I just want to have this feeling again, how do we recapture the magic of this era?
December 11, 2025
I just want to feel like I did when I was rooting for this squad, what a time, every game had me really excited and optimistic. The team is pretty good right now but it doesn't feel nearly as fun to watch.

love this clip. that magical underdog spirit. awooo
Man, I miss KAT.
Funny shit! 🤣
It’s never as magical as that first, unexpected run. No expectations so everything is a bonus. The downside of winning is that you’re from then on expecting to win and anytime you take even a small step back or just don’t look exceptional it’s disappointing.

(pretend it’s Kat)
At this point? A championship will probably get you to or close to that feeling.
But you’re not alone. We all miss the feeling that team gave us 😢
This is an all time great press conference answer.
You can never go home again
Its easy to be a fan of a young team that has no expectations and overachieves. Now we are in the big leagues and have to enjoy our team when there are expectations. Much more challenging imo.
I’m not being mean, are you guys like 13? 7 short years ago we won 19 games. The sky is not falling.
Last year in the playoffs. You forget the doom and gloom at the end of that season here with many thinking we were going to get whooped by Phoenix.
I mean they were just in the WCF again. Healthy Steph that series probably goes to 7 games. The first time was a better experience for sure, but I thoroughly enjoyed this last post season until it ended
I’d have never traded KAT
We have to suck for a very long time and then be good again. That’s how.
Don’t trade an all nba player coming of a western conference finals run so you can keep inconsistent role players would be the answer.
man
the whole 23-24 season was like the ‘smiling thru it all can’t believe this my life’ bron meme
Go back in time and stop the CBA
Not having the second apron
I still wish we ran it back. KAT deserved that.
I know there were issues with that team’s offense, but they were so big and had an elite defense. Felt like they had a team identity, where we could stand behind something and say ‘we are the best at this one thing, and that will be why we won the championship’.
Looking back few years – Denver had the best offensive player of the decade. Boston had the deepest team in the league. OKC had the best defensive team in the league last year and the MVP.
I think that identity comes from coaching & front office at the end of the day, and this current team, just doesn’t have that.
I don’t miss Kat. Sorry. Love him, wish him the best.
There were a few really great interviews/moments from this playoff run, I miss those days
I’m just happy the team is consistently good each year I’ve given up on caring for any championship it’s not worth my time but the fact that I WANT to watch every Timberwolves game is huge and Kat was the beginning and I’m thankful for his time here it’s just fun to watch a competitive team in any sport especially when it’s your home team.
That was literally two years ago.
I honestly don’t really care what else it would have cost us, I would have given it all it just have an Ant/KAT duo for their careers.
