A very happy victory Tuesday to you all. For the first time in a long time I was able to relax watching a Steelers game. What a joy. The aggressive fourth down calls were a welcome sight, the passing game finally seems to be taking hold, and even without Watt our defense played well. We should also take some time to recognize that our fourth-string OL Dylan Cook played a hell of a game for his first NFL start. Hopefully this win will give us some momentum going into Detroit next week. Are we hopeful now? Are we excited to see an AFC playoff picture without the Chefs? Do we still need to see some significant coaching changes (obviously yes)?

  1. Rodgers is slowly just morphing into the Juggernaut from Marvel with how big his helmet is getting

  2. Considering we have lost majority of the games vs legitimate playoff teams, I would say no. The victory is nice but I dont see anything that shows me we can advance past the wild card rd. If they can pull out a victory and keep that high octane offense of DET at bay on the road where DET plays well, I will have some optimism going into postseason.

  3. Why y’all gotta be putting big ass helmets on my boy like that??? He’s looking crazy! Hahaha

  4. Still a mediocre football team with a mediocre owner and a mediocre coaching staff. Cant get excited about beating a team worse than them.

  5. >Are we hopeful

Part of fandom is irrational optimism. As long as we make the playoffs I usually find some way to talk myself into the idea we can beat a team we most certainly won’t.

Its one game where anything can happen. We force 4+ TO’s, opposing QB struggles, we run for 200+ for the 1st time in about 10 years. So yeah im hopeful by default, but these games against the Lions, & Ravens will really inform my level of hope. Not even saying both games need to be victories (unless Bmore continues to win) but as long as we look like we belong: Sustained drives; defense not getting gashed; TOP is comparable etc…

  6. I’m trying really hard to not be heart broken but the Off has looked more consistent and settled in. If they can keep improving on this new offensive look, I would hope the Steelers could make it to the AFC Championship.

  7. Hopeful? I mean, yeah. It’s tricky.

Every playoff team looks beatable this year.

    *Just not beatable by us.*

  8. When the Steelers lost 3 out of 4 the season was looking over. With these last 2 wins a home playoff game is looking possible.

  9. The Lions are going to put a 100 spot on us aren’t they??? fk me, I might need a gummy or two for Sunday.
