Usually I don’t root for losses, but if 1-2 in this stretch fires Raheem…
Winning some games after playoff elimination is such a cop out basis for evaluation. When things mattered you didn’t do it. Now you want to show something?
Happy that winning a 1 point game to a flaming out Bucs team after floundering the season with the roster we have is worth it to you Blank. And Rich McCunt if you see this fuck you too.
Maybe they hv finally found a decent kicker, that will help. The narrative surrounding this team would be different if they had a reliable kicker. They would have made the playoffs last season, and they’d have at least a couple of more wins this season.
I’m all for firing Raheem, but what decent HC candidate is going to want this job going into next year with no QB or first round pick? If nobody promising enough will take the job, I could see how it might make sense to keep Raheem another year and make a change at OC. If he fails early on again, fire him and tank the season, and have an offensive minded coach come in and draft the QB he wants. Idk, it’s such a mess that I can’t see how just a head coach change really fixes things. If Raheem goes, Terry should go too because you can’t utterly screw up 2 HC hires and the QB situation and stick around. Almost feels like we need to blow up the whole thing and rebuild.
So a home win against one of the worst teams in the NFL and a road win against one of the worst teams in the NFL qualifies as keeping these tools in their jobs? If that happens I’m taking an off year with the Falcons.

They’ll get blown out by LA and lose to the saints at home the last day of the season
No way he stays with the state of the fanbase Arthur is going to have to deliver blood. I’m hopeful we can remove Raheem and Terry. Doubtful he’ll take the necessary step of Rick McKay
How about if we go 0fer? Think they’ll keep their jobs then? Freaking insane.
Why do people act like the win over the Buccs was a decent game from the falcons. We gave the game to the Buccs and they just couldn’t do anything. We looked terrible. 19 penalties and more denied. That’s a huge sign of an undisciplined team that looks like it’s given up. It was a clear case of talent overcoming the coaching. Kirk cousins and Kyle pitts performed for contract years. And bijan is bijan. That’s basically it lol
I don’t care if we win out and play fantastic football. How can we justify getting blown out by bad teams this year and losing VERY winnable close games? A good coach easily gets us in the playoffs, or at least still in the hunt these last couple weeks. In my mind there’s nothing Raheem can show in these last few weeks.
30-0 against the panthers told us everything we need to know. Super Bowl winning coaches simply don’t show up like that against any team, much less a division opponent. 37-9 against the Seahawks, 34-10 against the dolphins (garbage time TD), what else do we need to know?
Keeping them next season just ensures the Benz is vacant at least one more season…it’s my team, but your revenue Blanky.
Doesn’t want to make big-picture changes during the season.
I swear I feel like we hear that around the same time almost every season.
And then the changes that are made, if any, are painfully underwhelming.
Face it. This is a culture of mediocrity. And it has been for most of the five decades I’ve been a fan.
They don’t care to change it, because they’re making bank regardless.
The grift that keeps of grifting…

A serious organization will look at the last 2 years as an objective failure. The bungling of the QB situation is fireable. Taking a roster that was underachieving at 7-10 to 5-9 is fireable.
I want to lose all games so Raheem and Fontenot get fired.
Fuck… I hate the saints but I think it’s going to take another sacrifice like Jameis’ fake knee at the end of the game a couple years ago that got Arthur fired. Idk what is worse losing to the saints or keeping Raheem as our HC
If I had ever, even for one second, thought that delivering a championship was a stated objective in the Mission Statement, I wouldn’t believe it now…. Luckily, I have always known winning is not a goal of this organization… so none of this is surprising.
Let me help with evaluation for Raheem:
– most penalties in a game since 2016
– originally hired Lake, Williams and Robinson as coordinators
– in game timeout/time management is subpar
– minimal player development on offense
– lack of locker room leadership
– rabbit ears with media
– no plan to develop a franchise qb
– panics against the clock
– very little authority over players evident
– zero team growth over tenure
– ray ray and Ike Hilliard
Now Terry:
– Drafted KP with 4th pick (only TE ever taken top 5)
– signed KC off injury to large guaranteed contract
– drafted a qb in first round but no plan to take advantage of his low pay due to KC
– traded up to get Ruke when no one had him going early 2nd round
– Ritchie Grant
– lack of receiving corps in his tenure
– hired Raheem (at least was a part of it)
– minimal cap flexibility throughout tenure
– signed Fowler to big contract
– practice squad management/development
– zero winning seasons
McKay
– the list is too long, get this clown ass out of here
If Morris comes back, fan apathy will be at an all-time high and attendance at an all-time low. Blank, as a businessman, has to know this…doesn’t he?
Even if we win out, our record will be same as last year. After everything that’s happened this season, finishing the same or worse (likely) is a fireable offense IMO. I don’t see how coach Raheem stays.
Ah yes winning 2 matches against two of the most abysmal shit franchises of the past 5 seasons is for sure what a head coach of a franchise that aims at being a playoff team (but has been abysmal shit like the others) should do to keep their job after being abysmal shit for the whole season besides the Bills game
This is like beating the 9ers all over again
Winning meaningless games gives you confidence this idiot can somehow be a good coach?
I seriously wonder how many fans will turn on the team for keeping Morris.
Would be idiotic to keep them. This team is not winning when it matters most. Has come out flat multiple times over the last two seasons. Been blown out multiple times over last two season.
Incapable of fixing issues that are recurring. Bad hires for the coaching staff outside of Ulbrich. There is not a fucking world where Rah deserves to return for year 3.
Go Cardinals, Rams and Saints. I want Terry and Raheem gone.
2019 all over again. Started 1-7, finished 7-9. During that 6-2 stretch, they beat the panthers(5-11) twice, split the series with the Bucs(7-9), Jaguars(6-10), split series with the saints(13-3), and niners(13-3).
The 2025 Falcons were 4-9, but a 3-1 finish against the Bucs(7-7), cardinals(3-11), Rams(11-3), and (4-10) Saints is enough to keep people employed.
My gut feeling is Terry and Morris will get to keep their job, but they’ll have to fire Robinson. I said it then and I’ll say it now: If you’ve gotta fire people to keep your job, you shouldn’t get to keep your job. If it’s publicly known that you are going to reevaluate your staff after the season, that should already give you your answer.
Please lose
Pretty sure Raheem and Terry get another year. They’ll let Zac go if he doesn’t make us into an offensive powerhouse the last few weeks.
Raheems “CALL THAT” game changed his entire career trajectory, he will now become a Super Bowl winning coach
– Rich McKay to Arthur Blank the other morning
This sub needs to prepare itself for the fact that no one will be fired this Jan. This was never going to happen.
What a bunch of horseshit
Seems like a well thought out logical approach.
This is the same thing that kept Dan Quinn around too long. I don’t get why winning meaningless games after being eliminated from the playoffs matters as a performance metric.
Win all 3 or GTFO
I swear Imma start shopping at Lowes
8-9 is unacceptable we should be at least a 10 win team with the talent we have
This is just the delaying the inevitable. Morris is just not a good head coach. His record proves it as well as his mismanagement of players as well as game does it for me. I don’t ever root to lose, but we can expect a similar season if he stays next year. 🤷♂️
Winning meaningless games at the end of the season shouldn’t convince an organization to keep a Hc. You should of been winning earlier in the season so these games in December matter more. Going 8-9 and finishing on a 4 game winning streak doesn’t mean shit. Is been clear morris isn’t fit to be a Hc. Fire him grow through a thorough process and find the right candidate to replace him
Heem is going to find a way, isn’t he?
If they run the table going forward they still miss the playoffs. That should be all that matters. The evaluation should already be done. The season is already lost. Same shit, different year
Omfg imma have to root for the fucking saints
The absolute worst possible news.. isnt this season bad enough??
