  3. The fact Mermis is on IR and Goncalves isn’t suspended longer than McMann is RIDICULOUS.

  4. If McCabe-Stecher can be a legit second pairing pair. Then realistically we have 3 solid second pairings, which I’ll take at this point. We’re never going to have a true solid first pairing d without anyone being close to a true 1D.

  5. Interested to see Thrun get some games. Maybe the Leafs can find another surprise like they did with Stecher.

  6. Mermis injured on an intentional knee and Goncalves gets no punishment is WILD.

    Glad to see Thrun make it in though.

  13. Thrun’s first game as a leaf will be against his old team. 

    If this was the other way around you could book him in for a goal. 

  14. Berube will die before he puts Maccelli back in the lineup.

    Hope we can get some good trade value at least, it’s no use to have him sitting in the press box forever

  15. I feel like we’re getting trolled by Berube, there’s no other way you look at Roy and Joshua’s game and think Nylander fits with them. Robertson on the 2nd line is a ray of light from above, but Cowan played so well with Roy and Joshua after McMann got booted, why not keep him on the 3rd?

  20. These lines are wild. Not sure what Nylander is doing on the third line- I know he’s been garbage but Joshua and Roy are slow and can’t cover for Willy like Tavares.

  22. Out of the Marner Money Squad I wanted Maccelli to succeed the most. But being paid that much to be a 14F is soul-destroying
