DeMeco Ryans should be a coach of the year candidate

Annoyingly Vrabel is probably going to run away with it but if we win out, I think Demeco has a chance.
Love what he’s done overall, but until he learns a proper two minute drill execution, nope.
Hot take. Love Meco and what he’s done with this team and defense but his lack of accountability with the offense should keep him out of the race.
The fact we started 0-3 and are now fighting for a playoff spot is hard to believe, so he definitely needs to be in the convo at least.
If we win the south then yes. Our schedule is exponentially harder than the patriots schedule and that should matter.
No chance. We’ve won our division 2 years in a row and nothing about our team has been surprising, an amazing defense winning us games like last year.
He should’ve won in 2023 but the Browns were the media darling after he who shall not be named went down (despite the fact that they still traded for him).
Don’t think this a hot take. If we get to the playoffs and win the division he has to be the front runner. Only other candidate would be the Seattle coach.
Scrolling through I did forget about some candidates so yeah this would be a lot more competitive.
If we win out and win the division I can see it happening but the clear front runners have to Mike vrabel or Ben Johnson
Im extremely and wish he would win. He was suppose to win in his rookie year but they gave it to Stephanski i think. However this year it should go to either Vrabel or Sean McVay
I don’t think he’d even with Coach of The Year on this cesspool sub lol. When the defense has a couple bad drives, it’s “they’re not coached well at all. Tired of him. We need a real head coach.” When the defense locks up yet another QB for less than 220 yards, the narrative is “Burke’s a great play caller” and “Caserio did an excellent job drafting.”
People like to ignore that he inherited a team of journeymen and now he has the hottest team with a historical defense that’s been dropping bodies on a brutal schedule while the Patriots have had the easiest schedule in the league.

I would argue that this year has been more impressive than 2023 when he should have won. Still 4 games left, if we go 3-1 or better 100% it should be. They will give it Vrabel because they have no sense of context
I agree but there are better candidates this year. Crazy that half of the posts in September were calling for his head.
That reward is cursed, they don’t give it to good coaches
Vrabel unfortunately is going to win it. McDonald deserves it more and Ryan shouldn’t even be in serious consideration. He’s simply letting the defense not lose it for him.
