Braves Sign Suarez
The Atlanta Braves stay active on the free agent market, signing reliever Robert Suarez to a three-year $45 million deal. Jake Mastiani here from a locked on Braves. And you knew once the Atlanta Braves declined the options of Tyler Kinley and Pierce Johnson early in the offseason, they had to go out and make a big splash. And bringing back Riceella Glaciius just wasn’t enough. There had to be more to it. And here it is with the addition of Robert Suarez. that now gives you two legitimate closers in your bullpen with the Glaciius and Suarez who has been every bit as good over the last several years with the Padres and they now have two really strong right-handed arms in the back of their bullpen. It’s also insurance in case Joe Jimenez is not ready for the beginning of the season. So, love this move from the Atlanta Braves. Big signing for them.
