Artyom Levshunov will be a healthy scratch against the Maple Leafs on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; TSN4, CHSN) after the defenseman was late for practice Monday, coach Jeff Blashill said after the morning skate at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Levshunov, the No. 2 pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, has 14 points (one goal, 13 assists) in 31 games while averaging 17:12 of ice time. “He understands we have a standard, and that’s been pretty clear,” Blashill said. “… He’s disappointed. It’s hard when you feel like you didn’t do it on purpose, and I get it. But you can’t lack on your standard.” Levshunov will be replaced by Ethan Del Mastro, who was recalled from Rockford of the AHL.
