So we’re planning to move some outfielders?
This is a reclamation project, not as much so as Andrew Vaughn, but this guy has tools we can work with. He will compete with Mitchell/Lockridge/Collins for the 5th OF spot. He can move up and down without penalty, and there’s actually a good reason as to why he won’t be on the roster much of this season. We will get an extra year out of him if we keep his service time to below 4 years, so strategy is to get him right in AAA in 2026 and possibly seeing more of him in 2027.
Everyone think’s we have this massive OF depth has short term memory loss. Our farm system is also incredibly thin at OF. The only guy to get excited about is Luis Lara, otherwise the list is pretty short IMO.
Lastly, this could mean we see Issac Collins come in to play some IF.
