bork Borkstrand. His pass too far and now Morgan Riley will have it for the Leafs. He’ll send it up the ice. It hits off the uh the bench door and uh kind of slots into the center ice where it’s picked up by Yarn Crook. He’ll turn and take a long shot that goes wide. He’ll get his own rebound. And what a chance for Yarn Crook. He takes a shot and a glove save by Johansson. What a grab to keep this game one- nothing. Oo, that was close. That was real, real close. What a chance there for Yarn Crook. One-on-one goes for the right side top bins and it’s just grabbed out of the air by Johansson. Great glove save, man. Dang. All right, Leafs. Here we go. Let’s go. Let’s get another one. Faceoff is won by the Lightning and sent down the ice. Tvaris, though, grabs it with his glove and drops it down. But here comes the Lightning. Yanni Gourd sends back to the point. It’s misplayed there by Dastius. And here’s a pass up to Willie Knander. Now back to Tvaris. He shoots and hits the post. Posting out. Tvaris again blocked by the Lightning. Now at the point for Riley. Riley over to Oel. And the Leafs are trying to add to their one- nothing lead. Sent down low for East Cowan. He misplays it. And it’ll be picked up by the Lightning. And the Leafs will go off for a change. Eastston Cowan. What a chance there, young man. Want to get that one back. Here’s Holberg for the Lightning. Crosses the blue line into the offensive end. Nice play there by McCabe. And now the Leafs take it back over. McCabe and Matthews run into each other. Looks like a high stick up on Matthews, but don’t know if that was a leaf stick or a lightning stick. Moser with the puck for the Lightning back at the point. Drops it down low behind the net and it’s picked up there by the Leafs. Stetcher works it up the near side boards across the blue line now loses it at the red line to Cooerov. He sends it in and coming out is Hildabby. Hildabby just about misplayed it to a Lightning player but Doy makes the clearance down the ice and who’s that? Matthew Nice flying back to get the puck. Is he tripped up? Ah, no call there. But now Austin Matthews gets it back for the Leafs and will reset. Leafs reorganize now. Send it up to the blue line. Lifted forward for Matthew NY. Picked up by JJ Moser and sent up to Cooerov. Coocherov on the far side. Now back to Brandon Hegel. Hegel loses it. And now N will break it up out of the zone. Held in by Cooerov right at the blue line. And now finally cleared out to center ice by the Leafs. Taken down again is Matthew N. No call in the neutral zone. And here comes number 24 Croier. Headedman with the shot from the point. Blocked out in front and the Leafs will clear. Here’s McMahon. McMahon lays it off for Ra Wah. Wah trying to get the puck past Jake Gensel and he can’t. It’s broken up and Croer picks it up. Croer back to Hedman. Heedman as the Leafs have picked up on the shots on goal. Eh, right back in at 1615 point. Sends it down to Nick Paul behind the net. Paul over to Gensel. Gensel wraps it back around and it’s picked up by Simone Benois. Up to Dakota Joshua and now to Bobby McMahon. He comes flying in, takes the shot. Think it hits the side netting. I don’t think that’s going to count as a shot on goal. And uh OAL passes the puck back to Scott Lton. Lton now forward and it goes right in on Johansson’s net for the Lightning. Lillmberg drops it back for Bjornstrand. Bjornstrand farther now for Who’s that? Number 91. Number 90 JJ Moser. Bjorkstrand sends it around and now Gonalves with it. Haven’t said his name tonight. Gonaleves with the shot. That’s blocked in front of the net. Doesn’t get through as a shot. Here’s Riley with it now. Sends it out to Oel. Oel forward to Yarn Crook, but it goes out of the zone. And now back in by the Lightning. And they’re on side. Now sent out. Nice shot there on the tow drag there by Gonalves. And a great save by Hildabby on the 18th shot of the night for the Lightning. 13 minutes and 10 seconds to go. Man, where’s my chat? I got to pop that chat up. Top pop out. There it is. All right, so icing against Tampa Bay. Stcher goes back to get it and we’ll have an offensive zone faceoff. Man, Maggie, you’re not kidding. The Leafs are winning due to Hill to be making saves. No question. That is 100%. 100%. Ref suck. Go Leafs. Go. Let’s go, Richard. I love it. Here’s the faceoff. Leafs win the faceoff and take a shot. McCabe sends it back behind the net to Matthews. He comes out in front and it’s stopped by Johansson and we’ll have another faceoff with 1248 to go in the period. Leafs are winning due to Hill to be making saves 100%. Maggie, thanks for hanging out with us, my man. Appreciate it. Appreciate it. All right. Yes. Ingredients ganja. Let’s go. There you go. Buy a mic around. Buy a super chat. Richard Fer, much appreciated, man. Thank you so much. Chris Pard, go Leafs go. Woo. Let’s go, Maggie. Let’s go. Go Leafs go says Marty and Jamie. I got to get my Go Leafs go out in the chat as well. We want another Leafs goal. Come on buds. Let’s get a goal. All right, there you go. Richard wants to see that bell. So do I. I want to get Let’s get another Let’s get up there. Two nothing. We need to get two nothing, then three nothing, then four nothing, then just let’s keep on scoring. Keep on scoring. Shots are close to even. Yes, Mr. Robbatoto. Leafs are always getting outshot, but uh picked it up here in the last few minutes. They’ve kind of pulled pulled it back. Yeah, se seven nothing, Steph. That’s right. Yep. Don’t be greedy or they will make the Leafs lose. Guaranteed shutout night, says Steph. I love it. All right, come on, boys. It’s time. Is the PS5 worth it? Yes, big jam roll. It’s awesome, man. It is awesome. Dang. Uh oh. So TR’s 11-0 right now and he just got scored on with six minutes left and just lost the lead. 65 he’s losing, man. Oh man. Crazy. All right. They’re showing the uh the Lightning win in the Stanley Cup back in 2020 and again in 2021. Back-to- back Stanley Cup champions. The Lightning will clear. Oh, that’s going to be a penalty on the Leafs most likely as a trip from behind. But no, as the puck is tipped into the bench and shots are tied up 18 a piece and the Leafs kind of get away with one there. One nothing Leafs. 1236 left. Oh, get that. There it is. True. Just tied it up. I love it. Let’s go. Sorry, guys. I’m I’m distracted over here. I’m over here distracted by my uh by my pro player kicking ass with my team in the in the video game here. Here come the Lightning up the far side. Number 28 Gurgensson’s sends it around. Goes back to the point for Moser. Moser’s shot goes all the way around the net and picked up there by the Lightning and sent back to the far point. Lightning passing the puck well right now. Here is Jerelli. His shot blocked out in front and the Leafs will clear. Here’s East Cowan. Sends it up looking for Willie, but it goes too far and will reach the stick of Radish. Radish now passes over to Moser. Moser ahead to Gourd. Gourd gets a tip on it so it won’t be icing. And uh looks like here comes Mermis out of his defensive end. Mermis works it forward. Looks for Doy. Doi can’t quite get it, but it’ll go to N and tip back even further. Oh, and True just got scored on in the last minute. Last kick of the game. True just lo Oh man, brother man, that hurts, man. Solid effort though, Drew. Solid effort, man. Uh 1120 to go in the period. In the second period, the Leafs up one- nothing. Doy. I feel like there’s a DOY goal coming up here. Oh, what video game? Here come the Leafs into the offensive own zone. Matthews passes back to N. N to the far side. now goes all the way back across to Austin Matthews, but he can’t get his stick on it. And here’s N looking back to Matthews. He sends it back with what looked like might be a high stick, but the Lightning come up with it and will move it forward with Cooerov. Coocherov sends it across the ice and gets a shot off, but it’s saved by Hildby and we are still one- nothing. Here comes Nick Wah for the Leafs. passes it over Hedman’s stick looking for Morgan Riley who’s pinching in. He can’t quite get there. Hedman will walk out with the puck for the Lightning. Sends it forward looking for Gonzalez, but it is picked up by McMahon. McMahon takes it with speed across the blue line. Backhand shot saved by Johansson with exactly 10 minutes left. Man, oh man. O. McMahon with a nice nice speed there through the neutral zone and then down the right side past Croier and Heedman to get that shot off man. Getting closer, Leafs. Getting closer. Keep the pressure up. Get those shots off. Let’s go. Here’s the faceoff. W looks like he’s getting tossed, but it doesn’t matter. The Leafs win the faceoff. Here’s Hedman. Hedman passes up and it’s broken up there by the Leafs. Hedman has to retreat back behind his own net. Gets it up to Croier Croier. Now Lton takes it off of the stick of Gonzalez. And here comes Mermis. Mermis plays it back. Simone Benois. Benois looks forward, finds the stick of Cali Yarnrook. No, that’s Lorent. Lorent loses the puck. Bjorkstrand shot goes just wide. Dangerous shot actually. And Lorent and Yarn Crook trying to get the whistle there. They finally do as it goes offside. And we will have a faceoff just outside the Tampa Bay neutral zone. I have a a so I don’t know what’s happening. What I can tell you is uh we are Oh jeez. I still did the got to get this chat widget all messed up, man. Jeez, this stuff is craziness. Uh 16 out of 30. eyes usually mean goal against soon. Oh boy. Yeah. No, I don’t uh hope not. Oh man, they’re showing some uh some highlights of Cucherov and his uh his breakaways, his successes of breakaways. Braden Point, Austin Matthews in the faceoff circle. That’s one by our captain Austin Matthews. Leafs bring it forward. Matthew Ny sends it into the zone. Back to get it is JJ Moser of the Lightning. He passes to the right side and now sent into the middle for point point back to Gensel. Gensel’s shot goes wide. Picked up by the Lightning at the point and kept in. Now back to the point, but cannot keep it in as Troy Stcher. And the Lightning will be able to clear. They send it all the way down. Goes off a stansen into the ice and the glass and will not go down for icing. But here comes Troy Ster breaking through the neutral zone and into the Leafs offensive end. He loses the puck and now it’s a twoonone. Great defensive play there by Jake McCabe to break up that twoon-one, but the Lightning are still threatening. Cooerov sends it over. Had a great chance, but a broken up there by Lton. Good defense by the fourth line of the Leafs. Nice matchup here by the Leafs playing this line out there and getting in the way of some of these shots. Here’s Hegel. Sends it across. It’s broken up by Dakota Joshua and sent up the ice looking for McMahon. McMahon can’t quite get there. Tampa brings it in once again. Here’s Hegel at the left point. Passes across ice. Shot saved there by Hildabby and then swatted down the ice. Will it go for icing? No, it’s Oh, it goes just past the goal. And it will go for icing. And we’ll have a whistle with 554 left in the second period. Still 1 nothing Leafs over the Lightning. My goodness, it’s been a lot of action here in the second period. Thank god mom’s got prime. Steph, you’re not kidding, man. You’re not kidding. Can Knlander score tonight? Yes, he can score tonight. He’s looking like he’s uh he’s going to score tonight. He is uh he’s looking strong tonight. He’s played well. That line with East Cowan, he’s uh he’s looking good. All right, here is the puck won by the Leafs, sent into the corner. And now the break it out through Troy Ster. Stcher sends it into the Leafs offensive end. Nick Wah with it on the far side. He’ll pass it over to McMahon. McMahon loses it. Wah gets it back. Now Braden Point takes the puck away from him and the Lightning will break out. Moser Moser sends it over to Radish. He’ll launch it up the right side and Riley loses the puck there to Jake Gensel. And now Paul Paul for the Lightning. Sends it back behind the net. Riley gets there first. Nice play there as who is that? Matthew NY stops, passes back to Oel. His shot goes wide. Matthews tries to get it. He mixes there with Gensel and the puck will go out of the zone and Mermis plays it back. Mermis looking for someone up front. There is Nice. His pass goes a little too far. And now Gonzalez streaks in for the lightning. Sends it back. Misses everyone on the pass across the ice. Here is N. Nice. Oh, what a move from Matthew N. Tries to get it forward to Max Doi, but the bad pass and it goes right there to the Lightning. All right, Max Doi sends it down the ice. Picking it up for the Lightning is Yanni Gourd. Gourd with speed tries to do the dump down, but it’s intercepted there by the Leafs. And now Mermis will send it forward looking for Dakota Joshua up against the Leafs goal. Here comes Pontis Holberg. Holberg skates through the neutral zone. Lightning with possession now. Sends it over to Yanni Gourd. Heman’s shot back from the point. Saved there by Hildabby. Troy Stetcher goes to get the puck in the far corner and launches it up the ice. He’ll get it just out of the zone and Willie Knander will circle it back in to his own end to regroup. Gergensson’s with pressure on him. He sends it over to the far side for Eastan Cowan. Cowan working down the left. Drops it back for Willie. Willie now looking at the point. He’ll switch. goes over to Eastston Cowan who will have to come out of the zone and lays it back for Willie. Willie regroups and sends it over to Eastston Cowan right in front of the Tampa Bay bench. Long pass forward. Will that go for icing? No, it was deflected. Picked up there by the Lightning and Victor Hedman will try to work it out of the zone. Scott Lton has other plans for that one. Cooerov takes possession of the puck, tries a little backhand pass and misplays it. Rolls right off his stick and the Lightning will have to reset. Croer back with it, sends it over to Braden Point. Point gains speed through the neutral zone. Good defense there by Lton. Lton still with the puck at the red line. Sends it in. Johansson comes across. Willie zero goals in his last four games. He had eight goals in his previous 11 games. All right, here is Cooerov. Passes the puck up looking for his teammate and it’s broken up there by the Maple Leafs. Dakota Joshua sends it down the ice and now lays it off for McMahon. McMahon far circle sends it back to the point. Shot into the chest of Johansson and saved. And now we’ve got another whistle. Who is even on the ice? They’re showing Yanni Gourd and Radish and talking about how they’ve shut down Austin Matthews tonight as Chief looks on. Faceoff won there by the Leafs as they get possession of it. Um now Gergensson’s sends it over for the Lightning. Here comes Yanni Gourd up the near side. What do we think? who’s going to uh who’s going to shine the brightest for the Maple Leafs in the uh in the third period. So far, my number one star of this game is Morgan Riley. He’s got the goal and uh he’s also playing some uh great great defense. He has made a couple good uh good plays. He’s gotten involved in the offense as well. I’m really liking what I’m seeing out of Morgan Riley and then obviously Dennis Hillby, right? So, he’ll to be with is is for sure. Um, given that he’s he’s pitching the shut out so far. All right, time to break this baby open. Let’s go. Cheers, everybody. All right. Where’s that Diet Dr. Pepper at? Blackberry and Diet Dr. Pepper. It’s actually quite quite a good drink. It’s 0 for one for the Leafs. zero of zero pending for the uh pending for the uh Lightning with their half uh they got about 45 seconds left on the power play when the third period returns right about now. Should actually check if I’m live because if I’m not live that’d be very bad. No, I’m live. All right, there we go. We’re going to just We’re going to refresh this because this is not working right. Oh, come on now. There we go. Here we go. Here we go. Let’s go, NHL Network. All right. And they’re dropping the puck. Scott Lton loses the faceoff and it is grabbed there by Radish and he’ll take it back into his own end to start the power play off in the third period off for the Lightning. Ooh, nice play there by Is that Lton? No, it’s Lorent. Lorent with the uh sends the puck down and it’s grabbed there by the goalie and sent up against the boards, but the Leafs are going to have possession of the puck. Finally taken back by the Lightning and Cooerov passes a shot. Nice save there by Hildabby and the Lightning will carry on here with 10 seconds left in the power play. Cooerov near side circle sends it down low now back out in front. The shot is in the chest of Dennis Hillbe and a save is made with 1915 on the clock which means the power play is over. The kill is in place. I love it. I love it. That’s uh that’s what we need right there. We need Hill to be to be locked in right now. Back back at it. All right, let’s uh let’s put the uh score for the Maple Leafs. There it is from Yahoo because Yahoo finally got it updated. All right, here is the replay of Braden Points. a shot in some of the saves that Dennis Hildabby has been making tonight. Babe, where’d you go? Okay. Are you coming to hang out? All right, Coocherov getting ready for the faceoff as it’s in the offensive end for the Lightning. Hilderby lock it in. Faceoff is won by the Leafs. Matthew Ny maybe not won by the Leafs. Couldn’t see it there by the boards, but a shot from the point saved by Hilderby. Rebound out in front, cleared by Austin Matthews. At least gets it out of the zone to center ice. And now here he comes. Gets the loose puck. Sends it across to the right side. Shot saved by Johansson and into the corner. Lightning send the puck forward. Morgan Riley’s back to get it though. No problem at all. He sends it up into the neutral zone and it’s picked up by Radish. Radish sends it back into his own end for Moser. Moser crosses the red line, now the blue line. Held up nicely there by the Leafs. And Oel will slightly get the puck out of the zone. Just enough time for Tampa to reload. They send it across and a great defensive play by Max Doi saves a goal as Nikita Cooerov was sitting near side ready to snipe that into a wide open net. Another shot from Cooerov saved by Hildabby. That one was going wide, so it shouldn’t count as a shot on goal. But 2319 and things are picking up here in the third period. Couple good chances for our buds. Couple good chances for the Leafs. Holy man. Let’s go. It’s not a rap song, it’s a ballad. I don’t do rap. I was talking about how I uh I’m a big rap. That’s just I love rap music. I don’t know why. Just what I do. Here come the buds. Nice chance there. Willie chasing down the puck. Can’t quite get there as the Lightning will break it forward. Oh boy. Here comes Jake Gensel down the near side. He’ll send it across the ice looking for his teammate behind the net. It’s picked up there by the Leafs. Here’s Willie Knander. He’ll send it forward for JT. JT gets it into the zone and Jason come on now. Ah man, we keep losing the puck in our own end. Sent over for the Lightning and they’ll regroup there. Number 51, Charlie Edward Jastice Justice. I don’t even know how to say it. Man, I’m really struggling with that guy’s name tonight. Angus McCarter just into old school rap. Yes. Let me let me clarify that with my rap stuff. Old school. Like it’s got to be like old old school. Like 1990s rap. Okay. Like I I still like some of the new stuff. I’m not I’m not going to, you know, but yes, Jin and Juice, some good Snoop, some good NWA, Easy E, Bone Thugs in Harmony, that kind of stuff. I’m not talking about like the rap of today with like I don’t even know. I honestly don’t even know the rappers of today. Um, it really is. It’s It’s really bad. It’s really really bad. Dr. Dre was good. Yep. I’m 23. Listen to Snoop Dogg in high school. Nice. Oh, we got a fight. Joshua and Cro Croer Cohen at it. Let’s go. Here we go. Oh, Joshua grabs a hold of him right there in front. Glaces him with a right hand. Oh, gets the helmet off and then he went too hard too quick and uh yikes. That one uh he went down and that will be a loss on that fight. But uh dang, Joshua was he got a couple good shots in there, but ended up to uh I think is he ended up losing that one, but a nice hit there by Mermis and uh man, Gonzalez coming after him. Trips him up. That should be a uh possible neon knee on them there. We’ll see if there’s going to be a penalty coming out of this. Should end up with a power play. Leafs with that kind of cheap shot. But Croer and Joshua going after it. Where is that coming from? Oh, that’s where it’s coming from. Hey, Roger Nap in the chat. What’s up, Tech? Good evening. Great to see you, Roger the man. Cheers. 17 minutes to go in the third period. Kneeing major. Yeah, that uh you could see just he was looking down at his knee in the replay they’re showing. He was like trying to line knee to knee up there to Mermis and uh man oh man. Hopemis is all right on that one. That is dirty. That’s real dirty Steph. That’s ugly hockey right there, man. Oh man. All right, so the Buds will be on the power play. Nobody’s perfect. Hey, it’s all good, Richard. It’s all good. Mish. Amen, brother. Amen. All right. So, they’re looking over it. They’re uh they’re going to take a minute to uh review it and see if they’re going to toss him from the game or not. I think they will after uh after seeing that replay. But, uh John Cooper not looking impressed there on the uh on the bench. She knows that’s going to be a tough one for his team there. But uh yikes. That was ugly right there. That was ugly, man. Soon. Soon, buddy. Soon. All right. Into both old school rap and outlaw country. Okay, Angus. I like uh I can do some country sometime, but usually it’s only in the summer um that I’m I’m a country fan. I like when I rolling with the windows down, you know what I mean? But man, yeah, a little bit of country, a little bit of rock, little bit of modern stuff with the kids. I listen to it all, you know? But uh all right, still on a break here. Nothing uh nothing happening from the uh the ref standpoint. 23 to 19 are the shots for the Lightning. The faceoff circle. Leafs up to 21 out of 38. 55%. Oh, I got to adjust that AI up there. Boom. No. Still have not resumed play yet. I don’t know why we’re taking so dang long on this. It’s pretty clear. I mean, this guy was uh this guy is is rough. He went in hard with the knee out. Looked down. He was kind of sucks that the uh the video camera was right in that angle. Okay. John Cooper is uh looking confused. Bube is looking enthused. So, Gonzalez will be uh looks like he’s heading to the uh to the dressing room for the evening. Looks like he’s uh he’s been tossed and uh he’s out of here. Yep, he is. Uh game misconduct. Goodbye. Gonalves Leafs coming up with a power play here as I have no Oh, there is the uh we’re going to see what these announcers are saying because I can’t hear anything. Yeah. So they’re seeing something about a high stick. All right, it’s McMahon talking there to the bench for the Leafs. Sounds like these announcers uh for Amazon Prime night, they don’t have a damn clue what’s going on either. So, the uh the refs have uh sent everybody back out onto the ice and uh we hopefully we’ll resume some play here. So, McMahon is gone as well. So, McMahon hits. Oh, and here comes So, they’re giving a game to McMahon, too. Wow. All right. So, the Leafs win the faceoff. So, it’s uh All right. That’s uh that’s interesting right there. So, the penalties wash out and we’re playing Oh, turnover in front. Knander holds on to it. tries to get the pass across to Tvaris, but a great defensive play there by the Lightning and they will skate out into the offensive zone. Braden Point, nice stick check there from McCabe and he’ll get the puck out for the Leafs. Darren Radish sends it back in there for the Leafs. And now McCabe will send it out for the Leafs into the zone and that goes out of play. Will we have a penalty? No, I don’t think so. At least I hope not. Man, all right. So, yeah, they’re uh fitting there with uh with that. Both of them getting the uh the games. All right. Chance here for the Lightning. Walks in on goal. Saved by Hilderby and cleared out. Here comes Max Doi with speed, but it’s broken up by the Lightning at the red line. Matthews picks it up. Sends it back to Riley. Riley ahead to N. Nice across for Oh, back in front. What a chance for Austin Matthews. He usually doesn’t miss this, man. Oh, man. Terrence, buddy. What’s the deal, Terrence? Hey, Carmen in the house. Cheers, Carmen. Good to see you. All right, here comes Yanni Gourd for the Lightning. Passes back into his own end and the Lightning will regroup. Moser works it forward. Moser passes over to Cooerov. Cucherov comes into the zone and it will go into the netting for a faceoff. 1515 left in the third period and the Leafs still hold on to the slightest of leads. One nothing for the Buds. 12 penalty minutes each. Only one power play each though as two 10 minutes uh were just switched there. Um taken right off the board there by McMahon’s uh play. Ah, wasn’t wasn’t a smart play there by Bobby McMahon. All right, Nick Wah sends it down into the corner.
