Sabres vs. Kraken | NHL Highlights | December 14, 2025
They look to win three games in a row for
the first time this season. Snowquali Casino Sportsbook opening faceoff. Sit back and enjoy
this one. Vince Dun who is playing his second NHL game tonight. Played last season in Nashville.
Kapo Kako carries in for a shot caught by Alex Lion. Brennan Montour. Now Ryan Winterton in
support of him. Back it goes Yanni Newman going wide. Ryan Lingren a shot tipped on. Denied by
Lionford be on the lookout for the crayons. JT they’re on the way. Quinn accelerates in. Shut
down by Dour off the face off the speed from Quinn. Splits the D. Here’s the opportunity.
He’s only able to shovel it one hand in this. Nice. Alex Tuck gets to it. Good job by Matty
navigating through the middle. Josh Norris with a drag. A shot caught by Dord. No further play.
You got to go right to the blue paint. You got to find a way to spin off somebody and take
the hard route. You can’t take the easy way. Tuck with a shot. Swallowed up without rebound
by Dord. Reestablished by Yanni Newman. He’s shoved by Owen Power. Here’s Alexiaak popping
out Newman. A shot stopped. The rebound stopped again. Shane Wright had the second chance and
Alex Lion said no. Josh Don will lay it back. Samuelson. Don again to the outside. Krebs this
way. It’s Dalene with a shot caught by Joey Dor. Never know. Come to your uh come to a hockey
game in your gear as a youngster and maybe you live that dream out in about 14 or 15 years.
The morning skate there in Salt Lake City. Kakal out to center. Twoon one. Freddy
Gro and Stevenson on Q off the goal post. a backhander off the far pipe. Well, defense to
offense. Freddy Gdro forehand backhand and beats Alex Lion. I’m glad he made the decision there too
as Dalene took away the passing option. Didn’t try to force something over a pass on the backhand.
He pulls it over. Gets a little bit more space. Able to elevate it. Just not able to get pinned
as Jack Quinn. He stays with it. Pinned by Evans. Quinn emerges to the outside. Power with a shot.
Kicked out with a purpose by Joey Dord. Assesses that situation. Pulls up. Deals it back for Power.
Quinn, a one-time. Dord read it all the way and he drops it off for Alexiaak. Buffalo has seven
of the first 10 shots. It comes through center by Milansen. He’ll go to work as we see on Owen
Power. It’s reversed for Byron. Tuck. Good play. Look out. Osland. Noah Osland. A first round
pick. gets it back and they score. What a pass by Josh Norris who collides with the boards. Oh
yeah, he really I mean he went in there hard. He didn’t have a chance to protect himself at all. If
you’re going to come down as a defenseman, you got to make sure you either get the man or the puck.
And Jamie Alexia gets nothing. And then Osceland and Norris go to work. No chance for Joey. And
there you see the collision. Oh, what a play. And then there’s the collision in behind the net.
Got a tough feeling there as she watches sliding through it. Starting with the Kitab Credit Union
pregame show from the Saddle Dome at 5:30 Pacific time. Now all you on Thursday night, Johnny Don
moves the puck. Payton Krebs sings it wide on the glove side of Joey Decor. Mattie stops ahead
of Jack Quinn. gets help from Mour and the Kraken are back out with Jordan Everly who sauces a pass
for Matty Baneers. It goes high maybe Lion got a piece of it. Mour for checked by Osland. Here’s
Owen Power. He’ll slide it across for Bryson. A shot pad save who hit the goal post. Seattle’s
best chance in period one. Bro Thompson blocked in front and Gdro now will dump it out. Every time he
turned around there was a saber right in front of him. Winterton for the front right. Ryan pulls up.
Moves it across. Evans a shot block. The rebound. Lion comes up big on Riker Evans. Excellent play
here by Ryan Winterton. Hold on to the puck. Get this puck to Riker Evans. One chance, second
chance, a golden opportunity. This one looks like the first one’s redirected. Oh, never got there.
The first one never got there. Looked like it did on the initial replay, but Lionson recovers the
puck, sets up Dunn, and Dunn scans the coverage. Stevenson a slap pass. Everly knocking on the
door. Lion had none of that for a shot block going down Connor Jims. He’s okay for Buffalo.
And it’s cleared out the center ice. Overs skated, retaken by Alex Tuck in front all alone. Thompson
scores set up by Payton Krebs. A twoon down low set up by Alex Tuck is finished off by Tage
Thompson looking to send this puck up. It ends up being knocked out of the air. Vince Dunn
elects to go and try to pressure that creates the two on. Krebs Thompson as well right here. You see
it in tight. Quick play there as Joey tries to get across and gets a piece of it again. D trying
to send that puck all the way up to the far blue line. He had Cartier standing out there and
an excellent stick. I believe that was Tuck who ended up knocking that puck down. Ben Meyers steps
in with a shot. Stopped by Lion. The rebound. Lion got that one. I play this line more today. They
were up three to nothing against the Mammoth and the Mammoth ended up winning in overtime. Done.
Stevenson second power play off the post and in. Bring the chimes. That’s music to the ears of the
Kraken. It’s a power play goal ignited by Chandler Stevenson. Jordan Everly faceoff win. Good help by
ES. Done to Stevenson. Short side and it finds its way to the back of the net. JT at a time when
you needed that power play to come up large. talked about it right there. The screen Lion can’t
see this puck off the post, off his back, and in with the importance of winning that face off.
Stevenson ended up getting kicked out of the draw. Mattie has to come in. Everything’s okay because
it just lands a few feet away. Now Dene Thompson on the power play, sings a shot, sealed off and
frozen by Decour. Thompson bumper slot down and back. Now Benson and Dene play catch. Zack Benson
right in off the glass. rebound in front who lets it go to Dalene. Thompson holding on to that
puck. Dalene a one-timer put off the court. A shot block. Alexiaak from Norris. Don. Thompson.
Dene’s calling for it. Thompson does too. Josh Don holding on to it. Tage Thompson. Don again
will stretch it out. Shoulder down by the cord. Evans out of the box. Moves the puck high off the
glass. picked up by Zack Benson short-handed. 8 seconds left in their kill. He’ll drag it, shoot
it, kicked out by Dord and brought out by Wright. He’ll settle the puck down with Newman. Newman
peels away. Dones out of the box. Across it goes Lingren. Fun off the stick of Alex Lion by Krebs
for a moment. Good play by Milansson. Support from Meyers. Ben Meyers shifting in. Stick handling.
Wheeling one caught by Lion Milansson and Cartier as uh Dalene having words as well as Don with
Milansson. Yeah, it might be for the extra little tap that he gave Lion after the save is made.
You’re going to see the stick come through there and wasn’t much there, but Holy cow, there’s 63
in blue here. Shot right on. Denied by Lion. Good face up win there by Chandler Stevenson. Pass
Zack Benson. Matias Samuelson cycle along for Thompson. He’ll wind away from Ko. Drag it. Shoot
it. Stopped by Dord. A big one. Power checked on the play. Hustling it back of the goal to the
outside. Moved along. Reset. One-time tuck. Tipped. Good stop by Dord. Freddy Gatro sees
it now and moves it by Broy. Timons stripped. Stevenson with patience. Alexiaak with a shot
blocked and it’s wheeled out to center by Ryan Mloud. Patience there by Stevenson. Alexiaak.
Knocked down by Byron. Meyers has the puck in back of the goal for a moment. Here comes Shane Wright.
Right cycles out. Evans. Riker Evans with a wrist shot. Stick save. Lion. Different looking line
here. You got Myers, Winterton, and right Myers. A shot denied by Alex Lion. But I’m making a little
bit more commotion. There was Myers again. Riker Evans now to the corner. He’s peppered by Tuck.
Veneer’s turn. Shoots one body down by Lion. Josh Norris attempting to pry it out. Hustling
did. Back it goes. Samuelson one-time. Darling is swallowed up by Joey Decor. Ahead of Beners,
they went 1-2 in the 21 draft. Now Bryson out to center. Here comes Norris. Good pass for Tuck.
A shot body down by the core. Moved in. Dene to the outside. Meyers. Back it goes for Evans. Riker
Evans. Ben Meyers was by right. Winterton shovels high. Maybe off a stick. Maybe off Dallene. You
want to send your defenseman down. You want to cause all kinds of havoc in there. Maybe you get
one. Maybe you draw a penalty. But it’s certainly working so far here in the late in the third. Hour
off the pad of Lion was cleared across I believe by Everly. Everly Tobin and stopped and frozen by
Alex Lion. Krebs down the middle to the outside. Payton Krebs will circle the track. Wheel one off
the court. Thompson in tight’s got it. Empty net situation for the Kraken. Benson to the outside. A
lead pass. Quinn checked in the play. Benson hits the target. Zack Benson with his second goal
of the season. Makes it three to one Buffalo. McCracken not able to control the puck off
the face off. You see Monty diving through trying to get a last ditch effort. Nice play
along the wall to even get that puck over to Benson. You see Quinn twoonone there. Just a
little backhand tap over to Benson and turns around and fires into the empty floor by six.
8 seconds left. It goes by Capo Kako. He’ll send it back in. 3 seconds on the clock. Riker
Evans from well out. butt off again. And that’s
