Dreger indicated 37 felt great after skate and was even ready to push to return this weekend. Sounds like the staff said not gonna rush it.
But it is big news as the original assessment was 4-6 weeks of missed time. If he does indeed return next week it would be somewhere between 3-4 weeks since he had the procedure.

What could go wrong? 😬
While this is great news, I really don’t expect them to rush him back even with the current state of the team’s play. I’d wager it’s a total of 5 weeks before he’s fully back in action.
It’s not like Bucky coming back is going to suddenly make the team do a 180° and figure out secondary scoring. And I’m sure he is antsy to get back, so of course he would be saying he feels great and ready to go, but from an organizational stand point you gain nothing by cutting his rehab short and risk re-injuring his knee. Prudent amount of caution is the best move in my opinion.
Can he score goals? Because if not, there’s no point in rushing him back.
Jesus, don’t. Goaltending is not the problem.
Maybe he can be our second line center? 👀.Probably will score as many goals as the rest of the bottom 9 😂
Goaltending isn’t the problem
I hope to hell they take their time. He is just the kind of competitor to push himself and the organization needs to chill. It’s not worth risking 6 years on a pretty much lost season.
I want Bucky back as bad as the next guy, especially with tickets next week in Denver, but I really hope they don’t rush this. A long term injury to him would be catastrophic
Keep this shit at 37 upvotes btw
Jesus saves
…and so does Hellebuyck
With NEW bionic KNEES! Oh baby, where’s that holy picture of our lord and saviour!
That would be an insanely fast return time for a knee scope.
