Since Rivers reset his eligibility, I get Eli will still have to contend with Brees and Rothesliberger coming eligible.

But he won't have to fight those QBs AND Rivers, at least the next 5 years.

I hope this helps Eli's chances at getting in.

  1. Eli not going 1st ballot is total robbery. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get in this year.

  2. Anyone who thinks Philip Rivers should get in the HOF before Eli Manning isn’t a person you need to be taking seriously.

It’s already a joke that Eli wasn’t a first ballot HOFer

  3. Eli should have gotten in first ballot these voters see very biased rivers has no rings and Eli has 2 so idk how much it would help

  4. Hey I appreciate you being a sicko about this because this has been one of my first thoughts as well. I feel like the short answer is like who knows ? And it’s possible that Eli won’t get in at all or any of the next years. But I am sure as heck RELIEVED that those two will not be on the same HOF timeline rn and not have to hear all about it

  5. Rivers shouldn’t even be getting into the HoF, let alone making it tougher for Eli.

Edit: unless he fathers an entire NFL starting XI, then he goes into Mt rushmore

  6. I remember a conversation on SiriusXM NFL Radio on HOF QB’s when Peyton Manning announced his retirement. The conversation started with “Let’s just ignore the HOF locks: Brady and Roethlisberger”. They then discussed Eli first, then Rivers, then Rodgers, and only then Brees. I remember saying out loud in the car “In what universe is Roethlisberger considered a lock to the HOF over Drew Brees!?”

Roethlisberger just has some people bamboozled…

  7. Rivers is not making the HOF. No rings. The guy reached AFC Championship once. I don’t think he’s even in consideration for a gold jacket.

  8. Probably not.

Eli himself has said that this doesn’t keep him up at night.

    Everyone chill.

  9. Posted this earlier and power tripping mod deleted it. Like Eli getting into HOF isn’t Giants related. GTFO
