NHL Highlights | Ducks vs. Devils – December 13, 2025

and play a positional game. When you don’t have as much talent, you don’t want the puck on your stick too often as far as in the defensive zone. You want to get it up quickly. And the puck drop presented by FanDuel Casino. Vetrano back out to the wing with a quick shot that goes wide. Momentum takes it to Zelwigger to Moore. Moore balances the blue line for Zelwiger. He flings the shot on and it’s gloved out of traffic by Allen. They’re trying to snap a fivegame losing streak at home. Seanthaller for Brat. Knocked away. Now it’s a race for the puck. Krider and Brat. Crider gets there first. Centering pass goes all the way through as it misses. Terry and Mercer able to clear for Heisher. Numbers maybe for the Devils. Heir for Brat. And the shot goes wide. Catching up with his lamo takes a look behind him for somebody to pass to up the wall through Goce. Hamilton with a shot and a belly save by Dostal. you know, an outstanding human being in terms of his ability to manage the locker room, understand like he’s one of the last we say what Dano players coach, old school players coach. Um, just really understanding Ron Hamilton with a shot at the head hunter over the net. Oh boy. Being ready for an outlet pass. I like those little details so far that have been much better early in this game than they were against the Lightning. Brown centering past the glass and a save by Dostal. Ducks have allowed 103 goals. So there’s that. So it’s come at the expense of some on the other side of the ice as Brown with a backhand heave that’s bellied down by Dostal. So they got a plus 10 goal differential. Senica for McTavish. McTavish across the blue line flicks one on that’s saved by Allen on the bouncing puck. Oh Vano one-on-one with a shot and that’s over the net. held in by Trouba through Vatrono off the feed from Stro. Kicks back to Trouba with a blast and it’s gloved out of the air by Allen. Mighty Ducks movie, but Allen stays with it. Comes way out and gloves it. That was going to be wide anyway regardless. See how that puck is on end. And there’s the knuckle. Crider can’t clear. Glass trying to take advantage. Drops it back off for Brown, but the pass too wide. Carlson able to get a pass to Terry and he scores on the breakaway. Dallas draws first blood and they take a one- nothing lead. Man, you’re going so well. And Terry cheats and he slides in behind the Devil defense, but nobody is aware. And perfect pass. He’ll make you pay. He’s got a terrific shot and he rips it off the short side post. It all starts with Brown losing his edge, but that’s where Dylan got caught up a little bit high and tough for Luke Hughes to get over off the post and into the net. You see right here, that’s a perfectly well executed play by the Ducks. Centering pass, shot, gloved out of the air off the shot from Lamo by Dost. Some guys that haven’t scored much to get on the board. LMO who hasn’t scored a call yet. Has has been a healthy scratch lately and he’s back in the lineup with Gritsuk out now. Has a great scoring chance. We’ll see. That’s a big man. Uh that’s a a huge mismatch in size. Choose wisely trying to stuff it is Johnston. Couple of whacks, but Allen says no. Make Devils fans feel a little more at ease about the plight they’re in right now. It’s PK Suban. So, I’m looking forward to that. Maybe he’ll cheer me up as well. Well, he cheered me up. Now, will he vol you mentioned it. LaMo with a chance. He runs out of real estate. Centers to Nathan who scores. Stephan Nason ties this game and won. Nason’s first goal in 22 games. Let’s take a look at our million-dollar replay brought to you by the New Jersey Lottery. Remember, anything can happen in Jersey. Lamo with good speed wide stays with that puck and the backhand pass from behind the goal line to Nation who goes right to the blue paint. One more look and he bur will come in to take the draw with glass. One clean more shot gloved by Allen and we’ll do it again. Back down low to glass. Slings it around the wall for Seanthaler. Tap to Nason. Nason straight away for Hamilton. Hamilton with a shot on and a save. Rebound. Glass is there. It’s still loose now. The whistle stall makes a save and covers up, but all kinds of bodies there. You see Cody Glass there. Cotter there. There’s the shot from the point from Hamilton it through. A lot of good things so far in this first period this afternoon from the Devils. I was tipped up high as well being here. Welcome back to Devils Hockey presented by RWJ Barvis Health, official healthc care provider of the New Jersey Devils. Another big second period and Bryce, they responded getting the goal after giving up the first goal. Big second period here this afternoon. Spinning as Cotter on his back hand to LaMo. Lamo kicks it to his stick. Back to Carter. Carter back up top for White. Balances the blue line. Slings a shot. Knocked down in front. They score. on the bouncing puck scores a goal for the Devils. And for the first time today, they take the lead two to one from the point from Colton who rips it there and and Cotter around the net gets the rebound. Colton White’s had a strong game. He’s played hard and this is just simplifying what you talked about uh PK with the little shot toward the net. This puck gets bouncing around. He needed goal scoring to come from somewhere in this. Oh wow. Hughes with a blast and a save by Dost. It’s loose. Pai with a shot. It doesn’t go. Oh my. How’d that stay out? The blast from Hughes. Rebound there. Brat creeps up between the circles. Here’s Hamilton. Will he shoot? No. Finds Brat. Brat slings one down low. Heir centering pass. Fans on a shot. Heir fans on a shot as well. Granland’s going to knock it all the way down. Zelwiger drives in the slot, finds Carlson down low to Crider. Centering pass, bounces to Terry. Saved by Allen off the leg of Terry, goes back behind the net. Kne climbs the wall. Cross ice pass by Moore. Goes through Paling. Hellison slings a shot through traffic. It’s loose. Kne with a couple of slaps out. It won’t go. And Allen gets the whistle. Devils with a 45sec five on three. they couldn’t take advantage of. There’s Pot looking for Brown instead. The glass and score. He had two options. He picked the right one. It’s 3-1. I’m going to tell you this is just a real hardworking goal. Pitching down the right wall and the Devils were relentless here. And the pass right to Cody Glass who opens up a lane because of that hard work. Patt makes a great play, stops up. A duck defenseman goes down. Talking during training camp cuz Pat’s name came up about the the knob of his stick was basically like the size of a because he had a farming accident where he lost his thumb completely. It had to be sewn back on. He’s he’s got an amazing story. But they’re really, you know, standing up well, have the support on the back pressure. Senakica drives with a shot that flies over the net. Good job just backhanding at the length. Just a great defensive play knocking that puck. Stole away. Mercer with a shot and Dostal with a big save. Ducks down two with the extra attacker. Devils with the faceoff win, but it’s stuck in the corner trying to clear it out. Centering pass wide open. can’t get the shot away. The Devils able to get back to be open and it was Terry right in front of the net. Well, we’re watching Terry who’s kind of hanging right where he should with the goalender out, but you see that’s Palot come barreling back and gets there just in time. Bulls over. A little bit miscommunication I think on that one a bit. Faceoff win back behind the net. Terry centering pass to Senica saved by Allen. beat the Devils back early November. 4-1. Devils looking for some revenge. They control this faceoff. Hughes backhand kept by Terry. Terry stick handles for some room. Slings a shot to flex Juan. Brandon trying to loosen it up. Luke Hughes backhand. Pokes it forward. Devils take it away. Here’s a pass over to Brown. Brown makes a move. Brown slam dunk. Dagger. Conor Brown gets the goal for New Jersey. his first goal in 10 games as the Devils put it away and take a four to one lead just to get it up the wall. Good battle by Dylan. Watch Luke Hughes here. He’s going to poke it up and look at Brown jump by puck gets to pull out and he puts it into an area where Connor Brown can come in short-handed and come up with their best effort in a long time. Here comes Paling coast to coast with a shot saved by Allen. What a save. Hailing was flying down the left side and you see Douggee Hamilton gets picked a little bit or is focused on a duck at the blue line. Crook Shank in pursuit. Three two and one. Put a pitchfork in this one. Devils in their five game slide at the Rock as they beat the Ducks by the final score of four to one in a big gut check game here early in the season.

Stefan Noesen scored a goal and added an assist as Jake Allen made 30 saves to lead the New Jersey Devils over the Anaheim Ducks 4-1.
