What do you think caused this game to turn the way it did? We got on our heels and we didn’t we didn’t respond the right way. Is it just increasingly hard to keep finding positives after loss like this? Um yeah. Um not much after that. How do you Yeah. How I mean you just start to grip the stick like how do you try to keep from you know letting it spiral? Um, you just can’t. We’re here. We’re pros. We got to just We got to get the job done. What do you think you did well up until that point where it turned? Um, we did a lot. Very well. Um, dominating possession. Her power play was great. Getting a lot of chances. Five on five. We were great. And then just unravel. Do you think there’s anything you guys can do to kind of better equip yourselves to handle those momentum swings late in games? Um, definitely. I think it’s just you got to just play harder and simplify. I think that’s just I mean just get the puck out of the zone. Make sure everyone’s doing their job.

  2. clearing the puck 5 on 6 is an impossible challenge for these penguins. Last few minutes of every game are a disaster try some new guys in the extra attacker scenarios please. Hopefully Kulak can get a puck out of our zone cause nobody else seems capable. not even against the SHARKS! crazy work.   7. so rust is upset , that is rich since he QUIT skating on his missed empty netter which he could have scored on the rebound and he didnt make a play on the guy who scored the O.T. winner ! rust has been in the middle of a lot of bad plays lately that have led to losses . he needs to sit a few games ! let ANYBODY else play who has his head in the game !

  8. I called this loss when it was 5-1 and they took two penalties, I said “the collapse starts now”. After it was 5–3 I said “if I was muse, Letang and Karlsson would be hitting the showers right now” and when it was 5-6 I said, “.. in spite of it all, it feels good to be right.”

  12. I’ve been following Pittsburgh sports teams since the 60’s. Has there been a time when all three teams had as awful decision makers, as it pertains to roster building, trades, drafting, and coaching???

  24. One thing that does mean something to me is that Brian Rust definitely looks like he’s distraught. But Crosby Karrlson and everybody else gives the same bull crap “we played great for 50 minutes blah blah blah. Most of these guys don’t give a shit and I’m sorry there’s no way you can lose two of the most improbable games in history of the NHL in one week
