All right. So, earlier today, uh, Robert Suarez signed a three-year deal with the Atlanta Braves. Three years, $45 million. That’s a bullpen arm that I would have loved for the Yankees to pick up. I think, you know, that contract is pretty reasonable. Um, I know generally speaking, the Yankees don’t like to spend a lot of money on bullpen arms. However, that’s a guy that I would have wanted. So, um, Braves, the Braves got themselves a a good reliever. Now, there’s been reports saying that, and this is according to Robert Murray, that um teams are not liking what the Yankees are offering. So, you know, whatever neg uh talks that they’ve had with uh Brian Cashman this week, uh teams are not liking uh what the Yankees are offering in terms of trades, you know, contract, money, right? So, here’s the way I see it. I know a lot of folks are are are wondering, you know, what has Cash been doing? But I asked this question on the flip side. What are teams asking for from the Yankees? You know, no nobody nobody seems to be talking about that. What are teams asking for from the Yankees? You know, so because there was a there was a report that came out yesterday saying that, you know, Cody Bellinger is looking for seven years and the Yankees are standing firm at at five. Can you blame them? I certainly don’t. And you got to wonder what what uh what what the other team’s demands are, what the other, you know, players that are free agents, what their demands are, what their what the agents like, what Scott Boris, guys like him, you know, what are they asking for, right? And if you think and if you’ve been paying attention, which I know a lot of you have been, the off season has been relatively slow compared to previous years. There hasn’t been a whole lot of action. Usually during the winter meetings there’s a lot of action. There’s been some but nothing uh this has been a little bit slower than previous years and in general a lot of teams are you know holding they’re holding back. They’re not meeting they’re not trying to they’re not meeting the demands of what these players and what teams are look are are asking for. So, you know, I I I I think, you know, you’re you you’re going to you’re going to see stuff like this because the the asking price from teams and free agents are is ridiculously high. So, you got to wonder who’s going to crack first and when when is it going to happen. So, you know, just some food for thought, you know, and again with the in Yankees case with Brian Kman, a lot of again a lot of teams are not liking what Cashman’s offering, but what are they asking for from Brian Cashman cuz, you know, he’s a guy that doesn’t like to get fleeced, but and he’s going to stand firm. Love him or hate him. Anyway, let me know what you all think about this. I’ll see you all later.

I have a feeling its because always want more from yankees than other wants less
Great channel. I agree. NFC. Yankees are holding pat because teams tend to ask the yankees for too much also. Not just with what the Yankees want. I agree.
Nothing is going to happen until Tucker is off the board.
Teams are not going over 5 years on contracts it's not the aav. The players union should look into filing a collusion lawsuit against MLB's owners as leverage going into the CBA. This is clearly collusion by the owners. They pulled this bullshit back in the 80s so there already is proof of prior behavior by the MLB and the owners..
I mean I'm not a Cashman fan but that's how trades work. You make an offer & try to meet in the middle.
The Yankees need players without giving up a lot. So these teams better accept the offers
