San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks Best Picks & Predictions!

Welcome back everyone. It is Tuesday, December 16th in the NBA. We only have one game on tonight, but it is a big one. It is the NBA Cup finals. The San Antonio Spurs versus the New York Knicks. Pretty good day for us. Kate Cunningham over in points. I have no idea why you guys said you were fading that one. Congrats on donating to the Bucks. I don't know. I digress. Nicholas was our VIP play is under an assist. Then we did lose our John Collins and Jock Landale, but again that was a quarter unit play. It was a long shot, but again like the chance there. They did not come through. But either way, 2 and 0 on our regular props. Let's keep the line moving. 50 and 26 on unders. Not only that, we had a pretty good day on the regular plays. You probably know this. Day six of the ladder challenge cash. A cash by the third quarter. I mean, you can look at every guy. They crushed the line. I mean, most of the guys almost doubled their line. So, you love to see that. It's good when you get a competitive game, a highscoring one that at that as well. We will be trying to turn that into a,280 bucks tonight. As always, I like to say, especially when you get this high, it is a large dollar amount. I know a lot of you guys out there are maybe $10 unit betterers, 20 maybe. Uh, so again, I know this is a lot of money and I know you like the idea of trying to turn 10 into 10K. 10K is a lot of money. 10k is life-changing money for some. Uh you don't need to chase it. Heck, $600 can make your life a lot easier, especially in the holiday season. I know everyone's kind of on a tight budget for December. So, again, you don't have to wager the whole thing. Cut it in half, walk home with $300 because realistically, we still got to hit four more. It ain't that easy, but we'll try to do that later on today. Maybe I'll talk about my thoughts about that at the end of the video. But, as always, I appreciate you guys for tuning in. I'll start with my favorite player prop for this game and he'll probably find his way into the ladder. It is Stefan Caswell over 22 and a half points plus assists minus 120 on bet on GMA one unit play. Austin, what did you play it at 23 and a half? Yes, I don't think Castle if he goes over he's gonna end on 23. I realistically think he could go for 25 to 28 honestly in this game if he's hitting the shots maybe even more than that. Now why am I backing Stefon Castle and I'll give you my lean on this game plus a couple other prop lanes in just a moment. I think this is a terrific matchup as a person that just bet say Jaylen Suggs is under against the Knicks. Uh yeah, I never want to bet an under against the Knicks ever again. The team I mean they did not play well in transition and they did not do a great job at limiting guys getting to the paint. And while Mitchell Robinson and Cat are decent rim protectors, I'm not too worried about it. Stefon Castle just came through and got it done against the Thunder, that is a much tougher matchup than you will see tonight against the Knicks. But like I said, he did return back from injury over this line in three straight with 23, 36, and 24. Last game, like I said, versus OKC, nine for 16, only had two assists, 16 potential assists. The Knicks do give up their fair share of spot up opportunities. He's kind of running this offense away from Fox. Like Fox will look at his usage, but again, Castle's kind of doing his thing. And like I said, the Knicks really struggled in transition last game. If you look at Castle's numbers on the season over this line in 12 of 16 games, I don't care. Fox and WBY are active here. Doesn't really matter to me. In my opinion, he'll be able to dominate. We saw not only Jaylen Suggs, Desmond Bane had a pretty good game against him. He didn't shoot the ball well. Anthony Black had a ton of volume. So again, these are all guys that can attack the hoop. I just don't think the Knicks have a great match up for Stfan Castle. Like they put bridges on him if they want to do that, which is probably what I would have guessed. But then again, who's I don't really know what the Knicks are going to do defensively here. Uh because Jaylen Brun is kind of like who do you put him on? You got to find someone to kind of isolate and just throw him out there. You're not going to put him on Fox. I don't think you want him on Castle. So maybe Harrison Barnes or something like that. I have no idea. Uh but I do think that they just don't have a great match up. Like put Bridges on him, he'll be able to overmatch him. Put OG and Anobi on him. OG love him, but I think Castle's a little bit too agile there. Like I said, he just came through versus the Thunder's a much easier matchup. I think it's a great spot for Castle to maybe clear this line pretty easily by the third quarter. So, I really like his over 22 and a half points plus assist. I have a couple more propans in just a second, but I do have a little bit of a long shot parlay. Now, I did say I have a Dub Club exclusive one that is only three legs. It's plus 1,800 odds, but I have a safer one, if you will, if there's ever such thing as a safe parlay. It's five legs. It's plus 788 on DraftKings with a boost. I played it for 02 units. Uh Bridges for 12 plus points. I think his regular line at 14 and a half is a tad sharp, but I do like the 12 plus. This is a Spurs team that gives up a lot of points in the mid-range. It's kind of Bridg's bread and butter. Stefon Castle, we have him in there again. Again, I like it at 23 and a half, which is what DraftKings was at. Jaylen Brunson for 30 plus points. I mean, the guys can have great usage. He's historically dominated the Spurs. And let's be honest, he's going to play like 38 to 40 minutes, have the ball in his hands almost every possession. I'll take a chance with him getting 30. Josh Hart, I like him as a sneaky rebound spot. Um, I don't know who who you put him on. He might actually be the guy that guards Stefon Castle now. I'm thinking about it. Uh, and I I'd love that for Stefon Castle. I think Josh Hart will have plenty of chances, get some rebounds. Like Castle's not really a three-point shooter. So, if Castle's attacking the hoop, Josh Hart's going to be in position down low to get get some boards. But also, we know Fox Webby, those guys are going to stretch the floor. I think Hart in a fast-paced game here can grab six. I think there's a chance you can grab eight or 10. And then Webbyama eight plus rebounds. not the best matchup for rebounds for centers. However, he has dominated the Knicks. I think his last two against him, 18 and 20 rebounds. Um, look, he can easily box out Mitchell Robinson and grab some boards. I I think he can grab eight. The B is like 7 feet 12 inches. I know really he's like 74, but I think he grabb eight. I like this at plus 788. Just a quarter uh 02 unit. Not even a quarter, two win back one and a half, whatever it may be. I like it. Plus 788 on drafting. Like I said, I have a longer shot one in the dub club. It is only three legs. if you're interested in that one. Like I said, plus 18 odds, 100 odds if you're interested. Let's talk about a couple leans for this game. I'll actually give you my lean on the game, which is rare. I lean the Knicks. But before I talk about the Knicks, obviously, I like Jaylen Brunson 10 30 plus points. Another prop I was going to take is Dylan Harper. I had Bron Harper the other day in the recap, but Dylan Harper over 10 and a half points. You know, we just faded him, but kind of goes same in breath with the Stefon Castle play. the Knicks just struggled to stop guard getting it into the into the paint. And while their numbers on the season suggest, oh, this a really good rim protecting team, not what I've seen as of late. And I think Dylan Harper is a guy that they love in their lineup. He's one of the only trusted guys in that rotation. They're still not playing Fox and Castle, you know, 40 plus minutes a night. So Harper still has a role in there. And I think he can attack in that second unit. And so I like Dylan Harper. I think he bounces back here today. He shoots a ton, man. If you watch him, he shoots a lot. Not a guy I would put in the ladder challenge because he is a rookie and I don't want to look lose on a rookie in a big time game, but is a guy that I I wouldn't mind it over 10 and a half points. Just don't want to bet that with Castle given they kind of play uh the same role and play different minutes. So, I obviously would like Castle Cooking and not want to root on Harper to cook. But I do like Brunson obviously. Why do I lean the Knicks though? Um I'm not being a homer. I am a Knicks fan. Uh but I think a lot of people are going to see that Spurs win over the Thunder and be like, "Dang, they make the best team in basketball. Let's bet them. Why are they underdogs?" Um, I think the Knicks match up really well against the Spurs. Um, they could throw OG on to Webanyama. That would be a great match up for the Knicks. It would slow down uh Webyama a little bit. And then I think they have a good enough matchups to slow down a guy like Fox. I think they'll live with Castle beating them. Uh, but what the thing with the the the Spurs, their defensive identity, they'll give up some pull-up jump shots. They give up a lot of them. But basically, they give up pull-ups, pull up mid-range, and they give up a lot of threes. Now, when they played the Thunder a few days ago, if you were to look at that game, I forget, that was on Saturday, uh the Thunder shot, what did they shoot from three? They shot nine for 37, 24%. That's terrible. I mean, you're going to pretty much in the NBA, if a team shoots 20 in the 25% from three, you probably beat them. Uh, so I don't care who the heck your team is. Uh, the Knicks have a lot of good three-point shooters. Now, obviously Brunson, we know Macau Bridges pretty good. OG and Anobi, Josh Hart's been shooting the ball well. Carl Anthony Towns, so I do think the Knicks can shoot them out of their normal defenses. And so, I would lean the Knicks if I had to bet it. I'm not going to bet it because I'm a Knicks fan. I don't want to jinx them. Uh, but I do think I'd lean the Knicks in this game. I think this is this is a bad matchup for the Spurs in terms of their defensive identity, giving up threes. The Knicks have the three-point shooters out there. I'd actually be curious to shoot see what the Knicks guys are shooting from three this season. I'll pull it up right now. Uh the Knicks we have Brunson at 38%, Cat at 36%, Bridges 41, OG 41, Josh Hart 38, no McBride tonight, right? McBride is still out. Uh but outside of like McBride, Jordan Clarkson not shooting well, 28%. So again, their whole starting lineup is shooting about 36% from three. I don't know. Feels like a tough spot if you're going to bet the Spurs, but if you bet the Spurs, go for it. I'm not going to bet the Knicks. So either way, my only official plays in this game are Stfan Castle's over in points and assists. We have that long shot parlay in the video plus 788. We have that smaller long shot in the dub club. It's a 0.1 unit play, 1800 odds. And then we will have day seven of the ladder challenge posted later on today. Uh again, if you wanted me to pull up day six victory lap, cool to see it. I'm thinking about day seven for today, what it may look like. Castle probably find his way in there. Hard to not go back to Brunson. Um it's always hard to choose between OG and Macau, but I do like Bridges a little bit more. I think both have decent games though. Um Hart, I'm not big fan on his points matchup. Uh so he might he might need to get faded, but I do like his rebounds and assists, so maybe his PR I don't know. We'll figure it out. Uh it should be live earlier than normal uh the last few days because we already have alternate lines. However, I do have a appointment with the pediatrician at 10:00. So maybe expect it early afternoon, maybe like a 1 to two. I think it's at the latest three. It should be live by 3. This game starts at what, uh, 9, 8:30, my guess? 8:30.
