  1. Weird on how such a clean guy keeps being at the center of these incidents where players mysteriously get injured

  2. I won’t go look, but based on the GI call in our game I’m willing to bet a lot the Stars fans are claiming he was pushed in and the injury is 100% the fault of the defender for ::checks notes:: playing his position properly.

  3. If you look really closely you can see Scott Mayfield pushed him into Darcy Kuemper all the way from Michigan

  4. The best is reading the delusional comments left by Stars fans who are defending him. I cannot believe there are people that think like this.

  5. GODDAMNIT MAYFIELD!!!

There is a argument this wasn’t really Rantanens faults. The Kings defender was leaning on him forcing him into Kuemper.

I’m not 100% sure he was making a huge effort to get of the way though.

When was the last time Rantanen didn’t injure someone? The game he was suspended?

Fool me once shame on you…

Fool me twice shame on me…

    Fool me three times…??

  6. I hate to delve into Rantanen discourse again but I’ll repeat what I said last time: the problem isn’t that Rantanen is purposefully trying to execute dirty hits, but rather that this league seems to think that star players have zero responsibility to act in a way that avoids injury, the concept of negligence just doesn’t apply when you’re a star. If anyone else did this they’d have been suspended after that Calgary hit for more than one game, but when you’re a star they let you get away with it (and put out a sniveling statement that they just haaaaad to suspend Rantanen oh golly gee)

  7. We’re just so petty that we’re gonna post every Rantanen clip in this sub, huh?
