Bro already speed running legacies at this point
Dude has the mentality of those 90s players but the efficiency of a modern guard. If OKC stays healthy, 73 wins isn’t even unrealistic. Just hope he doesn’t burn himself out chasing it before playoffs.
He got the right mindset.
This a unpopular opinion, but SGA is gonna go down as a top 5 player of all-time when his career is done.
Downvote me I can handle it.
Nah SGA you’re doing it wrong. What you should want is like 4 more uncontested rebounds so you can have a bunch of triple doubles on a worse team
That’s the right mindset to have
Yeah, except GSW needed 71 wins to clinch the top seed in the Wear. If the Thunder get too far ahead, management will start demanding longer runs for the bench guys regardless of game script.
Plus and I cannot stress this enough. GSW did not win. The title thst year.
when did ariel helwani get nba creds?
Does this officially mean that they’re going for it?
OKC is 72-10 in the last 82 games. It’s not really a stretch
Breaking news, nba player says winning does in fact matter. Even if it’s just in the regular season. I always appreciate honest answers instead of the typical “we’re just focused on the next game” ones.
There was a correct answer to this question and he nailed it
Lots of people I interact with in competitive environments seem to think differently. Very thankful for this team.
I love this dude
80-2
Hard to see them losing a game at this stretch 🤣
“Is it notable?” Yeah it’s pretty notable to win the most games in a season ever dummy.
Dammit stop being so cool and likeable
He may not be a trash-talker, or the loudest guy in the locker room, but he is undoubtedly a killer
Hooper
Winning the most games of all time as the best player on the team does seem quite valuable. Some would even say the most valuable.
Haters mad that he is stat padding wins now.
This season, I choose to live vicariously as a Kentucky fan through OKC, since the Cats are trash and we can at least claim SGA and Wallace.
Refreshing to hear
Hell yeah as a sports fan this answer rules. If my dudes said this I’d be amped
Winning matters
I’m not a huge NBA fan. I’m a stats and numbers fan and I fucking love this. Generally in all sports guys downplay chasing records whether it’s being humble or trying to draw attention away from the fact… I LOVE that he’s like yeah “winning matters”
They have the second best offense and the best defense in the league. They have a +17.4 point differential which is over 7 points higher than second in the NBA.
Stop being likable Shai. You’re not dragging me up with you
