San Jose Sharks vs Calgary Flames – 12/16/2025 – Teal Town USA After Dark (Postgame)
It's just on. >> The San Jose Sharks defeat the Calgary Flames 3 to2. Oh, not three to2. Sorry. The Cal Let's redo that. It is rusty time. All right. The San Jose Sharks defeat the Calgary Flames 6 to3. And we're here to break it down on Teltown USA. Mlin Celebrating scored a ridiculous goal and has a casual four-point night. And we'll break it down. You know where to find us. You know us. You love us. You can find us on the YouTube, the Twitter, the X. You can find us really everywhere if you just uh type in Tealtown USA into your cellular device. And I am pleased to be joined with Tyler. How are you, Tyler? I'm doing well. San Jose won. >> San Jose wins and I believe they're now tied with LA in terms of points. >> Yeah. Well, I also got I guess we should specify that's no longer becoming like a surprise when the Sharks win. >> I think I mean I think there's still some sort of shock factor because I I don't think anyone was expecting them to be this good. No, I think most people I think most people don't expect to get beaten by a U8 team in uh the NHL. >> Um 102. Yeah. No, they're 102 and one in their last 13 at the tank. Yeah, they are uh very good at home. I also was uh bringing the bad energy before the podcast even started. Uh the Sharks are now like 12 goals without uh Will Smith or something like that. Uh it's a little little gross. Yeah. Yeah. Um yeah. I mean, look, uh let's just start breaking this down here. Um the chat is rocking tonight. Um, so we start off right off the bat. Mr. John Clingberg is like, "Hey guys, I'm not done scoring yet." Uh, he gets he gets his eighth of the season. John Clingberg has eight goals, everyone. This is not a drill. This is not a drill. Um, >> yeah. >> Unfortunately, he he proceeded to actually No, I need to double check. Did are Ecklland and and Clingberg now tied? cuz I know Ekkund's >> um I'm not sure. And yes, I did pull out a Capri cuz I'm an absolute child. >> Well, on the answer to AJ, it's not a onesie. This is a hoodie. >> You can't see it, but this is the hoodie. Uh we had made the bet that uh if Clingberg got a hat-tick, I'd wear the onesie, but uh >> Goodro didn't deliver on that front. >> No, >> but what was I saying? Yes. So, John Clingberg kicks us off. Uh Cellabrini with his 32nd assist. Uh, great way. Great way. And then Barkley Goodro would start a night of chaos and score to make it two nothing for the Sharks. Zack Atop Shock gets his first assist or first point as a San Jose Shark and Vincent Aoria would also get his first point. Um, look, that wouldn't last for too long as the Calgary Flames Coleman and Lombberg would of course Ryan Lombberg with his first goal of the season against the San Jose Sharks. Woo. Uh, no, but what were your thoughts on that? Like overall two goals by the Sharks, two goals by the Flames to start off this game. I'll say mildly concerning. Um, like the Sharks are doing what they've shown to be doing where they start out strong, which is absolutely great. I love to see that energy. There's been plenty of times where I hated Sharks hockey in the first period because uh we were a bunch of old men and we were slow out of the gate. Uh and the children aren't doing that. Um still concerning that they then let him come back because uh what was it like across 10 shots there were four goals between the two teams. >> Yeah, it was it was a what is goalending moment there. U because the shots were nine nine and seven. They changed it now. It's nine and nine apparently in the first period and I swear it was nine and seven and both goalies allowed three and two or >> I know that I know Wolf had both his first two shots go in and then I think it was the seventh shot. Oh, it might have actually been just uh four goals on nine shots for both teams. >> The ra the race is on. >> Uh anyways, yeah. So, the Sharks kind of start blowing they blow the two nothing lead and you're like, is it going to be one of those nights? Um, but it wouldn't be as Barkley Goodro would get his second goal of the period. Um, which would put him on hat-tick watch. You heard that correctly. Barkley Goodro was on hat-tick watch. Um, and the assist would go to Mlin Celibbrini and Ty Dandrio. how those three ended up on the ice together at the same time. We will never know, but they did. >> I am so sorry for everybody who takes part in Tank League. Um to this week would not be good for uh Clingberg and or Gdro owners. >> Uh and then the second period, nothing really happens. Shots are pretty even. It's 87 in favor of Calgary. But then the third period happens and well, let's put it this way. The Sherks started the third period, how would we say it? Badly. I think the Flames outshot them with it was either five nothing or eight nothing to start the third. And you're sitting there and you're like, well, thank you, Ascarov. >> Yeah. Um, is it just score effects? Is it you know what what I don't know what happened there, but they forgot how to play hockey. >> Well, this is sadly a thing that we've probably routinely been seeing from the later periods of of the Sharks is for some reason they don't finish games the same way they start games. Uh I don't know. They made it work. I can't say that it they failed, but >> we'll get to what made it work in about 40 seconds here. >> You know what? The Sharks need to turn the corner when it comes to third periods the same way John Clingberg turned the corner with actually scoring, >> you know. Very solid. Very solid. I just realized I'm dressed like a baseball catcher right now. I'm about to catch some baseballs. Um, anyways, sorry, my brain derailed. But then Macklin Celbrini would score the most insane goal ever. Um, we'll get to that in a second. The backland CBrini would score the most insane goal ever and was basically just took the team and was like, I'm going to carry you on my back and he scored to make it 4-2. Tyler, your thoughts on that disgusting spinama goal? Um he did not feel good that Will Smith still had the best goal uh Sharks had scored this year. So he said um hold my juice box. You know how that feels. And absolutely destroyed everything that was the Calgary Flames. >> Cell Brunie was on a mission tonight. Uh he would end the night with four points. We'll get to that. Uh for those of you who didn't see the goal, just go watch it. I it me explaining it won't do it any good. Um it is disgusting. >> So for any of you that know the history of uh why the Calgary Flames are named that uh we could have called uh Mlin Celebrity General Sherman today. Anyways, neither to Foley would answer uh later on in the third period to make it 52 assist to William Ecklund and Alexander Wenberg. So, the Swedes assist to Foley. Granted, I thought the Oh, it's an uploaded video. Okay. Well, >> we we don't have the ability to pull it up right now. >> No, I do. Just I'll keep talking. Uh while I pull up the video, um yeah, Tofoley would score, the Swedes would get the two assists on it, and then the Flames would answer right back as uh Nasam Cadri uh strikes against the Sharks. I think he's Nasm Cadri and Ryan Lombberg just always seem to score against the Sharks. It's not really funny. Like he would score every time against the Sharks. I mean, Kadri has always been one of those guys that is very, very good at scoring and fairly clutch. I feel he's kind of being wasted on whatever the flames are right now. Um, cuz I mean that is cup winner Kadri to you. >> I'm so sorry. Yes, Nasam Cadri cup winner. My bad. Keep going. So, no, I mean there was a lot of issues when it came to uh uh defense and you know some question marks of goalending early on. I don't think that was one of them. Uh great shot. Uh and really what happened is the Sharks bounced back and they made it irrelevant. >> Yeah. Yeah. Um, and then Mlin Celibbrini would end a four-point night scoring the empty netter. He had an insane like just he had an insane play to get it out of the zone right before that empty netter just flying basically through the air. Um, Orlo and Goodro would get the assist on that. Refs were terrible again tonight. Um, I mean at this point I think we're complaining about the refs every other game but so I'm going to avoid doing that. And overall, Sharks would win six to3 against the Calgary Flames. They're now on a three-game winning streak and tied for LA um for with 37 points. I believe that puts them in, I believe, the second wild card position if I'm not mistaken. Let's get to some quotes. Sy was incredible. I told Revo early on he was feeling it and he and I'd the charge again and he'd lead the charge again. Um, yeah. I mean, I don't know how much more the two of us can rave about celebrating his game tonight. >> I think the only way that they were able to slow them down was uh by bending the rules a little bit. >> Just a tad. Just a little. >> Just a little bit. We had once again, isn't this the second game in a row where Celebrin's had four points, didn't he? >> It's his He had three points last game. He had three points. >> Yeah. >> But yeah, seven points in two games. I mean, in >> Is that good? >> And funny thing is Team Canada roster is coming out here in like the 31st. So, >> I you'd kind of have to be dumb not to take him >> at this point. Yeah. Uh there's ups and downs every game. Calgary plays desperate, but we owned them. But we owned them one from what happened last time in Calgary. Um I owe John Clingberg an apology. I think all of us owe John Cling for an apology. It's not just you, Big Bird. Don't worry. >> You know what? I will hold my apology to the end of the end of the season, but if he does really well, I will make a show of an apology for Clingberg. >> Uh I also should mention um Igor Sherneshave made his San Jose Sharks debut. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Igor Sherneshave, uh Igor Sherneshave was number 92 tonight on the ice for the San Jose Sharks. He was a monster for the Cuda. I believe he had 23 points in 20 games um for them. An insane shot, a big body who can you could see it tonight, his speed, everything kind of flashed. He didn't necessarily get on the score sheet tonight. Sorry. 25 points in 23 games, 11 goals, 12 assists. What did you think of Igor Sherneshav's NHL debut? >> Well, I mean, if you were unable to identify him by his number of 92, you could also identify him as the one that towers over everybody else on the rink. Um, I mean, I can't say >> funny. He's enormous. Uh, I can't say he had like a particularly fantastic game. Um, there was a couple of weird things that I we were noticing early on. Like there's a couple times he just like left the rink well before everybody else on his line. >> He would change really early. >> Yeah, he he was just nervous or something, but he would change really early. >> But um I can also say it's like opposed to all the things that we've had with our problems with Dickinson, he he never looked out of place. >> No, never. >> Um I can't think of any particularly bad turnovers he did. I can't think of um bad uh like forced passes or anything like he was very much kind of the worst thing I could say is average. >> Yeah. No, I thought he had a really solid debut. Um again, even in the AHL, it took him it took him a second to click if I'm not mistaken in the AHL. like he didn't just immediately go like his first goal came in like I think November and then he scored 11 in the month of November. Um but like you know I think with him it'll it'll click with him offensively but he's really solid defensively like and that's the thing right he plays a really good 200 foot game. Um, >> yeah. I mean, he >> it might sound harsh to say that he he was average, but I mean, like, we're talking about a first liner in the NHL. Like, that is by no means an insult. Like, he just looked like somebody who was there but didn't just didn't produce points today. >> Yeah, I think the points will come on the first goal by Clingberg, he immediately uh Shernes immediately went to that and just screened the goalie and he's a he's a [ __ ] giant, right? So the goalie can't see anything. >> Yeah. >> And uh he absolutely looked like he belongs in the NHL, right? Like um him, Graph, and Celebrating I really liked. I despise the Oneberg, Ekllan to Foley line. Um I think they should switch Graph and Ekki. And that's nothing against Graph. I just That's nothing against Graph on the top line. I just think you give that second line something. It feels like >> it's really a weird mashup of players on that second line right now. >> It's all the misfits. >> Well, it's like again, I will still be a Wenberg defender. I just don't think he we're putting him in the right position. But also, Misa's out. And well, >> isn't Winberg on streak as you say this, by the way? Just saying. Anyways, >> Winberg or sorry, Misa is out. Um, but now he's just going to Canada. Um it's just he he's in too high a position. And then Tofoley's been having a kind of wishy-washy season. And then there's Ecklund, which he's good, but I mean, he's not Do you consider Ecklund a play driver? >> No, he needs a Well, >> I think he's more of a finisher. The thing is he he he uh he can dish an occasional P. He can dish passes really well. His vision, his like board play is really good. I just think >> pass in the game. >> Yeah. Like he can make great great passes and I'm the biggest Ekkan supporter as we all know on this podcast. But I think when you put him with a guy once Misa fully develops, we'll see Ekan's game more shine through. Not saying that I think Ekkan has been playing bad. He's also been I think a little snake bitten. Like some stuff is just not going for him that like the puck will bounce over his stick a little or something like that. Um but yeah, no I think I think Ekkan will be just fine and I think he's played well. Like it I Okay, let me clarify that. I think the results are there. I think he has another level that he can go to. That's my thing with Ekkan. Uh celebrating quote. We've won 16 uh we won we've won 16 and 20 all of last year. We're in a playoff spot, which is new. This is great. That's the most teenage quote I've ever heard in my life. >> Uh he's been to the NHL uh media training, so I mean, sure. >> Uh stay there. >> We love winning. It's fun to be around the rink when you're winning. I I >> All right. >> Uh I don't remember celebrating. All right. These quotes, >> you know what he's >> I appreciate the quotes, but these >> uh if Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I mean, okay, again, I think Ekkan's more of a passer than a finisher if I'm being honest. But I think honestly I was rooting for Celebrity Shernesh Ekkan. That's just because I feel like Sherneshov's bombs celebrish it. >> I personally think that we need to be doing more about pushing uh Smith to be more of the finisher on that line cuz we've seen it a couple times when he rips a shot. >> He just doesn't want to shoot a lot. >> He doesn't want to shoot. Like I think >> he's always looking for Sy to shoot. >> I know. Well, I that I think that's the biggest thing holding that line back is honestly you just need to teach Smith shoot it more. >> Well, he's injured right now for those of you. >> Okay, there's nothing we could do right now. >> I mean, an update on that. Uh, from what Ryan Rosski said this morning, Kersev is out week to week. Smith will be re-evaluated by the end of this week, but he's for sure missing this week. Just trying to inform our fans. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Um, in a coffee shop in Los Gatos. >> Yeah. with a with a sling on his arm. Uh Tooff has been our rock. He doesn't get he doesn't get the credit he should the way uh speaks up and treats people. It's so valuable. >> Yeah. I mean >> I'm so behind in this chat. >> I mean there's a bit that like to was the Revo before we had Revo. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So yeah, >> we're figuring out how to string wins together which has been a big goal for us. Yep. They're on a three-game win streak. Um, uh, Sharks now third in NHL with first period goals. >> Yeah. See there >> again, we start great. We just sometimes cannot finish. But this year, I will say this year, I will say the second period has been more of the curse for us than >> the third. We actually haven't blown that many leads from what I in the third period. In the third period, in the third period. Let me clarify that. We haven't blown many leads in the third period. What were you saying? Oh, we lost Tyler. Froze. Oh, no. I think we may have lost Tyler. Um, yes, we lost Tyler. He has the link to join. I'll fly solo for a bit. Um, graph. Yeah, I don't mind graph on the top line. My I was just trying to spread the wealth a bit. Um, because I I just didn't love how that second line looked. Um, but again, if things are working, don't change them. I totally get it. Tyler's back. >> Yeah, sorry about that. I don't know what happened. >> Your internet said bye-bye just like the sharks did in the first three minutes of the third period. Uh Clingberg is trying to for the Norris. Imagine the Sharks sweep the award ceremony. It's like uh Mlin Celebrity Hart, Ascarov Esna, Clingberg Norris, uh Ascarov Calder. Give them all the trophies. Uh, Greer GM of the year. >> Greer GM of the year. Uh, yeah. Thank you. Uh, thank you, Rooster. Sharks are 10 uh zero and one with a lead in the third period. Crazy. Yeah. And how many did they blow last year? Different team, guys. >> Hold on. Hold on. How many games did they have a lead going into the third period? >> You remember that Nashville game? Well, there was a few, but like how many games were really were they in the lead? >> He's using Puck Guys. >> Oh, >> all right. Never mind. Um, >> playing Puck Guy on a stream he's not even on. >> Always. We're playing well, finding different ways to win. It's more ideal when we don't cough up two goal leads, but the crowd is into it and that makes it fun. Oh, we get Barkley Goodro. Don't tell me Bark Barkley Goodro is going to be shirtless in like 10 minutes. Um, >> didn't didn't he already get it once and he didn't take off >> a couple bounces? Uh, found their net. Yep. >> Is Aski eligible for for the Calder? He sure is. >> He absolutely is. I I kind of doubt he'll he'll get it. Um, >> ask her off for Vesta. I'm joking. I mean, he made he made a really great push in November, but we need to see more of the consistency for him to really be a contender for that. >> So, Celabbrini has done dumb things and I'm about to read you said dumb things. All right, are you ready for this? >> He kicked a soccer ball at Sharky's head. >> That was Will Smith. Um, >> no. >> No. Few game. So, for those of you who don't know, um, for those of you who don't know, Celebrity has reached the 50 point mark. Um, so fewest games needed to reach 50 points in a season by a teenager in NHL history. Are you ready for the list? This is from San Jose Sharks PR. Sydney Crosby 28 and 0607. Wayne Gretzky in uh 32 and 70 and uh 7980 and 8081. and then Mlin Celbrini 34 and 2526. That's the end of the list. Two guys, Zinny Crosby, Wayne Gretzky. That's it. I mean, are we going back to comparing uh Celebrity to Crosby? I mean, let's see. They they play together in the off season. They're going to be on team Canada together. He's hitting a lot of the same benchmarks. I mean, >> like, look, I'm not the kid's 19. I'm not going to put the pressure of the world on him that he has to be that exy Crosby, but I'm just saying the comparisons are eerily similar. Um, also shout out to John Cllingberg with his goal in his third consecutive game with a goal, tying his career uh long point streak uh and fifth straight point. So, he has five goals and three assists, I believe, during this fivegame stretch. So, not bad. And Celebr has eight points in the last five games, >> which is a little bit misconstrued considering I think seven of those are in the last two. >> Why do you include three extra games? You don't need those. >> Uh with the win, the Sharks have won three consecutive g three consecutive games for the second time this season. Um, >> oh, do we want to bring up what was also said on the broadcast? How uh the Sharks might uh have a really really good schedule for the second half of this year? >> Do they though? >> Well, who they play? >> Okay, they're going to play a lot of teams. But wasn't it uh that they said on the broadcast the second half of the Shark schedule was the second easiest in the NHL? >> Yeah, I mean I think so. Like I heard that. Yes. I mean, they play the Stars. >> What? Oh, I guess you're right. Yeah, it's Stars, Kraken, then they play the Knights, Conucks, Ducks, Wild, Lightning, Blue Jackets, Kings. I wouldn't call this an easy schedule. >> Well, okay, there's still more than half the games in the NHL that we have to play. We're going to be playing playoff caliber teams. There's going to be I think we have at least one, if not two more games with Colorado. >> We have at least one more game with Dallas. Um there will be tough teams, but then also we get Calgary uh I think at least a couple more times. >> Yeah, they play Calgary. They play the Sabres. They play the Jets who are kind of Blackhawks who don't have >> Vancouver, the Flames again. Red Knights are good. Caps are good. Kings are always kind of a >> Hey, >> what Kings team are you going to get? Yeah, we're not ragging on Baddard. Baddard is great. Celebrity is just better. >> Who was ragging on Baddard? I don't think we >> It's things happening in the chat. >> Oh, okay. >> Um Randy Han said the Sharks were making the playoffs this year on the last night's podcast with Danny B. >> I got ragged on for saying they had 5%. 5%. Look, you look, did I think the Sharks would keep this up? No. None of us did. >> I still don't think they make the playoffs, but it's looking like it's better than 5% now. >> Like right now, they're sitting at what? They're So, right now, oh my. So, they The Winnipeg Jets are at 32 points. The Mammoth are at 35. The Sharks are at 37 and are five points away from the division lead. They're only like one point back of Edmonton and three points back of Vegas. >> Dude, the NHL this year is so stupid. Uh I haven't checked I haven't checked all the games in the East. Uh do we have somebody below 500 yet? >> In the East? >> I don't know. Let me look. I checked yesterday and everybody was 500 and above. >> Oh yeah, everyone's still 500 and above. The only team that's like 500 exactly and who could ruin it is Buffalo. >> Of course it's Buffalo. >> And then in the West >> 500s are still last. >> No, but you want to hear something crazy? In the West, you have one, two, three, four, five, six teams below 500. >> Um, Sharks are not one of those teams, actually. >> No. No. >> And two teams that sit exactly at 500. Charie got an apple tonight. No, he didn't. AJ, you're lying to me. >> No, he did. Third period. I'm I'm looking at the NHL website right now. >> Why did I not compute that? Okay. Well, hopefully they gave him his puck cuz I sure as hell didn't process that. Was it added late or something? >> Uh, I don't know. Uh, but he got the second assist on Maline Cbrini's uh football. Okay, so it was added late. Igor Shernoff has been given the secondary assist on this goal. >> Oh, >> his first career uh NHL point celebrating from Graph and Shernov. So, that's the insane spinama goal. All right. >> Uh, real quick, did we did we cover the first super chat? >> No. >> Okay. Well, it's a Jerry F super chat. Uh, if you can find that real quick because >> Yeah, I'll find it. Keep talking. >> Um, but thank you, JerryF. uh celebrating my son's uh or another sharks win with my son. Um and then we have another super chat that just popped up so we can cover that one as well. But yes, thank you so much, Jerry. >> Um >> yeah, uh the future is [ __ ] okay. I mean, normally we don't do the swears, but whatever. Uh, taking my dad to his second game Saturday and have officially made him a hockey/Sarks fan. Also got him a jersey. >> That's [ __ ] awesome. I love that. Um, >> oh, hey, do we want to talk about another jersey that we heard about? >> Hold on two seconds. But yes, congrats to Igor Sherneshov on his first NHL Apple. Um, so he did get on the board tonight, which is awesome. I'm very happy. Um, that makes me very happy. I was rooting for Eigor Sher in a shelf. >> Absolutely. >> What other jersey am I not aware of that got released? >> What other jersey got mentioned on the Discord that somebody managed to maybe get on national television about? >> Oh, yes. The San Francisco 49ers were at the game today. >> Not the one I was talking about, but we can talk about that. >> We should talk. We should mention that. What are you talking about? I'm talking about the uh Carrie Price jersey that might have been sponsored. >> So, let me give some context here. Um, one of our Discord listeners or one of our Discord fellow people, Lammy, Andrew Lami, Andrew Lami, bought a Sharks carry price jersey and went to a Montreal Canadians game in a San Jose Sharks carry price jersey and apparently was recognized and was tweeted about on Twitter on the >> and apparently got an interview >> and apparently landed an interview. So, shout out Lambie. Congratulations, Lambie. And um you're probably the only Sharks fan with a Carrie Price jersey. I'm not going to lie. >> Well, definitely the only Sharks fan in Montreal with a Carrie Price jersey. >> Yeah. >> Um but yeah, we could absolutely talk about the uh the Flames and Niners. >> Real quick, um Ascarov almost injured Brock Pury. So, for those of you who don't know, George KD, George KD is a fake Sharks fan. He He was actually a Sharks fan. Um, but George KD and Brock Party were opening the door and I think Ascrov kicked the door and it hit Brock Pury. So, it hit uh yeah, it hit Brock Pury and Brock Pury, I think, almost didn't expect that and I was like, Ascrov, please don't injure the starting quarterback for the San Francisco. Brock party has been upgraded to from uh to questionable for Sunday's game. >> Yeah. Uh and it was funny because the broadcast would either go from the like 49ers who as I think AJ said at one point looked really bored and the uh Calgary Flames dads that were all in attendance and I think they actually all got a photo together if I'm not mistaken. It's it's all over Twitter. Christopher, >> we also did have Lanny McDonald. So there is that. >> Yeah. So, that was um that was a game and they I'm glad the 49ers got to see the new superstar in the making or not he's already a superstar. Why am I saying in the making? Um Mlin celebrating insane game today. Um I believe he's assisted on almost like 50% of all Sharks goals. And yes, Max Miller just confirming Will Smith's right arm is in a sling. Just walked by. >> Yeah. Um yeah. Um also Michael Misa was in attendance for tonight's game. Assistant coach Brian Weisman said to him, "Go do your thing." as he left the room. Misa is headed to play for Canada in the World Juniors. So don't worry guys, he is going to World Juniors. Thank you Max Miller for that update. >> Yes. Um >> um but yeah, no uh we had a bunch of people in attendance at the at the game, but uh yeah. No, uh I I'm really happy that uh not only did the Sharks not manage to injure the 49ers, they actually got to show them how to win. >> Let me see if I can pull up the clip of the Ascarov injur Oh, I don't know if I can. Um, yeah. All right. Anything else? Any other thoughts? >> Uh, no. I think we've covered basically everything. We've mentioned that uh Misa's already going to Canada. >> Nice to see Misa supporting his Sagenov Bro. Yeah. >> Mhm. >> Though those two will be on the same line together sooner than later and just demolish the NHL. So, >> yeah. >> Um, >> no, I think we've covered everything for the night. Yeah. No, I mean, look, um, the Sharks are in a playoff spot. >> Still, >> they're going to go in a 10ame heater, aren't they? >> Like, here's my here's my thinking, right? Like, no one saw this coming. At least I like at the start of the season if you were to tell me the Sharks would be what now the record is like they have seven like I would probably laugh at you and tell you you're crazy cuz we were all pissed off that they did nothing in free agency. I remember sitting in this exact chair during free agency and looking like I want to like kill someone cuz I'm like they did nothing. >> They signed a lot of defenseman. >> They did sign a lot of defensemen. Um you're not wrong. But look, great game for the Sharks, great game for um everyone involved. Um and yeah, uh if you want to listen to this again, you can if I can find the button. Oh my. In case you missed us, you can find us on the YouTube. Uh hit that like, comment, hit the subscribe but hit the subscribe comment. You can find us on all the channels. Um, wherever you get your podcast, we are probably there. Uh, final thoughts, Tyler, before we wrap this up for the night. >> Uh, my final thoughts is AJ's about to fight you. >> Okay, AJ. All right, let me let me let me rephrase that. Everyone but AJ saw this coming. Okay, >> AJ. I I think he's challenged you to a duel on Discord. You're going to meet at dawn or something like that. >> I already beat AJ in a duel once at Discord. It's it's it's nothing. It's fine. Um >> no, stock up Sharks. Stock down basically anybody that's already below the Sharks. It's not getting better for them. >> Yeah, the Sharks are what? Like a couple points up on Utah now also. And the Jets and >> Well, I mean, >> oh, sorry, the Jets. They're like the solids up on the jets right now. >> I think everybody kind of knew that the Kraken were flying a little high, but I was not expecting to fall so quickly. >> What? So the I don't even know what the Kraken are in their last 10. It's not like if you look at teams record in their last 10, it it's uh it's not great. Um let's look at the like Toronto's the Seattle Kraken are 18 and one in their last 10. >> It's not good. So yeah, um I'm sorry Seattle, Calgary, and uh Vancouver. It's It's not going to be a fun season. However, the draft party will probably be fun for you guys. >> Yeah, trust me. We were there, folks. We get it. >> Um just saying Barry hosts a Super Bowl. Sharks went to the cup finals. Super Bowl is in the Bay. World Cup was in the Bay. Sharks had their best season ever before the tourney began. Just hoping. So, the Sharks are making the Stanley Cup final. Okay, cool. Anyways, that's how we're going to end this show tonight. >> Not only we're making the playoffs, we're beating everybody in the West. >> Not only are we making the playoffs, we're making the Stanley Cup final, guys. Um, my final thoughts, when the Sharks do good, it's good. Um, and yeah, like look, Igor Shernershave I thought had a really solid debut. Um, and Mlin Celerini is a superstar at 19. Life comes at you fast, folks. And with that, anything else you want to add, Tyler? >> Oh, I was going to just uh stir the pot some more and say you mean generational talent. >> Keep it real. Keep it teal. Keep it real, teal. Have a good night, everyone.
The San Jose Sharks continued their momentum from their road trip in a 6-3 victory over the Calgary Flames. A night of nights for many Sharks like a four point night for Macklin Celebrini (who gets to 50 points on the season), two goals from Barclay Goodrow, Tyler Toffoli gets his 300th goal, and Yaroslav Askarov stopping 27 of 30 shots for the win. Jules and Tyler enjoyed breaking down Team Teal’s 17th win.
