I don't know the subs stance on Twitter links so here's the lazy SI 'article' citing Ben Anderson.
Apparently Indiana really likes Kessler as a Myles Turner replacement.
Would you take the Pacers 1st this year and a young player for Kessler?

I’m sure they’d have a meeting about it, since that’s a pretty juicy pick. Seems like the Pacers wouldn’t give that up before the draft lottery.
I would take that, since the pick will likely be high and it’s a rare situation where the trade won’t make it worse with Kessler’s currently hurt.
That said, I can’t see a world where that pick would be on the table, and I wouldn’t do the trade without it.
Pacers have no young player we’d want, not unless it’s a top 4 pick in next years draft for Kessler swap
Mathurin does have potential, but we have Ace, and we don’t need Mathurin as he’s about to be paid probably 25-30 million a year, so I’d just be down to pay Walker Kessler for 35 million a year to keep him instead of taking Mathurin, as a center is a position difficult to find in todays NBA, and he’s a position in need that fits our timeline and roster construction
they’re not giving up their pick lol
We aren’t getting the Pacers’ 1st for Kessler, especially when Kessler is about to get a huge extension.
I’d assume a lot of teams are very interested in him. Probably Lauri too. But the price will be steep.
I’d do it for the pick straight up. That’s gonna be a juicy ass pick. They’d never do it though.
Jazz fans seem to forget Kessler out for a year. Why would anyone trade for him now. He needs to show he can play again and be healthy.
I mean, they have that Tyrese fellow, he’s basically been a non-factor this season so maybe we can get him while his value is low
The Pacers will for sure have some protections on that 2026 pick. It’ll be reckless if the Pacers don’t have that pick at least top 5 protected in any center rumored trade (also rumored they like I.Zubac, D.Gafford). I’ll definitely do it if it’s indeed 5 or better. I wouldn’t be mad at the Jazz front office if they traded W.Kessler for Pacer’s top 7 protected pick. Difficult decisions need to be made in this apron era.
