  1. Probably has something to do with having too many players from the same position coming from one team. The system is probably set up to allow 1 or 2 players from certain positions to be selected.

    The Falcons defense having a bunch of Pro-Bowl worthy players from the same position is probably breaking the systems logic that says “only 2 players can start on a team at OLB, so how can there be three nominations?”

    Obviously, that doesn’t excuse why Floyd is up there over Pearce. That I don’t know. Maybe it’s because he’s not listed as a starter on our depth chart.

  2. I think it’s very possible he’s letting Floyd go instead because #56 is 33 years-old and has never been to a Pro Bowl. He’s probably just being a good team mate. Just my personal opinion.

    If I was in his shoes, I’d probably do the same thing.
