He’s prone to turnovers and we’re good at forcing them. Mitch has 6 fouls to use up in limited minutes and Wemby will probably be on a similar restriction, I think we can shield KAT from that matchup.

For 20 minutes Mitch and the demon OG have to be all over his ass. Don’t forget he can’t play the whole game.
Also, Mike Brown has to play the lineup right and our players have to stay out of foul trouble so we can have the right lineup in when we need it. Probably the biggest factor and I haven’t seen anyone say it.
You dont. Stop everyone else. He wont beat you alone and will need to sit at some point. Also hes not consistently unstoppable yet as we have seen in the past.

Honestly more worried about the dribble penetration from the super athletic guards that they have, we struggle against extreme athleticism. I think we have the tools to slow wemby down and make it difficult for him. Kat, hart and mitch are excellent rebounders so he won’t be as big of a force on the glass as he was against okc.
GOOD NEWS: you can do something about his offense. Just send two stocky small forwards and disrupt his dribbling motion. Let him settle for threes. **Never** put a slow-ass center on him or he’ll embarrass you like he did AD. That’s why you rarely see chet guarding wemby. IHart once did and wemby drilled a three on his face. Now, the consequence of blitzing him is that his teammates can make you pay.

Yeah dude. He is the reason I feel like if we don’t win a championship this year our window is done. Once he levels up to full power the spurs are going to rule for a decade. having said that… as long as he’s not playing the Knicks I’m becoming a huge Wemby fan. I really hope this kid can stay healthy. What a career he could have and he’s fun to watch.
