Just bought tickets to Philip Rivers’ comeback tomorrow. Front row, visitors side. Will be wearing a powder blue Rivers jersey!

  1. You guys know like whenever someone is 40 years old, and say “what I would give to watch Dan Fouts one more time” or something like that?

    Well Rivers coming back is that moment for me. I still watch old Chargers games. To see him come back like this is truly once in a lifetime, by definition.

    So I’m gonna go. And support Philip.

I’d join you, but I can’t tolerate Seachickens fans ever since my life was actually threatened following the 2010 game in Seattle when Leon Washington had 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns against us in a loss. The fans were throwing beer at me all game, and when my cousin (who is a Seachickens fan) asked ushers to step in they responded “maybe your friend shouldn’t have worn a Chargers jersey”. As we were leaving the game the group physically threatened to kill me if they saw me outside the stadium. The few times I have attended a Seachickens game since then, I have intentionally purchased the opposing team’s jersey to wear to the game.

  4. Envious as fuck. I just really hope it’s not gonna be like Mike Tyson and he actually goes out there and does well. I mean I don’t have much doubt that’ll be the case but it’s so unprecedented him doing this that part of me has no idea what to expect.

  6. I went to MetLife stadium in 2017 to watch the Chargers. Got there early and went close to field to watch warm-ups and was cheering Rivers on. He waved at me, likely in an attempt to shut me up lol.

    I am jealous.
