Chiefs, Lions. Nah. The LA Rams are the NFL’s scariest team right now. Stafford’s unstoppable. McVey is a genius. Hot take. If Aaron Donald returns, the league is cooked. Agree or fight me? The best team in the National Football League in your opinion entering the final four weeks of the season is this tough one. I’m going to go with the Los Angeles Rams. I just think that Matthew Stafford is playing out of his mind. Puka Nakua is big time. Vonte Adams with what he’s doing is a reliable weapon in the in the red zone obviously in you know getting touchdowns closing the deal for you and that defense um is is is special enough to make that kind of noise and I think that Shawn McVey is arguably the best coach in all of football. I think uh you know right now coach of the years between Vel and Ben Johnson in my estimation because of what’s been going on in New England and Chicago what the expectations were what they’ve done to exceed them. Oh, but Shawn McVey is just a steady hand. And I found myself actually fantasizing just like you had Brandon Graham come out of retirement to play for Philadelphia. What if Aaron Donald had decided to do that for the Los Angeles? I mean, it ain’t going to happen in all likelihood, but you you watching the Rams play this year, seeing how formidable they are. I actually found myself fantasizing about Aaron Donald returned to the Los Angeles Rams because I think they’re a big time team and I think they have a big time coach. Well, I mean, I can pretty much say with certainty that the Rams have called Aaron Donald about that more times than the Colts have called Philip Rivers. You know, I just don’t think Aaron wants to do it. But it is it it would obviously put the Rams even on a on a different plane. On the opposite end of the spectrum, you’ve got a two 15- win teams from last year, Chiefs and the Lions on the outside looking in. The Lions have a much better shot to make it than the Chiefs who really need a lot uh to get some help. You’ve got the Vikings potentially the Super Bowl will be there in Santa Clara watching who are you Rams and else or what? I started the season thinking Philly and Baltimore. Let me put myself on front street about that. Um I don’t think that’s going to be the case now. I honestly believe that the Los Angeles Rams are probably going to the Super Bowl. I really really do. I believe as long as they don’t you can beat Seattle but you don’t want to have to go to Seattle to do it. You want them to have to come to so far. going to Seattle is a different monster altogether, but I’m still picking the Rams. They’ll likely come out of the NFC. Next, Lions at Rams. The Rams are six-point favorites. If I was going to bet this game, Deonte, I’d bet the Rams because I’m very confident the Rams are going to win, but Detroit and Dan Campbell have had a lot of success against the Rams and though they’ve been come down to the wire games. So that’s a mark in favor of taking Detroit plus the six. But I think this is probably a Rams 2824 win, but it’s a stay away because of that. I like the Rams. I don’t want to lay the points. I don’t love betting underdogs if I don’t think they can win outright unless they’re getting more than a touchdown. So I’m staying away next. Rams minus 5 and a half is the play. My favorite bet clinch a playoff spot with a win. So, it matters a lot for the Rams and they’ve won seven of eight games, many comfortably. They have the fewest offensive mistakes in the league. They don’t get penalized. They don’t get sacked. They don’t give the ball away. And now they’re at home against the Lions team searching for an offensive identity. The Lions averaging 13 points a game in their three road losses. I This is two teams that feel like one’s totally in rhythm, one is out of rhythm. Right now, Jared Goff is facing a 38% pressure rate. They can’t pick up first downs on third or fourth. Matt Stafford at home this year has been unbelievable. He’s got time to throw. I think the Rams win and the Rams cover. Final score 3326. The Los Angeles Rams are the best team entering the final four weeks. Period. Not maybe, not if they stay healthy. They look like a team that already knows how January ends because they play like a team that’s sick of waiting. They’re 103. They’re at home at SoFi in week 15. And they’re not just stacking wins, they’re stacking proof. The Rams play with that rare combination that makes opponents flinch. clean offense, veteran quarterback control, and a defense that’s nasty enough to close the door. If Detroit doesn’t adjust, Stafford will slice them up and make it look effortless, which is the most disrespectful thing a quarterback can do. But Stafford isn’t doing this alone because his weapons aren’t just talented, they’re built to torture defenses in different ways. Here’s what makes the Rams terrifying. You can’t take away the star because the Rams brought a whole damn constellation. Cooper Cup is big-time third downs, tough catches, chain moving, the kind of receiver who turns great coverage into too bad. Puka Nakqua is the motionheavy nightmare routes that keep shifting, breaking defenders leverage, forcing corners to communicate like their lives depend on it. And then there’s Devonte Adams, the red zone reliability weapon. When the field gets tight and everything turns into fist fights in a phone booth, Adams is the guy who just ends the argument. Touchdowns, closing the deal. Detroit’s situation at safety. That’s not a small detail. It’s gasoline on a fire with injuries keeping Kirby Joseph and Brian Branch sidelined. If the run game pulls their second level out of structure, man coverage turns into a horror show. One missed tackle, one bad angle, one broken contain, and suddenly the Rams are rolling like they own the stadium. And when the offense puts you behind, that’s when the Rams defense gets to hunt because their pass rush is built to feed on desperation. This Rams defense is special enough to matter, and that’s all a contender needs. You don’t need perfection. You need timely violence. Jared Verse and Byron Young give the Rams a relentless edge presence. And this matchup is nasty because Detroit’s biggest requirement is simple. Keep Jared Goff upright. And that’s easier said than done when the Rams are winning early downs and forcing obvious passing situations. Now look at Detroit’s road struggles you provided in their three road losses.
