Does Tennessee Titans QB Cam Ward having an ATTITUDE PROBLEM?!

Tennessee Titans fans, does Cam Ward have an attitude problem? Does he have an attitude problem? The Titans got their second win of the season over the Cleveland Browns this past Sunday. Shador Sanders and the Cleveland Browns. I think that is worth noting here. And afterwards, the Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward seemed frustrated, agitated, not as happy as one would think after getting a hard-earned win in the NFL. Eastston Freeze and A Toz Sports did an article about it and the link to that is in the video description in the pinned comment below. But Eastston said, “I wrote about Cam Ward’s attitude issue. He got called out on the team playing ride home for it. His coaches and teammates commented on it. Media and fans alike have strong opinions on it. I think it’s the perfect message from an imperfect messenger. Now, like I said, the link to that article is in the video description and the pinned comment below. I’m not going to tell you everything in that article. You can go read it. Uh, but I will give my thoughts on it. For those that wonder what in the world I’m talking about, Cam Ward in his postgame press conference Sunday after the Titans defeated the Browns seemed almost like it was a loss. He was visibly frustrated. He said some things that alluded to, you know, we we can’t use winning the game as an excuse for some of the things that we didn’t do well. Kind of critiqued his own personal performance. And he talked about how he handles winning and losing the same way. He’s going to treat this win the same way that he would treat a loss. It’s not the beall endall for him because he’s going to respond to it the same either way. You can actually go back and watch the highlights of the game. At the end when the Titans ran the clock out, Jeffrey Simmons ran up to Cam to congratulate him and Cam was just shaking his head almost like he wasn’t satisfied. Uh and then in this article at details on the plane ride home, Ardan Key got up and got on the mic on the plane and said, “Celebrate this win. I don’t care what Cam says. Celebrate this win. Now, I’m assuming that was done as a joke because Ardan Key is usually a pretty lively joking around kind of guy. So, I’m assuming he was being lighthearted about it, but there’s probably a reason that he said it because Cam was behaving in a way that was very much maybe not as happy with the win as some of the other guys. Here’s where I stand on this because Mike McCoy talked about it Monday morning in his press conference. He said, “Hey, we like how competitive and passionate he is, but also it’s okay for a moment to celebrate when you get a win cuz wins are hard to come by, especially when you’re a team like the Titans are this year. So, when you find those wins, it’s okay to smile and celebrate it for a minute. For me though, I mostly don’t have a problem with it at all because the Titans are not a good team. They’re they’ve lost 11 of their 13 games. They got a win Sunday and that’s all fine and good, but let’s not get it twisted. The the team did a lot of things poorly, a lot of frustrating elements of this game. I’m sure for Cam to see Shadore Sanders, his buddy on the other side as a rookie quarterback who’s also on a bad team, but Shador’s getting opportunities to throw the ball and they’re trusting him to do all of these things and the Titans and Mike McCoy seem scared to do anything with Cam. And why would you be at this point? Because even if he throws incomplete passes or interceptions or whatever, I mean, you’re one and 11 coming into this game. Who cares? You got to see what you have with them. So, I’m not going to fault him for being frustrated with that. And I’m also not going to fault him for not being satisfied with just this one win after losing and losing and losing and losing and losing. I I’m I’m not going to I’m not going to fault him for still being hungry. Um, as a matter of fact, I think it’s a little bit of what the Titans need. The Titans, I mean, you’re talking about, and it, you know, Eastston talks about this in the article as well. The Titans are a team that, you know, celebrated when they only lost by six to the Seahawks a couple of weeks ago. This is a team that, you know, got handed their first win of the season against the Cardinals with a series of some of the craziest things I’ve ever seen in an NFL game happening to one team. Happened to the Cardinals in that game. And Brian Callahan declared in the locker room afterwards, “We just got to keep doing that and everything will be all right.” He was fired a week later. It’s the organization’s still in a miserable place. I mean, they’re a laughingstock. They are at the bottom of the barrel of the NFL. Cam knows it. And so, I’m not going to fault him for not being satisfied with just getting a win over the Browns in December when you’ve lost 11 games and looked awful in most of those games. I’m not going to fault him for that. And as a matter of fact, if you’re a Titans fan, I think you should want that kind of fire and that kind of passion because you tell me if Tom Brady was on a New England Patriots or a Tampa Bay Buccaneer team that was this bad and they randomly win a game, do you think Tom Brady’s going to come to the podium afterwards and be like, “All right, guys, isn’t everything great?” No. Tom Brady’s still going to be mad that they’re that bad. Pton Manning, uh, Drew Brees, insert name here, Ben Rothllessberger, any of the greats, Steve McNair, not gonna be satisfied with just getting your second win of the season in December. With that being said, I do believe like, hey, you’re on a bad team. Wins are going to be hard to come by. It is okay to briefly smile and high-five and celebrate with the guys. I mean, I do think there is some credibility with guys like Ardan Key and Jeffrey Simmons who are saying, “Hey, it’s okay to to be happy we won. It’s okay to celebrate in the locker room and high-five and and celebrate on the plane ride home and have fun and enjoy it. You got to enjoy it at some point.” And there hasn’t been much to enjoy. So, I see that side of it, too. I think there’s a fine line. You can say, “Hey, I’m glad we won the game. I’m glad the guys are getting to celebrate. I’m glad we got to experience that. Getting a win after all the hard work we’ve been putting in. But also, I’m not going to complain when your first overall pick pretty much says that ain’t good enough. Cuz it’s not. Yeah, have fun with your teammates. Celebrate the win. That’s awesome. But two and 11 ain’t good enough. His performance wasn’t good enough. And I know winning’s the most important thing, but I think he knows he’s got to play better. We’ve seen that from him all year with some of the comments he’s made about his own personal play, his frustration. I’m fine with that. Channel that. Use that. It’s what he’s done his whole career. Every time that things have been down and people been saying bad things about him and he hasn’t been playing well, go watch the new documentary. That’s what drives him. So, be frustrated even in victory. Enjoy it by all means. Enjoy the fact that you got to win with your buddies and your teammates, but don’t lose that anger. Don’t lose that frustration cuz I kind of like it. This team needs it. This team needs somebody to say, “Hey, yeah, cool. We won. We won a game, but I want to be better. And I’m not going to rest until we’re better. I’m not going to rest until we’re winning and winning and winning and winning and winning. I’m not going to stop until winning becomes the norm again. I’m not going to complain about that. I do want him to stop and smell the roses and enjoy getting the win and everything and celebrate with his teammates, but I’m not going to fault the kid for not being satisfied. You shouldn’t be satisfied at 2 and 11. You shouldn’t be satisfied with the situation you’re in. If you were, something would be wrong with you. I would question your competitive fire if you were satisfied with this. I would question your your competitive fire if you had come to the podium after this game and been like, “Yes, we’re awesome.” Like I then I would be like, “All right, bro. Are you delusional right now? Are you dulu?” But I don’t have most of me doesn’t have a problem with it. Yes, I see what Mike McCoy is saying. It’s It’s okay to celebrate with your teammates and be glad you got a win in a season where things have been tough. That’s something to celebrate in a season where there hasn’t been a lot to celebrate. But don’t don’t take the kid’s competitive fire away. Don’t take the kids passion away. Let him be who he is. And if he’s saying they’re not good enough, I agree. Even though they won Sunday, I agree. The record speaks for itself. Tighten up everybody.

  1. Put yourself in his shoes!. Morons need to think before they type. Cam has been thru the ringer being compared to great players, pressured all day on and off the field. Let this man do his job, can you imagine being micromanaged at your 9-5. Finally get a quality win and now he is being judged for not having a big smile on his face. No kidding he isn't in the best mood because I'm sure he isn't satisfied with how he played. He knows he was there. Cut the man some friggin slack. He has the best mentality a first year player can have with the cards he's been dealt with this team. Management seems to be staying out of his way, why cant anyone else. Has anyone seen what this kid has been thru to get here. He has the hunger he has the fire. CHILL OUT 🥶

  2. He didn't have the game he wanted to have. Everybody cheer whenever Kobe or Tim Duncan did it. I see it a a sign of wanting better and wanting to win by more and im with him

  3. lol lmfao attitude problem, the dude wants to be the greatest and wants to win. They barley won that game and didn’t play the greatest. I love cams attitude he isn’t some weak minded person

  4. The fan base is lowkey soft to be honest. I respect that he know its not good enough. The defense should be disappointed with letting Shadeur nearly beat them in the last few possessions. They barely held on to the league. I don't want that loser mentality rubbing off on my starting QB. Kobe, Michael Jordan and Manning hated losing. You didn't see them celebrate wins when they lost 90% of the games they played.

  5. For a young man it’s probably challenging staying positive and motivated when you are thrown into the dumpster fire of an organization like the titans.

I mean man we gotta get this dude Cam some serious help if we want the kid to be happy in the slightest.
