I wonder how much longer the Browns will have Deshawn’s stink stuck on them
The falcons are an oxymoron. Sack leaders while being at the bottom of the league
We finally have a competent defense and elite pass rush and sure as shit our offense sucks.
It’s like a pendulum, both sides cannot be good at the same time.
It’s going to be weird going into an offseason and not looking at the FA scrap heap and squinting to see what retread veteran maybe could get to 5 sacks if things go just right as our big hope
The sacks are definitely an improvement, but we’re still giving up a lotta points because we lack good coverage corners and our run defense is anemic.
Well, that’s progress at least.
And progress in an area that has been lacking for almost 2 decades.
Can’t forgive the other roster fuck ups however. Not if the goal is to get to the playoffs and make noise one day.
55 sacks with 4 games left is insane
Elephant in the room is obviously our “QB problem”. Who knows what 2026 will bring, but we live and die on having solid QB play.
Draft/sign another CB and find a WR2 to compliment London. Probably franchise tag Pitts, which is a win for both Pitts and the Falcons. I don’t think he’s put up the numbers this year to command a massive deal, so tagging him gives him another shot at securing that large contract.
Honestly, its our QB and coach, there are the glaring holes. Morris is a dud and I’m concerned about Penix’s legs constantly failing him. Fire Morris, clean house, bring in a fresh face, and see if the 49ers are interested in trading Mac Jones. Iffy on that last one, but they need to find a solid backup for Penix that doesn’t cost “Cousins money”.
