frustration level like for you guys when you finish with 23 shots on goal. You're getting chances, but you're just not really converting on those chances. >> I mean, yeah, that's it. Uh, basically, it's really frustrating. >> I just feel like it's happened too many times where we've outplayed the opponent and we're not >> not coming out with the win. Uh, once or twice is fine, but it's happened a lot, especially at home, unfortunately. >> Um, finishing an issue. Yeah. Yeah. >> Our standard can't be uh just playing well and not scoring cuz we're almost we're all 500 or one game above. But >> there needs to be more more from me, more from the next guy, more from whoever. Like there just needs to be more. That can't be, oh, we outplayed him. You know, it's good, but there just has to be more than that. >> Mentally, how frustrating is it in the in the moment when you're going through it and you're looking up at the scoreboard maybe in the third period and it feels like, okay, here we go again. Uh to be honest with you, in the moment we feel like we were dominating the game. I mean quite literally felt like we were could have been 5-2 today. I don't know. In the moment you just think it's it has to come. It has to come. And then you get down to 3 minutes and you look up it's two nothing. You can't believe you're pulling your goalie again. It's just I think we feel good during the game, but right now it sucks. Yeah. There's more like I have more. I can't this can't be the standard we expect to play to and just leave that go home tonight and be like, "Oh, we played well again. Out played the other team." We didn't score. So, um, a lot of lot of good things the last two games, but to come out 0 and2 at home this week or these two games just just sucks. Like I don't know. It's the same thing every game. I feel like >> um just the power play as well tonight just just struggles on that. Where do you feel like the disconnect is is there for you guys? >> Well, I don't think we struggled tonight on the power play. Like we had a lot of zones. We had we hemmed them in. We had a lot of chances. That was a different story than yesterday. Yesterday we were opportunistic. I thought had some some broken play looks, but I thought tonight I thought we took advantage of their passive penalty kill and got some really good looks in tight and you know their their goalie played really well today, made some timely saves and we just have to keep raising the bar for ourselves to bear down. You know, I don't think we've talked a lot about bearing down our chances, but you know, that's something we can definitely improve on. >> Like, hey, the chances are there, but like you know, we're 35 games in now and this is the six seventh time I think you guys have been shut out. You're not finishing enough. like how do you how do you weigh that? >> Um maybe work on more in practice. I mean we can score goals. We we've showed how many games we played on the road that we've shown that we can score. Um so I don't know. It's it's um >> I don't I don't think it's it's uh I'd be more worried if it was, you know, all through the season. Not I mean the the home the home stuff that that's that's obviously discouraging when when this happens and um you know maybe there haven't been this many nights like this I feel like we're playing well we're creating chess but we just can't score. Um but the fact that that that's you know trying to find a way try to I don't know it's I wish I had a better answer for you honestly more than just to try to >> become a little bit more desperate at home. I mean it's it's Yeah, I I don't I don't what else to say. I I wish we just scored more goals. >> How do you keep your morale up? >> We have no choice. >> What's What's the option really? Right. So, um I think um I mean I think there's been a lot of things this season I I feel like we could uh that are I guess in a certain way positive that we have to keep building and like we've shown ourselves but uh we have to do it more often. That's it's you know it's it's a it's tight in the standings too. So the points really matter and that's that's what uh that's what you know we we have to we have to start winning games especially at home. Last one for me. >> You didn't score on the power play today, but uh JT was encouraged by the chances that you got. Did you feel like you guys were connecting more? >> Yeah, I mean it's it's uh I feel like it's been unfortunate in a situation where we've uh for different reasons been changing the units obviously like some injuries and and stuff like that. So, uh haven't gotten a chance to like get much going and especially in games. I feel like it's been up and down with the power play opportunities too. But I thought we we did a good job today. I thought we were um or a better job, should I say? I would say it's a good job if we maybe score and we win, but uh a better job of creating chances. And uh again, we we got to find a way to to to um to get a few for us.
