Howdy doody your boy is back with another installment of “Regular Dude Talks Bucks Basketball”. Now I don’t want to get too overexcited but we are so back guys. Kinda odd we only played once in the last 7 days but hey maybe that gives the guys a chance to get healthy and get some coached up (looking at you Glen).

Overreaction 1: Kyle Kuzma is the most important non GA player on the roster.

Shame on all who hated. Kyle Kuzma is that dude. He looks primed and ready to carry us to the 1 seed with GA out. Dial up the voting lines it’s a Kyle Kuzma all-star/MVP kinda season. Just don’t freak out the next game he posts 7/4/1 shooting 2-14 from the field and 0-5 from deep.

Overreaction 2: Bobby Portis for 6moty lock it in.

Big Bob you sure picked a great time to be on they ass. Finally felt like your offensive game was making up for your shoddy defense and hey all it took was 27/10 against one of the best teams in the east. Not to mention going absolutely ballistic in the 4th. Now just do that every game and we’ll be alright Big Bob.

Overreaction 3: KPJ is Brandon Jennings 2.0

Think about it. Shifty, left handed lead guards who are lethal pulling up and have super active hands defensively. Now add like 3-5 inches on both height and wingspan to BJ and you get KPJ. Both are pretty good in the playmaking department (albeit in different ways) and both have explosive scoring potential when they’re on (still waiting for a kpj 50 ball in bucks colors). Might dox my age a bit here but Brandon was my favorite Buck until Giannis and Khash so I’m feeling nostalgic lol.

Overreaction 4: WE ARE SO BACK!

What other team/franchise can be this beaten down with injuries, Adam silver, media drama, and some bad losses. Only to win in pretty convincing fashion against one of the better teams in the conference. Without our franchise player, and it being the second quality dub we’ve had without him in as many weeks? Where most players and organizations crumble the cream city crew are busting ass to show what they’re made of. Horst’s strategy of collecting a bunch of offensively inconsistent guys who are capable of going for 30 points on any given night might keep us afloat till GA returns. As long as we can consistently get a performance from one player among the plethora of consistently inconsistent guys, we have a chance. Also a big part of why it feels like we can beat anyone (except maybe okc) and lose to anyone.

That’s right folks the Bucks are back (until they lose to a bottom feeder in a week or 2). I thought I was prepared for a long season of ups and downs (I even saw the turnover issues coming) but man is it still frustrating sometimes. Your boy still believes though and you should too! #bucksin6

  1. Ill stay committed on my kuzma “delusion”. Hes not that guy, hes never been that guy, and he most certainly isnt our most important non GA player (unless you mesn on the trading block).
