I know Jarry is a liability sometimes, is this a good haul for him?
I think it’s very risky for this year. Pens are right there fighting for a playoff spot, and Jarry is a big reason why. If Shilovs/Murashov/Skinner don’t play as well as him and they don’t make the playoffs in what could be Malkin’s last year. Thats a real bad look that could be remembered for years.
HOLY SHIT SOMEONE TOOK JARRY!!!!!
I have feelings. I hope this is a positive move for both of them, I’m sure getting out of Edmonton is good for Stu. Throwing Jars into that environment… 😬
Also waiting to see my Edmonton-but-specifically-Skinner fan 11yo’s reaction. And I bought him a Skinner jersey for xmas…
We give Jarry a lot of shit but he’ll always be remembered for his time in the black and gold.
Only wishing him the best in Edmonton.
Rejoice!

Thanks, I hate it 😕
Nothing more fitting after his terrible play last night!
The problem with Jarry is he is as good as he is bad.
Is everyone forgetting Blomquist? Im guessing we see Stu and Silovas under trade deadline or injury , someone gets dealt and then we see the kids.
I’m really not a fan of giving up Poulin, but getting a defenseman back isn’t the worst thing. But we’re just going from 1 meme goalie to another y’all
Jarry is either going to kill it in Edmonton or fall flat on his face.
Regardless of feelings for Jarry, its still sad. Feels like an end of the Fleury era where Fluery left, then we stuck with Murray and then we had another young phenom goalie in Jarry waiting. How quickly things escalated in a bad way after 2017. Murray cant live up to his hype being the sole starter, then we get rid of him and Jarry takes over and you’re thinking okay we are still good, Jarry is the future. Then a few up and down years of inconsistency and Jarry having a really bad playoff vs the Isles and now here we are with all 3 gone. They had to go with Murray, but fuck if it doesn’t hurt that we should have kept Fleury. So Pens went from 3 really good goalies or seemingly good, to 2 then none. Never would have predicted this future after 2017.
How much is Skinner’s cap hit?
They’re releasing Matt Dumba today
Love the 2nd round pick
Irrespective of Jarry’s performance moving forward this is an excellent trade from our side as it frees up at least one NHL spot next season for Murashov or Blomqvist. The fact that we didn’t need to take bake a long term contract or use a retention and then got a 2nd on top is phenomenal.
It’s a shame to see both Jarry and poulin go but at least we get good value back for them when it looked like we could have easily ended up with nothing
Poulin didn’t seem to have any nhl future. He seems to be taking the long term AHL career imo
Hopefully, he has better shootout experience
Thank god. Jarry is ass

Is Kulak good?
Clearly both the pens and jarry needed a change. I am happy with the trade. I wish him the best but yeah jarry was ass for the last couple seasons.
YEEEEAAAAHHH SKINNERRRRRRRR
I know he can be hot and cold performance-wise, but I have complete faith that that winning smile and janitor broom ‘stache will take him to the top. I will defend him with my LIFE
Finally we have a fcking goalie who can stop a beach ball
Skinner or more likely Silovas will be in the ahl within two weeks. Murashov will be up with the big club. They did this move because they believe Murashov is ready.
So long TJ. Don’t come back.
I hope Jarry finds his game and has a good finish to his career. I think his confidence wasn’t here anymore. Maybe he needs change. We got a good deal. Maybe things work out for both. Thanks for your long tenure Jars. It’ll be fun to play against you.
The Poulin era ends without a whimper. Swing and a miss first first-rounder. The second-round pick is intriguing. Who knows what the Oilers will be like in three years?

I’m an Edmonton and a Stu fan, and a Stu realist. I think he’ll be great for yall. He was thrust into a starter position under very unideal circumstances and had to adapt really quickly. During the SCFs last year Grant Fuhrer stuck up for Stu and said that playing in Edmonton is one of the hardest cities to play goalie in.
I fully believe Stu will do better in a city where people aren’t whispering death threats to his wife in a Safeway because the $20m cap hit d line decided to take a nap in the last nights game thus throwing Stu under the bus.
Dubas you freaking magician!
This is Dubas’ best move yet. Unreal
Got to see Jarry score in Tampa. I’ll miss him for that moment alone.

Take care of Stu, Penguin fans. You got a gem.
Sooooooo many of you owe Kyle Dubas an apology, right now
LETS FUCKINN GOOOOOO
Add Tomlin to the trade
Hey Pens fandom, Wild fan here.
I don’t ever post on other team subs, but I just wanted to thank the Pens.
Just when I thought I couldn’t laugh at Edmonton more, you guys did *this.*
How the fuck did you guys sell Tristan fucking Jarry *and* not retain a dime of his awful contract?
Holy fuck. No salary retention?
As a caps fan I’m upset to say that the pens won anything, but no salary retention? What a win for the Pittsburgh
