What is this? We’re not sending draft capital for Sabonis.

  1. Three seconds is draft capital…

I don’t particularly like his archetype (why I didn’t want Queen either…), but if the price is low enough (aka glorified salary dump), pull the trigger.

  2. I don’t know if he’s been injured or whatever but he ain’t the same player he was in Sacramento I don’t know if he offers any kind of value tha the wiz need. He doesn’t move the needle

  3. 100% these rumors come from the Kangs to drive up his value. Not even worth looking at.

One of the nicest things about this front office is how few leaks come out of it. On top of the obvious, they haven’t made nothing but solid to excellent moves so far.

  4. It’s Kings bullshit to drum up interest…were tanking and not sending out young players and picks for this bozo.

  5. This guy is not a reputable reporter he’s just aggregating and makin up what he thinks Wizards would do because Amick says we’re interested

    This isn’t happening

  6. Probably won’t happen but Sarr would be a perfect fit for Sarr. Just get boards and post up while Sarr can stretch the floor and protect the rim. May be worth a protected pick if it helps develop the team

  7. If we did this I would be seriously out on this FO. Rn I’m high on this teams future but I would seriously be depressed lol.

  8. We have a shit ton of 2nd rounders, which really do nothing for us. As long as it isn’t for anything substantial, Sabonis is probably better than any other big that’s upcoming in free agency, and he’s young enough where he can be flipped and or he’ll probably command another contract. Pretty much a win win for him and us.

  9. I would consider not watching this season if WE give up draft capital for Sabonis. Bigs that can’t defend at any level and/or stretch the floor consistently with good volume are not valuable anymore.

Also would we even be interested in anybody on the Kings roster besides Keon Ellis?

  10. I wouldn’t mind the wizards trading for a legit player this year to let fans know they will try to compete next year. Give up anything except our young guys and our 2026 1st.

  11. I say we take the trade with a pick swap starting in a couple years but top 5 protections until 2028.

It would be nice to have good players again.
