best part is watching other games around the league and kickers nailing 50+ like it’s nothing. mid to high 40s used to be routine now it’s mid to high 50s. our kickers can’t make extra points or low 40s.
Could we draft a kicker this year please. I know it isn’t usually done but just to feel like we’d have someone who doesn’t suck. At least until pre season starts

So the Giants are going with the Daboll blueprint of never going for a field goal ever again. Ballsy.

The commonly occurring kicker nightmares, bottom of the standings dwelling, and the never ending Hyatt disaster really should be enough to get Joe Schoen fired. He might not have left us with empty cupboards but that doesn’t mean he’s the man to lead us to the promise land. Mara has to hunt for an elite front office executive, starting now, to build this organization back up.
The silver lining here is that the likely replacement on the PS, Ben Sauls, is a rookie unknown with a clean slate. Koo was likely never the answer from the start, and now Sauls gets a few weeks of no pressure tryout games. They have his rights for 2 more years after this, so there is possible upside and it really can’t get any worse so who cares if he is terrible.
From what I read on his scouting reports: he can really boom it, but his mechanics need work.
