NHL Highlights | Predators vs. Avalanche – December 13, 2025
hot in a hockey game. Eight goals in the first buck 30 this season. Ties the most in franchise history and this is only game 31. We are underway as that puck goes off of Landis stick deep into the Nashville zone. Nelson knocked down from behind was Manson and no penalty called Josh Manson slow to get up at the red line but he is up thank goodness. Here’s McKinnon bursting in with a re shot. He scores. Nathan Mackin. Oh my goodness. What a release. Another goal inside. 90 seconds to start a game is a brand new franchise record. McKinnon. But you can see Josh Manson gets taken down by Schaffer, the big forward for the National Predators. But the ABS keep their composure and McKinnon wheeling in. You have no choice if you’re the Nashville defenseman. Pervix to you have no choice but to back in because of McKinnon speed and that shot. So four on four for 18 more seconds. The Pred will get their second power play of the contest. Mars it in. Drury dragging a shot. Jack Drury. It might have been deflected but somehow it gets inside the post and the ABS have a two nothing lead for Drury. That’s his fifth. A nice release there as wellan, but you can see the abs. One pass beats two for checkers and it’s deflected. It’s a double deflection. It goes off of Yosi’s stick right here. And then off the shin guard of Nick Hey. It’s going well wide, but Kale Mard brings the puck in the zone, dishes it over to Drury right there. Deflection and another deflection. There’s nothing can do. Gives it up in the slot. There’s a shot and it’s blocked by Kelly. turned his backside to everything. Kale Mar and Samuel Gerard with the assists on the goal by Drury Forsber reverse direction. O’Reilly gives it up shot score. Mareso able to ram it inside the post. That play was set up beautifully by the Pred. It’s now a two-1 game. On the shot walking down Main Street, the Pred regroup and this dish by Ryan O’Reilly through the skates of Devon Taves. You can see Marsha so finding the soft area. Riker, there is nothing that Wedgewood can do. It’s so quick. O’Reilly looking like he’s going back to Forsber and then through Taz’s skates on the tape of fed off head. Presented himself nicely. That’ll come to the red line. Gerard took a swipe. Wood got through. Wood is in. Shoot. Save by Wedgewood. Four and a half to go here. Period number one. Chasing the red line. McKinnon looking for some daylight. P shot save on it in and he holds on. What a nifty little shot by Tavage right deep. Predators have been all the way to the blue line. Here’s Gerard. A torn nod on Jo. Gerard straight away with a shot and it hit a man in the slot. Cutaround shot and what a kick save by. Best allaround period Nathan McKinnon’s had this season and that’s saying a lot cuz he’s had a lot of good hockey this year. Here we go. Perry number two. What happens when the draws to Chushka dumps it right on net on him and just slid into the way his land is stopped cycles it already had tremendous hands. He was able to get away with a lot. Amazing hands and maybe the best nickname Charlie Hustle. Here comes Gerard with a shot and a save by Gerard jumping into the play. Beautiful little pass from Nelson. If he puts that too hard, it goes right off of Gerard’s tape, but it’s well weighted. Perfect touch pass and off the melon. You know, it just has a life of its own. I’m going to keep going as long as I can. But the ally of Freddy, the boulder up top’s always getting bigger and bigger. Some of the oldtimes Oh no. Quick shot saved by Wedgewood. That puck went over the top of the net as O’Reilly. Pick play on McKinnon. You can see O’Reilly pops out. McKinnon just loses him for a fraction of a second. And Wedgewood, the push that he makes to cut down the angle on O’Reilly getting out to the top of his crease. And that’s a great shot from O’Reilly. Defenders and one centerman in the middle of the ice not allowing the ABS to get anywhere close to the net. Here comes the front of the challenge the blue line. McKinnon is upset and down with a shot saved by rebounded wide stoppage in play. Ken was mad about him and for had an interaction right there with the twoon one. Here’s the butter pass from O’Reilly. Steph comes in touch with five hole. Did he make a save on the splits? Crease to creaser on this rebound. Olives to McKinnon. McKinnon swings it across for Colton. Delayed penalty still. Tammy G knocked away. Turn shot. Victor Olson. It went off a predator right to his stick and he turns and he fires it home. And the AS have a 3-1 lead on the delayed call for his seventh of the year. Tennessee event available breaking this delicate shot. Well, the ABS able to control the puck coming into the zone on a delayed call. But Kennand pass through the seam is a thing of beauty. The ass moving the puck around the stick deflects it to just two points in his last eight games. But this is what you need to get feeling good. I was talking with him the other day. I told him Peter Forsber text me every time he scored. Gave it up. Landiskar wants to go to the point and does. Mar get around Stanos in front. Save by he. I can’t believe it. What a save by on. And then here’s the pass from a car that Johnny was talking about. Comes in just a little shot play. Val gets a perfect amount of lumber on it and then it’s bouncing in the crease with two abs right in front and they both just cannot locate this puck. There’s Brock Nelson. Can’t find it right there. Off it goes for Brinley. Able to work his way free. Finds Nelson. Landiskov shoots it off the iron. Oh, he went across the body of an post. He hit that square as a bell. And that’s about an inch from going in. Landiskar. Now Nelson finds the captain in front. McKinnon scoots it. Had a stop by on with the right pass. McKinnon took that skate. What time rebound? Sorry about that, Johnny. Juskin can unload the puck as well. But here’s the play across. There’s Nathan McKinnon trying to lift the stick of big McCarron to get to that puck and just kick it in and watch lift right there trying to get that advantage and get period. ABS want to lock things down as Nelson and O’Reilly will score out front of the ABS bench. Mar finds tails on it without his goal stick. Manson kept it in again. What a read by Manson. It’s juiced in off the glass. What a They’ll get there with their goalender. They’ll find a way back in. McKinnon sends it down. Brinley’s loose. Saved by Oinan. Tried to go top shot, but Onin made himself big. Gavin Brinley racing in, but Onin keeps it a twogoal game. Keep your head up with a few other adjectives in between. Still coming hot. Here we go. He’s he’s literally saying you only played five games. Breaks in. Nelson shooters in. Sorry about that. Right. That’s awesome. In front to chew skin. Tricked. Penalty coming up on the Predators. The action and the auction in this game. Oh, not so good at that. He just waits and waits and always does in this circle. Eddie Winter McK Nelson finds the captain. Stop. Stop by and yeah, we got thumbs up. There’s the play keep. Oh, just that far second gave it off. Now it’s Taves who takes over. McKinnon Jin save rebound. Fley got a piece under twice that hit on into the backside and he’s got a control. N is empty for the Predators and Manson flipped and hit a guy in the head. Comes to McKennon. He’ll look tries to find Landis. Backhand shot off the iron. Oh, you got to be kidding me. The captain’s been robbed by the post twice tonight at the last second right here. Takes it to the outside of the post. Willsby will try to chase. Manson gave him a punch. He earns will flip it to the point and it’s up and out. Land Scott chasing off. Landis all over him. Here’s McKenna diving in swept away. Bachi with a bloody bout gets rewarded with an empty net goal and the ABS have put it away. It’s now a 4-1 game for Nushki. That’s his eighth of the season. Post it in. But here you go. Sweden’s teammates Gabe Lanniskog and Forsber and the battle found to Shushkin. As I said, justice is served. Reichkes getting the empty net goes far down. I mean, it’s a joy to watch this young talent develop in the NHL. Chris shot blocker saved by Anan. Pushed ahead by the Pred. Racing as Tyson Jo trying to cut in. Shoots and scores. So the Pred get one back. It’s now a 4-2 game on a great shot by Jo. That’ll be just his second goal of the year. Back in 2016. Six years he was an Avalanche player. Comes on in far side. Just comes across backhand forehand and beats Wedgman to the far side. The blocker, I guess, is impenetrable after all. That’s a pretty perfect shot by the former 10th overall pick. Johnny, I totally agree on it. And just sitting back there in the net. San Jose scored two empty nets. Pardon me with the net. Well, the ABS do it. They push the home winning streak to 11 games.
Nathan MacKinnon scored and added an assist, Scott Wedgewood made 27 saves and Victor Olofsson buried the game-winning goal to lead the Colorado Avalanche past the Nashville Predators 4-2.

Nice
unreal team
I’m suprised that the preds didn’t even try a comeback.. there was over a minute left when they score 2-4 goal. No timeout no goalie pull no nothing🤷🏻♂️ i mean if they just keep pushing they might throw a penalty to the avs and the 6-4 is a hole another ball game.. it doesent send a very good message if goaches and the staff are just givin up, they still got a change to the playofss even if its a long shot! It doesnt matter if you lose 2-4 or 2-5..
props to the avs they are a killer time this year!
We have to get rid of Girard he will cost us another cup this year like he did last year.
Hadn't seen Drury score in a long time. But MacKinnon is insanely unstoppable.
Games with the stars and wild are looking to be nasty this year. Av's vs Red wings in the Stanley cup final. Could you imagine.
Lets Go Avalanche!
