I don’t care what the tattoos and towels say. This is not a 125M output unless he magnet balls every single 3 ever (unrealistic)
You bring this up and they say “we need to bring in another center to match up with Naz’s minutes”
I’m more annoyed at his stupid plays during end of quarters and crunch time than his terrible defense.
Naz cant defend, Randle doesnt defend
You can say the same thing about randle from the video.Both dont have great help side instincts nor great defensive iq when rudy is off the floor.
I cant even say bad things about naz ried.
Dude is the sole reason why wolves still are considered a deep ass team, without him.
This team has no consistent scorer off the bench and would have struggled against other teams in the playoffs
You guys are obsessed lmao. Yeah, not a great defender but he does have his defensive moments.
He never slides his feel just lets them beat him off the dribble . The one where he standing next to gobert in the low post almost like that’s who he is guarding is just sickening. I’m like get in the gap at least .
See this is what gets me about finch he preaches defense and nazz has so many lapses and they don’t seem to ever fix it and he keeps marching him out there for 20-30 minutes a night .
Where a young player makes a few mistakes and he is dnp the next 5 games .
Should’ve kept NAW instead
Gobert saves the entire team from looking like an all star game on defense
I keep saying this. Also he jumps on every pump fake like a rookie.
The “closeout” at 30 sec is hilarious and so completely typical of Naz.
You can afford one bad defender on the court at a time, not multiple.
Half of those are him covering for a teammate’s blown coverage.
It’s actually hilarious watching teams switch every action to involve Naz when he’s subbed in. If he’s not going nuclear from 3 he is an actual detriment to the team.
I like him but I’d try and trade him. Dream scenario is Naz + Dilly +picks for Derek White.
Then make a separate trade for a guy like Bagley from the Wizards or Reynaud from the Kings.
I hate watching his defense and his shooting is so streaky.
It’s almost like we shouldn’t be forcing a 6’9 scoring PF to play center next to a PF that doesn’t play any defense for half of his minutes every game.
