NHL Highlights | Flames vs. Sharks – December 16, 2025

Zeri and Blake Coleman on the blue line. Yan Kusnet and McKenzie Weaguer. No changes out of LA in back for Ryan Husker's group who start with the puck. Glader with us tonight from San Jose. Glenner will send it into the Calgary Zmus Anderson turns it around. Kevin Ball pursued picked up by Skinner. Thrown to Celibri. Cut through one but Flames tap it back to the line. Clingberg is there. He was the OT hero for the Sharks in their five goal comeback. Blingberg reappears and he scores. He'll continue his roll and it's an early one- nothing Sharks lead. Well, that's his eighth goal of the season already for the tall blue liner. But look at Celibbrini that vision and just a beautifully placed back end. Flames. >> Looked like that was going to be icing. DARTS IN FRONT. THEY SCORE. A home bounce for the Sharks. And Mark Goodro makes it two nothing. What a strange play. This starts in the Sharks own zone. Everybody thought it was going to be icing. Dustin Wolf doesn't play it. You can see the linesman calling it off. And right in front is Good Row. And six minutes in, it's two nothing already for the Sharks. This is what the Flames have to do. They have to start getting pucks in deep and hunting pucks. They haven't done that very much for that first 10 minutes. Flames working hard down low. Cla plus pass stop asker line. Great work down low. Clap gets it out front to Lombberg. He gets an excellent opportunity. Yeah, it it is the right call, but you know, just the sentimental part of me, I'm hoping gets a start because it'd be kind of cool. HARD ONE TIMER AND THAT is in a bar down beauty. Blake Coleman continues his hot streak with a bullet. He's just going to get the nice little feed right there and rips it behind Ascarov. That is his 10th of the season. What a run he's been on. Blake Coleman just does everything right every game. >> Holding the line was fall does come out hits around. Twoon one Sharks to Pley to grab in the Ferraro. The left pass stop by Dustin Wolf and what became a onman rush. Now the other way Lombberg has Raspberry Sanderson. Lombberg shoots and scores. Brian Lombberg ties it up. his first of the season. Even a score in San Jose. But that's the thing you when you're a National Hockey League goalie, you've got to fight. And that's what he's done. He's made some big saves now. Ferraro with that chance. Defenseman jumps into the plate. Clap gets that rebound. Watch this outlet pass right to Longberg. There's Rasmus Anderson trying to join the rush. I'm not sure, John, if that hits the the stick of the Sharks player and throws the goalender off. I don't think so. simply why the Flames have called him up from the Wranglers. Been a fast fit. Lander and Rasmus Anderson will tango up and Anderson shakes free. The Landry picks it up, swings in front on the line and Goodro gets his second. Looked like it was staying out. Goodro popped it in. Sharks final eight lead. So there's a battle down low. Good roll throws it back. Now watch Danger going to throw it right out in front quickly. It's Celbrini. I believe it goes off Wolf in the post and it's just laying there. Yes, right behind and Goodro comes in for a second of the game. That was quite the line that the Sharks put out there. Their third line center, a first line center came on a change and then Good Row the fourth line left winger here. Yeah, I think there was supposed to be a third trip back with the Devils and Blake got traded >> before they could enjoy it. >> Yeah, I remember that story. >> So, he's liking this one in the San Jose zone. Good back up to the line. That shot bouncing. WHAT A STOP. DUSTIN Wolf with the right pad. Guy right in front and he's going to hammer that shot right on net. And Wolfe with the right pad save. That's his third really good save here in the second period for Dustin Wolf. >> Calgary had to get rid of it. Lapa some speed cutting TO THE NET. SHOT RIGHT. LEFT P stop by on a look. Sharks start with a puck in the third. Big hit by Weaguer. He won't start with a puck, but a great play by Anderson to keep it alive. Will beat Cad behind the San Jose net. Now out in front, Anderson deep and Ascarov does the splits to keep it out. And watch Rasmus pinch down, get body position on the left winger and attack the net. Great feed out in front from Nasam Cadbury. Excuse me. I think it was Farabby that saw him and Ecklas to Tapuli and off the skate. Sharks pick it up to point blank off the stick. Up and out. Break it up for the Sharks. Anderson, he turned it over. Grab will steal it and come in now. CELEBRATING. WHAT A MOVE. A STOP. THAT ONE GOES IN. Highlight real goal from Mlin. Celebrating. Third point of the night. What a play by the Sharks. And Celibbrini. That is phenomenal how he gets around ball. What great skating. Look at this edge work. Oh my gosh, that is just ridiculous. And Ball is a big man and he can't use the reach. Nothing that Dustin Wolf makes the first save and I believe it goes off the shin pad. Still a twogoal spread on the board. Here comes to Foley. Breakaway. Deets stopped by Dustin Wolf. 300 will have to wait. >> You can tell he's got a real nose for the net. And he's going to try and go club side as well. I should say trying to get some offense. >> Saw that late in the Detroit game where they came to within one. >> That's right. >> Wrap around by Ekan at the side. They'll be banked in. Another one off the wall. But he has been all around it tonight. Here's a play behind the net. Ekan tries to throw it on to Wolf. He kind of loses the handle and goes right to Tofoley at the side of the net. And you can see Tofoley, he takes his time and gives the Sharks a 5-2 lead here in the third period. Frost Kubernau. Now Calry scores Calry gets one back and Ascarov is claiming he wants to have a look at this. There's a puck battle to the left right here. Hubo spots Cadri coming off the bench. Backhand pass. Yeah. Wondering if Clapka is if is there a little bit of contact, John? I can't tell, but the thing is it would be outside the blue paint anyways and that would be one of the things that they definitely look at. It's a great shot by Cadri. And are they going to say Ascarov is out beyond the crease and he makes contact. Oh, there's Adam. Yeah. You know what? Adam Clapka's left foot definitely makes contact. >> I couldn't see it initially, but Ascarov signal now. Is that enough to prompt? >> It would be right there. And Ascarov. >> Yeah, he >> Yeah, I don't know if he has time to reset. Well, there >> cross dials it up, reaches center, turns it in. >> Two flames on the puck. Gorlong threading the needle, celebrating for his second of the game. A full point puts it in to the empty net and secures this one for the Sharks. Put a bow on this one. Good roll out there. Nick makes a nice play taking a hit in the corner from Kaka. Nobody's going to catch Celbrini on this one. The Sharks will win their third straight off a four-point night from Celebrini. 63 the final in San Jose. And you can just sense the excitement here in San Jose.

Macklin Celebrini netted a pair of goals, including a highlight-reel beauty, and Barclay Goodrow supplied another two goals as the San Jose Sharks defeated the Calgary Flames 6-3.

  1. Now that is how you tank. 1st 2 shots, Wolf lets in 2 goals. He is just to small for todays NHL. He ended up at.800% average, Flames now in 31st place, just 1 pint up on Vancouver Although Flames have played one more game

  2. The Sharks just outskated the Flames for the last half of the game – the Flames didnt play terrible, aside from the 1st period quick goals..
I think Bahl and Wolf did not play well though.. they did not look prepared to play tonight. Maybe too much dad-time 😆

  3. So glad the Sharks sucked so bad 2 Years ago and got Celebrini because of it. It is now fun again to be a Sharks Fan. Now we’re rooting hoping to make the Playoffs instead rooting to win the Draft Lottery again!

  4. If Askarov doesn’t make mistakes, this team can reach the conference semifinals. goalkeeper of half a team in the NHL. Orlov is an experienced defenseman with a Stanley Cup. Celebrini is torn apart. Smith is fine. The Swedish couple doesn't look bad. If Chernyshov plays at all it will be great. and then you look and Michkov will still leave the fil…… привет из России

  5. Celebrini looks like young Sid. His skating and passing skills are even better. Like in the first goal. Offensively he is better.

But defensively Crosby is unbeatable. So….Celebrini has still some work ahead.

  6. Wolf messaged me before the game. He said and I quite, “if management won’t pull the trigger and get the rebuild going I’ll do it myself”

Go flames 🔥 tank commander out!
