“Steelers are going to win AFC North” – Nate Burleson on Aaron Rodgers shines to beat beat Ravens
along with my colleagues. That’s right, JB. Yeah, I got this JB. We got an a AFC North battle right here. You’re talking about the Pittsburgh going to Baltimore and it lived up to its billing. Here you can see Aaron Rogers short pass to Jaylen Warren and he will do the rest going in there from 38 yds out. It gives Pittsburgh a 27-6 lead. But then it’s going to be Lamar Jackson find Isaiah likely off the play action right here in the middle of the field. It’s going to be reviewed. He did not get his third foot down. It was going to be called an incomplete pass. One, two, and you’ll see the ball coming out before that third foot hit the ground. And that’s so it’s going to be an incomplete pass. It’s going to lead right here. Touch right here. Lamar Jackson stepping up though. He’s going to find Mark Andrews and it’s going to still lead 2722. 228 to go. They got the ball back. One final shot right here. But Alex Highmith, the sack right here at the end of the game on Lamar Jackson seals the victory for the Pittsburgh Steelers who go to seven and six and lead the division. Big day for Aaron Rogers. You can see right there, turn 84 yards, one rushing, one throwing, and DK Medaf, seven receptions, one those last four weeks has been awesome. Josh Allen, last year’s MVP, shows you why he can put a team on his back right here. 40 yardd rushing touchdown, the longest rushing touchdown for a quarterback in Buffalo Bill franchise history. And Joe Pearl watches Christian Benford, probably been the best defensive player for the Buffalo Bills all year. takes that quick screen, picks it off out of the air, 67 yards, goes for the touchdown. And on fourth, down, Josh Allen again would be Josh Allen. He had a total 329 yards on the day. He had four touchdowns. And again, this one goes to Jackson Halls. And I’ll tell you what, Josh Allen is telling you right now why he is the league’s MVP. And don’t forget about him in this year’s voting. You can see it right there. 349 you 20 329 yards totally for Josh Allen. Four touchdowns and it was Buffalo Bills big win today as they go to 94. You’re right coach. He’s reminding us just how good he is. Dolphins Jets and Tu might be doing the same thing. Check him out in the pocket. Takes a hit from the blind side. Delivers a beautiful ball to Jaden Wadd for the touchdown. They’re up seven to zero at that point. And then Devon Aan he’s fantastic when he’s on the field. 13 yd score for him on the ground in the air. The Dolphins big time win over a team that’s really just trying to figure themselves out. They put up 34 34 points in that one. All right, fellas. Let’s take a look at the playoff picture right here. You see New England and Denver sitting at top. Jacksonville on top of that AFC South and Pittsburgh with that win takes the top of the North. Interestingly enough, Indie goes to last spot in the wild card with a win tonight by Houston though. They’re going to be on the outside looking in. This is going to be an interesting couple of weeks, but it could be, you know, a handful of teams. as we see that Baltimore, Kansas City, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, they all need help. They all need help in these next couple of weeks to get back in. So, it’s going to be interesting to see how it all shakes out. I think when you look at this Baltimore Pittsburgh game, the difference in this game, Pittsburgh still gave up over 200 yards rushing, a lot of yards in the air, but they played good situational football. Baltimore was only two of six in the red zone. They could not finish drives, and that ultimately was a difference in this game. Yeah. And I think I think for the Pittsburgh Steelers too, it’s the explosive plays offensively that have been missing and Aaron Rogers threw the ball down the field as well as he has all year. Uh they hit the go balls on the outside, but then the ball getting out quickly and creating explosive plays off the short passing game as well. I thought Aaron Rogers played one of his best games as a Pittsburgh Steeler. We’ll take a look at it right here. But this is that little roll and he’s going to throw this ball again. The accuracy of DK Metaf over the shoulder, that vertical passing game. And then right here, same thing down the sideline. You cannot throw that football any better on a go route right there. You can’t do it. And then look at the time. Look at the time in the pocket. The inability of Baltimore to be able to get home was an issue all day. You find that deep crossing route right there to DK Mechaf, but it’s the big plays. It was the chunk plays that have been missing. You know, when you look at the last two games and what he did against Buffalo and then to bounce back today with an efficient and explosive performance, that’s exactly what they needed. We came into this game talking about who was going to be the quarterback. I felt like Lamar had a great chance to have an explosive day, but it was Aaron Rogers. Aaron Rogers stepped up and delivered the performance they needed. Yeah, we thought it was likely that Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry would have big days up against this defense. Uh, a big day up against this defense. But speaking of likely, um, how about this? Isaiah likely this catch that some say it was a touchdown. They decided it wasn’t. And let’s check out this other angle. So, he’s going to catch the ball. He’s trying to keep it away from the defensive player, which I get. One foot down, two foot, and then that third one, it doesn’t get down before the ball comes out. And here it is. You can see it. That right foot gets down. And then the second one, I know if you’re a Baltimore Ravens fan or even a wide receiver, you’re saying, “Give me the catch.” But at the same time, you have to control it all the way through. And that play right there is the difference in the division right now. It’s that close. And that’s really been the story of the entire NFL season. Plays like that. his foot is about a fraction away from hitting that ground and before the ball and the ball just gets popped out right there at the end. So the margin for error right now in this division, Baltimore’s not out of this. You look at these schedules coming up and you look at the overall standings, you know, Pittsburgh’s got Miami, Detroit, Cleveland, and Baltimore the next four games. Baltimore, Cincy, New England, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, there’s a lot of football still to be played for both of these teams, but the difference right now is razor razor thin. Yeah. I mean, I think again the Porter just finishing that play. You talk about finishing a play right till the very end and he did be able to get that ball out. Was a huge play and again they they they gave up a lot of yards but they were very stout in terms of keeping him out of the end zone. I think the great part about that play too is both players were doing exactly what you coached them to do. Exactly what you coached them to do. And again it’s just that that small little half a click just to get that foot down and that game is completely different. Yeah. The highlights quarterback. All right. Here we go. Saints taking on the Buccaneers and it’s going to be rookie QB Tyler Shuck. is going to fake it and take him himself. Showing off the athleticism. 34 yd touchdown run right there by Tyler Shuck. Beautiful play. Shawn Tucker though is going to answer right up the middle. Very physical run right there. Gets it. Puts the score at 1717. And then Tyler Shuck is going to be sacked. No, he’s going to get out of it again. Uses his athleticism. This was the story of the game for the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans goes into Tampa and gets the job done. 24-20. All right, let’s take a look at the Seattle Seahawks taking on the Atlanta Falcons and Rashid Shahid taking the opening kickoff of the second half coast to coast. Basically untouched. Beautiful, beautiful run right there by Rasheed Shahed. And then it was going to be more Sam Darnell. He’s having a great season. He’s going to find Jackson Smith in Jigba over the middle. The timing, the anticipation, and then really just untouched into the end zone. JSN having a year. Seahawks win. They move to 10 and three. Falcons fall to four and nine and fall out of and are officially eliminated from playoff contention. And it’s all playoff right there. You see Seattle number one seed. But if the Rams and Chicago both win, that would put the Chicago in the number one seed. And Tampa and and Carolina, they are tied right now. And they get a chance to play each other twice more in the last four games. And this season has been extremely entertaining. And and I keep thinking about what you said early on in the season. It’s not about how you start, it’s about how you fe finish. And whether it’s your your your schemes starting to become a little dole up against your opponents or like we saw with the Colts, injuries really derailing their season. You know, everybody from uh Armstead to Sauce and then now you got Daniel Jones going down. But still, we got the month of December to figure out who’s going to be the teams going into the postseason with momentum. And I continue to be impressed by the Seattle Seahawks. Special teams, defense, offense. They are a complete football team. There are no trap games on their schedule. And the headline on the month of December bill is what? Finish or be finished? Or be finished. More to come. State Farm postgame show continues. [Music] [Applause]

Way to go out on a limbβ¦. πππππ do ya think sooooo
Lamar's a bum. I hope the Ravens draft a quarterback.
One game does does not change these things:
Teryl Austin sucked everywhere he's been before Pittsburgh and Tomlin, who was expecting greatness, is responsible for that hire AND the results that come with it. He is also responsible for not firing him after a 5 game collapse to end last season. Austin needs fired with an expired contract after 4 games of 30+ points allowed with 5 games to go, cant stop the run – most rushing yards in 50 years, cant get sacks anymore ((both the bills and chargers had 2 OL out with bext to nothing to show for it. In Fact The Bengals were missing an OL and only 1 sacks)). Can't get off the field on 3rd down, most of which are 7+ yards. How many miscommunication excuses have there been the last 4 years? The man is trash – everywhere he's been – and Tomlin is responsible for expecting different results every year with this clown.
Tomlin is responsible for staying in house with OC's Randy Fictner and Matt Canada.
Tomlin is responsible for 2 consecutive years with no WR2.
Tomlin is responsible for the QB situation.
Tomlin is responsible for the strength coach
Tomlin is responsible for the OL coach, who cant motivate the players to get a running game going and cant protect their QB. Tomlin also allows this guy to play players out of their natural position.
Tomlin is mostly responsible for drafting Dan Moore, Chuck Okafor, and Kendrick Greene and then having to draft their replacements all over again.
Tomlin is mostly responsible for piss poor Corners his entire career with the exception of Ike Taylor and Peezy Jr.
Tomlin is mostly responsible for drafting absolutely zero DL, other than Cam, after Hampton, Aaron Smith, and Keisel retired.
Tomlin is responsible for the red flag challenges, and clock management – both of which have been sorry his entire career.
Tomlin is responsible for 61 straight games with less than 7 points in the first qtr.
Tomlin is responsible for 6-11 in their last 17games before today (the equivalent of a full seaseson)
Tomlin is responsible for Kamala Harris-level word salads with quotes such as
Unleash hell
Changes will be made
Historical (defense)
The standard is the standard
Keep watching
Tomlin is responsible for 6 straight 1st round playoff disasters and without a win since Obama was president. In those games, the Steelers have been outscored 73-0 in the 1st qtr. Not only that, in each of those games, they have trailed by 21 points. Finally, the Steelers have never held a lead in any of those games. Tomlin is responsible for all of that.
Struggling to make the planyoffs is one thing, though not excusable. Struggling to reach .500 is something completely different (which is where we are currently). TheSe things have been happening for 10 years now. Tomlin is responsible for that, yet, the national media says give it time. And rooney doesnt directly say it, but his actions do.
Tomlin has plenty of former players saying its time. Not one single former player has stepped forward in his defense.
On the other hand, tomlis is also responsible for:
An 8-8 season with a duck and a reigndeer at QB
No losing seasons (as we sit here today – 12.03.2025)
2 SB appearances…..before the Cowhersexuals get on here with same old "those were Cowhers players"…… keep in mind, neither Cowher nor Tomlin made it to a SB without Dick LeBeau – that man is a god!
Yinz can make up your own minds…………..
So glad the steelers won this game. Now teryl Austin needs to go after this season but they got a much needed win to take first place in the afc north. I hope the Bengals knock off the ravens. They have nothing to play for anymore except to ruin the ravens season
Ref ball prolonging the inevitable. Defense gave up 200+ on the ground again. Offense is still a mess. What's best case scenario? Another home playoff embarrassment against Buffalo?
guys this isnβt good. the nfl hates us and made us win this game so we can continue sucking. every other team has a franchise leading qb except us and we cant even draft high . and tomlin wont get fired. we were 10 seconds away from being 6-7
My man you need to watch your mouth calling Lamar Jackson, bum you a bomb dude. And you can come see me if you want to.
What's with the distorted video of the game?! π€π€π π
None of the AFC North teams deserve a spot in the playoffs.
Since when you need 3 steps? Lol….make it up as you go huh
That game was bs⦠the refs won that game⦠the refs gonna win the AFC North.
Yeah they fucking cheated to save Mike job ππΏ
Lmao
The Ravens loss to a one-armed man. Superbowl… MVP… Bad calls… Nahsirr! A near-retirement one-armed assailant gave 'em an L in their own yard!! Damn
… Jackson out there thinking too much and has difficulty making decisions while processing coverages. If he is unable to take off running, there's problems with the line, half back productivity, or routes being ran by receivers. For the Ravens, if last year wasn't their year, it's bleak pitch-and-toss ahead. Jackson is a draw… But to get to a Superbowl and win— like crabs minus Old Bay Seasoning; it isn't right.
Don't count your chickens before they hatch π£π£π£
Still a lot of football too b played..
Obviously they do though
Music way too loud
Yay, we're the valedictorians of Special Ed.
