Dude sounds and looks miserable. A lot already speculating whether Burrow could be traded in the future. Bengals will miss the playoff for the 3rd straight season in 2025. He’s been getting hurt a lot since the team made the Super Bowl and AFC title game in back to back seasons in 2021 and 2022. Mostly due to a continuing poor OL play around him and also their defense continues to be bad with due to bad drafting with their front office which is one of the smallest in the league due to the cheapness of the owner not wanting to pay to staff up on scouting for the organization.
Many have already brought up Palmer who was a former #1 overall pick for the Bengals who basically threatened to retire before he got traded to the Raiders years ago. Also a lot have brought up Luck and how injuries and the lack of help from the Colts front office in not building a championship roster around him also caused him to retire prematurely Sanders and C.Johnson with the Lions also mentioned as great players who retired because they got tired of losing.
Makes you wonder if Burrow does demand to get traded what kind of trade offers he’d get. If we look at two “great” QBs who have been traded over the last 5 or so years.
* Watson to the Browns for 3 1st, 3rd, 2 4ths, 5 years 230 million dollar contract (fully guaranteed)
* Stafford to the Rams for 2 1st, 3rd, and Goff
Big question if if 49ers would be interested. We already know they were interested in both Watson and Stafford the offseason they were traded. Thank god it didn’t happen with Watson as that would’ve been as big or bigger of a disaster than the Lance trade both on and off the field.
But I know a lot of 49ers fans right now will always wonder if the 49ers somehow traded for Stafford in 2021 if they would’ve won a Super Bowl with him over the past 4 seasons since he was traded. Not that the 49ers have any shot as that package from the Rams was going to beat whatever package the 49ers realistically could’ve offered with the big caveat being the Lions got a good young starting caliber QB in Goff who has turned into a franchise QB for them where as I doubt the Lions would’ve wanted somebody like Garoppolo in any trade involving the 49ers along with the multiple top picks that needed to be included.
I doubt the Bengals would trade Burrow this offseason with teams like the Vikings, Rams if Stafford retires after this season, Giants who could have the #1 overall pick in the 2026 draft as possible trade suitors. But let’s say in a year or two when Burrow is 30 years old or 31 years old that the Bengals continue to be a mess and Burrow does ask for a trade. I think most 49ers fans would take Burrow over Purdy even if Purdy establishes himself as a legit top 10-ish QB in the NFL which I believe he will be. But like was the case with the Rams back in 2021 they saw the obvious upgrade with Stafford from Goff and were aggressive in a trade and it put them over the top. You wonder if the 49ers and Shanahan/Lynch would also pull the trigger on something similar if Burrow were to be made available.
Am i supposed to enjoy his 13 less touchdowns, but only 3 less interceptions having played roughly a third of the games? This post is still raw

Indeed, I do love it
Little Brocko should be lower tbf
Lol rankings are dumb. Who would really take Purdy over frog man Mahomes
give me a break here, I enjoy that but that’s nutso. Brock has 8 fewer games and only 3 fewer INTs.
Brock isn’t really having the greatest season himself lol but I do believe if he can stay healthy, he will easily surpass his 2023 season
Enjoy what? Like wtf are we talking about
They missed the 1 Douglass 🕺🏽
Burrow ranks #9. Speaking of. Has anybody seen Burrow’s press conference recently?
