    I also want them to trade everyone, get some picks back, and blow it up but Ballmer and co think purely about the bottom line. Having recognizable stars (even stars in Unc status) puts asses in seats and that is what they care about, not the overall health of the franchise or the future.

    Honestly it’s a pretty Hollywood way to go about things. Lakers operate the same way, difference is even when they fail they still get LeBron or Luka to land in their laps.

  20. lol always get a chuckle about “blowing it up” like what’s that mean? getting a few 2nds for harden and a salary dump? getting one first and salary for kawhi?

    zubac is under contract so no need to move him. explain this “blow it up” to me.

    Frank has said over and over the plan. he’s looking to get into summer free agency where he will have over $60 million and go from there. not trading away the 2030 pick and not taking on new money. if there’s a move that makes the team better short-term without affecting that, then sure, they’ll look into it.

    pretty simple stuff.
