Cooper Flagg (42 Points) at Utah Jazz | December 15, 2025

Cooper Flagg recorded the most points by an 18-year-old in NBA history with 42 pts (prev. 37, LeBron James vs. BOS, 12/13/03). He is just the fifth rookie to record 40-5-5 in the last 15 years.

Flagg also tied Mark Aguirre (42) for the most points by a rookie in Mavs history.

  1. As I’ve said a few times what I truly appreciate about Coop is how he competes. He has championship DNA all over him. Plays with effort on defense and offense. Looks to pass. 2 way player.

  2. Bro has a left hand already. Very good driver/slasher and can stop and pull up. Only problem is he will need to work on that 3 point shot to keep defenders from collapsing/laying off him. If next season Coop has a reliable 37+% 3 ball, AD at the 5, Kyrie at the 1, Max/PJ at the wings that’s going to be a really strong core there that can win a lot of games. Patience required.

  3. Once again showing how great Aguirre was, coaches hated him for being so creative and that he wanted a spread offence, and he was right!! Hall of Fame!
