You want to talk about the Niners or the Titans here for this? I want to talk I want to talk about what’s really consistently been the best part of this Titans uh uh team really all year. Their run defense has been really good. They’re only getting better as the season goes on. How about this? Since week nine, they have the fifth best run defense grade in football. fourth fewest yards per carry allowed. Fifth fewest missed tackles in the run game in that stretch. When you look at all three layers of their defense, right, Tandre Sweat and Jeffrey Simmons inside on the defensive line. Cedric Gray, we’ve talked about him before, has been outstanding at linebacker. And now that safety Kevin Winston Jr., he’s really that box safety, that big hitter, really good tackler who’s been an excellent run defender since his college days. He just had to get healthy this year going into his rookie year. They’ve got a solid run defense. And when you look at this 49er team that yes, very good on the offensive line still with the way they scheme things up, but Christian McAffrey hasn’t been all that efficient as a runner. He’s only got 3.6 yards per carry this year. So, I could see a road at least early in the game here where, and Tennessee’s done this in recent weeks as well, where their run defense frustrates teams early on in games because they don’t allow them to be as efficient as they want to be. Now, the secondary has not been great. Obviously, teams have been able to drop back and throw the football on them. You saw it last week even against Shadore Sanders and the Browns, but they won that game because their ability to run and stop the run. That’s what’s making this Titans team a bit frustrating right now, especially their front seven. They’re really physical and they don’t give you a whole lot of ground in the run game with some of these young guys that have playing for them. Yeah. And on the other side of things, I mean, they won against the Cleveland Browns because they were able to run the football. 23 explosive runs this season, which are runs of 10 or more yards. That’s 23rd in the NFL. They just don’t do it very often, but last week it was a big reason why they were able to win that football game. And so being able to be explosive on the ground is important because when you look at that game, they scored 31 points, but Shimray DK led them in the receiving game outside of I believe it was Taj Spears who actually had the most receiving yards, but outside of him out of the back field for receivers and tight ends, DK had 24 receiving yards. Like that was it. They all they had on offense were those explosive runs. And so they’re going to have to have another game like that if they’re going to keep pace with the 49ers. Now, they have an opportunity, like you said, maybe keep this game a little bit closer, but um I just don’t think it’s going to happen. 24-13 is the final score that I have here. I just think the 49ers are just straight up a better football team. And outside of maybe a a really good Cam Ward game, uh supplemented with a couple of nice runs here, a couple of big runs, I just don’t know how the Titans keep pace. So, I’ve got the 49ers here, uh winning by more than 10. I’m going to say the Titans keep it closer than you think cuz in four of their last five games they won last week. They had a a blowout loss to Jacksonville, but the three games before that they lost by only one score. They’re at least playing more competitive physical football over the last few weeks. And I think in the trenches they might be able to keep up with San Francisco who still really struggles on the Dline to rush the passer. And they’re not going to blitz. It’s the lowest blitz rate in the league from Robert Salow which is on brand for him. So I think this game might be closer than you think especially early if the Titans run defense does play well. They could make Brock Purie beat him. I do think Kyle Shanahan once again just finds a way to get it done. But I’m going to take I’m going to take a closer one here. A defensive struggle.
