Since 2013 under Howie (who gained control of personnel that year) and Jeff (minus the 2015 season where Howie was relegated to the basement)
-
Playoffs in 9 of the last 13 seasons
-
10 Playoff Wins
-
3 Super Bowl Appearances
-
2 Super Bowl Wins
Record of 118-74-1 (.614 Win Percentage, 6th best of the 32 teams behind the Chiefs, Patriots, Seahawks, Packers and Ravens)
With all the criticism (which they shouldn’t be immune to) it’s clear that Jeff and Howie know what they’re doing and have consistently put this team in a position to be great. This is the best run organization in the city bar none and they will right the ship.

Can I we stop this pathetic posting as a fanbase?
It is a great organization, but there is something systemic about them that stops them from having dynasty potential. This is first world problems, but still a real pattern we’ve seen three times this last decade.
The copium lately is crazy
Need Jeff to step in rn
OP is 100% right. But I think it goes back farther to the McNabb days in terms of being a quality franchise. Basically when Lurie came in. A few mistakes here and there but it’s mostly been winning records and playoffs, and now we have multiple superbowl wins.
The current frustrations are more about the fact that we’ve seen it coming since about week 3.
Just wait until the playoffs. I can guarantee they have been holding the good plays back to keep them off film.
Since 2000 they have been to NFC Championship 8 times. They have played in 4 Super Bowls and won 2.
At the end of the day, these short term overreaction takes are the sign of fans that feel we should be a dynasty
Never mind the fact that this season isn’t over the playoffs aren’t over or even started and the story of this years team isn’t even fully written yet. But the endless negatives will tell you they know how this year ends. And maybe they do, but that shit is fucking unknowable.
It’s amazing that the fans think that they know more than Lurie and Howie about football. They are in it for the long game and no organization has done it better over the years. They are not adverse to making major moves (trading McNabb, trading Wentz etc) to change the trajectory of the team. Playoffs are around the corner. Give them the benefit of the doubt. They earned it….
Absolutely. While I’m realistic about our chances this year, I’ve been a fan since I was a kid in the 60s, and lived through some horrible situations with the Eagles. Our success starts at the top, and there’s no better owner in football than Jeff Lurie. I am NOT looking forward to the day he sells this team.
Yeah but we suck this season bad and 3 losses in a row? If we’re so great we need to turn it around yesterday.
I looked it up, we won TWO playoff games during my entire elementary, junior high, high school, and undergrad years (1986 to Dec 2000).
I cannot believe the success we’ve had since then.
Whats with all this self-positivity and pep talkin – this shit is for other cities, not philly. GTFO here.
Fire Patullo.
It goes back a lot further than 2013. Lurie (and Banner) had some stumbles and learned on the job a little, but they set the tone from the start that they intended to be forward thinking and prioritize not just a season, but overall long term stability and organizational stability and effectiveness.
A great organization would not employ Kevin patullo
This is a great organization that LOVES DRAMA
