  3. lol u guys are talking about needing 2 big bats that was BEFORE u lost Alonso and those bats are not out there they cant be had they cant be signed this shit is a joke there is no way in hell this team will be even a little better then last year in fact they wont even be close, u needed a power bat to hit behind Pete now u dont have either haha this shit can only happen to the Mets

  4. I don't know if Stearns blowing up the team will equal success in 26', but I am so glad I won't have to be tortured by the same guys for another season looking so bad when it mattered the most. I will miss those guys and was rooting for them to have success every year and had a real sense they ran out of time at the end of this past season, but I am also open to seeing new talent work together to achieve the goal of a championship that what we have had wasn't able to do. LGM!

  6. Don’t listen to these guys they on SNY payroll. Pete wasn’t the problem and Diaz wasn’t the problem. The problem was starting pitching and then not able to go deep into games. How letting Diaz walk run prevention? Almost every team has a defensive liability that’s makes up for it with the bat and Pete defense isn’t as bad as they make it out to be. Stearns has done nothing here for us to trust him 🤷🏾‍♂️

  7. That caller who was talking about the Cubs fans coming to games whether they won or lost is clueless. They came to the games in the hopes that they would start winning and they loved the TEAM and not the individual players. If they were given the option of winning or keeping indivdual players, they would have said winning 100% percent of the time and the fact that he said "I'm Done" just because we made a few moves that he didnt like just shows that he isnt a true Mets fan no matter what he says about being a season ticket holder for years.

  8. "who's gonna replace Pete's numbers" … clueless stuff. The Yankees hit more Hrs than the Dodgers & Blue Jays and the Mets hit more HRs than the Jays. It's baseball not a home run derby. And yes Mets fans, you can't just add pitching and run it back.

  9. I agree with BT and Sal's assessment of what the team has been, but I don't think Stearns will be filling the open spots with big names that demand long contracts. It will either be inhouse and/or players looming in the background or shorter deals.
