Do you remember where you were on October 28th, 1995?!!! I was 15 years old and on the couch watching it with my dad ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  1. One of my earliest memories. I was five. We were in Brazil and my dad couldn’t believe he managed to figure out how to watch the World Series. But I remember seeing him overjoyed when they won!

    Core memory.

  2. 13 an in my braves fandom prime as a kid. Was traveling every summer out of state to go to games starting in 1991, Glavine, Avery, Maddux, McGriff, Justice posters on the bedroom wall from the Scholastic Book Fair and Fulton County Stadium. Good times. Still have the posters, pennants, and first shirt from the stadium.

  3. I was on the couch, trying not to fall asleep, watching with my family. I was 7.

Grissom caught it and mom and dad jumped up screaming. I was happy, I mean yay, we won the game. But I didn’t understand what was going on with the World Series. I thought they were really overreacting to one win.

It was explained to me afterwards.

  4. Yes and it still pisses me off. I was a shift manager at a grocery store. I was able to watch the first five games live but had to work 4 pm- midnight the night of game six. I set my VCR up to record it and was bound and determined to not find out the result. I made it through the whole night at work but as soon as I got in the car the radio station I had on said the final score. I still watched it when I got home.

  5. I was sitting in the right field seats with my dad. My then-girlfriend, now-wife was sitting in the centerfield seats with her dad. One of the greatest nights of both of our lives.

  6. In college, watching in my dorm. No one else really cared or was around, so I was stoked but it was missing a bit not being with friends and loved ones. 2021 was better celebrating with my daughter who also loves the Braves. Still a great moment.

  7. I was 9 years old. I was at the game at Fulton Co. Stadium with my dad and younger brother. Third base side. At the time, I wondered why no one was leaving even though the game was over. It felt like we stayed for hours. When we finally walked back to the car, my dad and I started the chant walking through some giant tunnel that took us under one of the streets toward the parking lots. Today, it’s still one of my favorite memories.

  8. We’re similar in age. Those were some great times to be a Braves fan. Richmond Braves saw most of the greats during that era.

  9. West Point Lake – listening to the radio call while on a fraternity retreat. We vowed to jump in the lake if the Braves won and sure enough we purified ourselves in the waters of the Chattahoochee River.

  10. I was in the hall of a hotel in Chattanooga watching it on a small tv with crappy reception.

  11. I was six years old and watching the game in my parents living room. My granddad, dad, mom, and I were all watching with the backdoor open letting in cool night air. Its how we watched Braves games all year. Gods I miss TBS having a rebroadcast of games everynight.

  12. I was at Georgia Southern and over at a friends apartment. I was sober so I drove my friends truck. We did multiple loops around campus. Honking the horn and flashing the headlights at all the other cars doing the same thing. Opened up the windows and did the chop.

  13. I was out to dinner with my girlfriend. I had 2 tickets to game 7, and when the whole restaurant went nuts, I knew 😭

  14. Same. Watches with my dad on the RCA big box projector screen. Final out we both jumped in the air off the couch. Gotta take him to a game next season

  15. I remember sittin’ at that house, livin’ room couch, thinkin’ “No way them boys wouldn’t win”… doh, wrong year

  16. Yep! Was watching the game at my friend’s house and fell to my knees with a tear in my eye as we finally did it.
