disagree wholeheartedly on girard’s play in the 3rd. Bednar wanted Mackinnon’s line with the sams and they got dominated several shifts, including the go ahead goal. Him playing D for ANOTHER goal is more…. doing his job than it is noteworthy. His advanced stats back that up – he had a very very bad game
Power play going 0-3 at the end of the Second was big.
How do we have so much talent but such a bad power play?
Feels like Bednar can’t figure out power play for the last 3 years.
I’m worried this will hurt us come playoff time
Point 5 is wrong. Second fastest in Avs history, sure. But in franchise history- he’s 4th. Two Stastny brothers were also faster.
