Bart Scott, Willie Colon, and Connor Rogers react to Jets’ win over Falcons
Once a folk hero, always a folk
hero to these are trapped by the wheel yours today. Well, except for its got really
cool own. Kind of Rogers is good overtake. They don’t make it
easy, do they? They never pick an easy, but I wish you could
have seen the reaction on this set as that jungle is going
through. The kick goes up, not only the mix and we all went, I missed it.
And then Willie, do you want to just go with what the reaction
was after that? We got it. Okay, we won. Listen, they’re a lot of good
things you could talk about in this game is the Jets win for
the third time this season. Now, 3 and 9 on the year. 32 27,
the final Adonai Mitchell flashed big-time
first 100 yard game. First career touchdown Tyrod
Taylor, especially down the stretch
utilizing, both his arms and his legs to get the Jets tied and ultimately get them to
Victory. But I think, I mean, why not?
Let say, and let’s start, let’s, let’s go. We’re going
around this way, all the way back to Bart, Nick Folk. I mean,
he has been phenomenal this season at age, 41 agency, At this point, he knew
exactly the kind of kick. He had to hit in that it was a low
Line Drive kind of snuck it in the bottom left pocket right there
because let’s be real at this age. He doesn’t have, you know,
that booming kick that we see from guys like Aubrey on Dallas
and stuff but he had enough leg on it really well done. Even if
the Jets go, most screwed it up there on that final drive with
the false start. That’s not great. Gotta clean that up. But Adonai
Mitchell game ball to me, this guy is playing for the
future of his career and he’s out there getting open Non-Stop Finishing plays, that was a
problem. The first time we saw
him catching the ball. From Justin
Fields, is not catching the ball and this game he was
finishing plays Tie Rod leaned on him. He was the primary read
over and over again and the defense did enough in this
game. Bijan Robinson had a day, but they did enough to keep the
opposition and check and listen at the end of got a
little hairy there but throughout the game, we saw some
better decision-making from Aaron, Glenn signs of
growth. From a young coaching staff are absolutely Willie
before you go 27:24. The final, not 32:27 my fault. Yeah, the
first half was a snoozer. Second house. Second half seemed
like both teams to kind of got in a rhythm and you know,
listen it for an old guy like tire rod when
this cold is rainy and you know, you’re trying to figure it
out. I thought he could beat it. I thought the officer
responded to his energy, but all yeah, I give no, excuse me, Nick Folk all the credit you miss a big
kick. The game is on your leg and you pull through. So I play
with Nick. I know Bart did man. We’re happy for the old fellow
to finally. Get the game-winner is good to see ya. I mean you talk about this
is what you want to see. You want to see competitive
football. You want to see the mistake? It’s limited. Would you like to be better
against the Run? Yeah, but I mean BJ Robinson is a special
back and your cowl pitch was their leading receiver. So you
know the be able to come through at the end to be able to
make enough plays. You know I thought met she struggled today a little
bit, right? And with the drops and I’m sure that’s
something that he’ll go back. He’ll try and work on. But the
fact that you get the victory at home in bad conditions, you
didn’t let that become a problem. You know you talk about the Special Teams
continues to be special when you talk about, you know,
the the muffed punt, you know, that’s The punter and it’s weird
cakes and stuff like that, and then Isaiah Williams, you know, with the big return
you would like to see him kick through and get the touchdown.
But you know he got there and even at the end, right? He just
needed a couple yards, positive yards, you know. I think he made
a mistake in that field in the first ball before and pin them back, kind
of messed them up where they had to kind of concede. But you
know, this is one that, you know, the team should feel happy
about. You know, they came out, it was wet. Nobody
likes to play with his wet and cold. We hate these type of
games that used to happen to us really, when wearing Cleveland.
Like, as always wet, the grass is cold but they found a way to
stay positive and you know, I thought I ride did enough and I thought, you know, this is
a good team win solid against a solid opponent. Yes. I
know their record doesn’t dictate that they’re good
opponent but you know, this is a team that had high
expectations as playing with their backup quarterback but
still have a lot of talent, a little football
team for even though Drake London wasn’t there, but
then we were less Gary Wilson. So I also want to say this we
you know, we’re critical of Aaron. Glenn are a lot of
levels. Steam has given up on them now they have not. And so I
think that needs to be said, I mean you talk about you lose
some of your star guys. The record doesn’t you know seem
like you have anything to fight for you really ready to
plan your Sandals vacation. But you know, the last two weeks
man. We’ve seen this team really kind of knuckle up and
put their foot in the middle ring and bang it out. And that’s
something to be talked about on Parade. So and it felt like it felt like
the line was so good for three quarters and then that last
Drive they started to feel a little bit overwhelmed in the
past script and credit to Tyrod Taylor when they did because he
escaped a couple times and bailed out a couple of guys and
made a play. He still showed the mobility
there as well, so just overall, you know, I
thought still a solid day for them despite that tough final
moment, the Deep ball, touchdown Adonai Mitchell, the
past Pro was perfect on that play. So we’re just seeing steps from
young players and key spots. And that’s the most important thing
of this season. Right now the winds are nice. But growth
from young players is something
that they hope carries over to next
season. Yeah, absolutely. And like you said the growth from
the young players is the key, but if you look at today’s game it was a couple of old guys in
Tyrod, Taylor and new folk at
the That pushed him over the top right Tyrod, Taylor joking.
About the fact that the, the young guys on the team,
don’t think he has the legs
still, but he showed it today. And he
also showed again, that arm still there. I mean,
the balmy through 280 Mitchell, but one of the things that we
talked about on pregame specifically, when we said all
right, what do we want to see from tie-rod this week as a step
forward from last week? I think it was Connor who said, hey, take more shots downfield
and they certainly did that today, always looking at number
15, the rules are just so dictated against you as a cover
Corner in the league. Where if you’re the Fence. You’re usually going to get
positive results on those shots. Even if you don’t finish
the play because we saw the interference call that
Adonai Mitchell Drew today
earlier it was a ball that was short but
the corner carry them forward and that’s interference in this
league. And then you look at this one kind of a one-on-one
coverage situation for at and I have the corner falls down, he kind
of feels it like a pun deep down the field. So it’s worth taking those shots
down the field to put stress on the defense and forces them to
sit on their heels and it opens things up underneath guys.

In happy with the win. Couldn’t lose to the Falcons.
Glad DC called blitzes at key points. Wilks need to be more aggressive. D could not stop the run all day. Wilks needs to devise a scheme vs good running backs.
I'm still concerned about AG's coaching decisions. Why run a play with no timeouts and 12 seconds left and in range for 51 yard field goal?
Nice win today!
Think about this for a moment the NY Jets have lost five game by a touchdown. Of those five games we have lost three by two points. Aaron Glenn questionable coaching has also cost us several games. Great team we. The special teams have been the best unit on the Nay Jets all season.
So dumb.jers cant even loose right.all we are doing is costing ourselves in the rebuild.
AD getting open Wilson doesn’t man he will be next to go if we get good picks or some good trades
Great game loved it!!
The Falcons had TWO crucial drops at the end… this was a LOSS… that didn't happen
I dint not realize how bad the Falcons aee
Sorry Willie, but, you’ve got to burn that blazer!
Great show
Great game
Special Teams and AD Mitchell were the stars ⭐️ today!
Best things : seeing what, mitchell is about, on Atlanta getting a look at Kyle Pitts a possible free agent next season
Kirk Cousins….enough said!
This is the only place I go post game baby
I would definitely like to have Kyle Pitts on our team together with Mason Taylor could our Offense dangerous
Let’s Folkin Go🙌🏽
Connor "Connor 'Drake Maye' Rogers" Rogers
There goes the 1st pick.
Never root for losses .
The guy with the gray tie is a hater of the Jets, not a fan.
Bye,bye Fernando.
Keep winning build just like they did in Detroit get his players in there and keep building
Good win!
Good idea finally having Bart go last 😆
🎉we won a meaningless game and killed are pick woooped de do 🎉🎉
BART – the head of Kings Court!
If you doubt AG, stay on that side.
I'm happy to see the Jets win but even better to do it against Kirk Cousins.
Tanner Engstrand only asked Justin Fields to do what Tyrod did today and he played way too slow mentally to do it. We would have more wins if Tyrod was the starter all season. I’d bring back Tyrod with whoever they trade up to draft next season. Start Tyrod unless the rookie beats him out for the job. Keep rocking AG
Every football game week 13 was TOP TIER
😂 👏👏 Lets Go Jets 🏈
Jets would be 6-6 if they had started Tyrod from the beginning of the season.
Lets goooo ✈️
You play to WIN the game !!!
– – – – – Herm Edwards
The Falcons (special teams) literally gave you 10 points.
If raheem wasn't Atlanta's coach yall would have lost 97 to -36.
Why is everyone overlooking Austin Mcnamara. The kid is AWESOME!
Finally the boys are happy seeing improvement
