And it’s possible that Eli won’t get in at all or any of the next years. But I am sure as heck RELIEVED that those two will not be on the same HOF timeline rn and not have to hear all about it

I remember a conversation on SiriusXM NFL Radio on HOF QB’s when Peyton Manning announced his retirement. The conversation started with “Let’s just ignore the HOF locks: Brady and Roethlisberger”. They then discussed Eli first, then Rivers, then Rodgers, and only then Brees. I remember saying out loud in the car “In what universe is Roethlisberger considered a lock to the HOF over Drew Brees!?”
