The only knock on his game is he is injured often, when he is out there he is a damn good player to have.
He’s been so solid and consistent this season after being cleared to play. I don’t take his contributions for granted one bit.
Its amazing how quick he gets off the ground. You can see the touches he makes he’d be elite on a good team.
Honestly the craziest athlete to play for the blazers in I don’t know how long. Yes I know Shaedon and Elliot Williams verticals but this guy is 260 with multiple knee operations and still looks as explosive as a young Oden.
It honestly makes me sad that freakish defenders like Timelord and Jonathan Isaac have been hobbled by injuries as defenders crushing good offence always makes me smile.
He holds the franchise record for blocks in a playoff game too which I think highlights his elite elite elite level defence at his peak. Here’s the highlights… https://youtu.be/2KfiLFbEydA?si=H7z1i5Dybmfhtx_D
I’m of the opinion that we should keep around and disagree with those of the opinion that we should trade him.
Can’t we resign him on a cheaper contract because of his injury history and just keep him playing “light” minutes?
